So do you agree with

A. Believers can fornicate and not be fornicators because all things are now lawful

B. Do you believe that 1 Cor means that fornicators, liars, and adulterers who do not repent may go to heaven, they just will not inherit

C. Do you believe that unrepentant fornicators, adulterers, liars, idolators, those who practice such things, and never repent, have eternal life?

D. Do you believe that 1 John 3:9 is talking about only the new nature, and not the christian

Are these things gospel?

OSAS, actually TEACHES that a TRULY BORN AGAIN, absolutely WILL STRIVE TO KEEP HIS COMMANDS OUT OF LOVE FOR HIM:

John 14:15 (NKJV)
15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

A when we fail, we are the ones who automatically fall back on:

1 John 1:9 (HCSB)
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Any more stupid questions ? ? ?

It is mostly Arminians that teach anti Lordship. And a lot of
1 John 1:9 (HCSB)
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
though I do not think all. But then again, many fundi Baptist’s are Arminian, at least here in Texas
I have NEVER found a FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST OR CHRISTIAN that does not believe like me. If they are ARMENIANS, the LOSS the right to lay claim to the title FUNDAMENTAL, in my opinion.

I agree. I am a fundamental baptist, not in name but in belief, and not like the new breed

What would you call Steven Anderson. Is he a FB?

Thanks. I dont agree with the half baked quotes that I listed either. They are various things that have been promoted here

Go back and read posts from yesterday particularly the ones by @KJV1611 and tell me if he is teaching grace correctly

Like 107,363. I think what he said is a doctrine that abuses grace

@VCO what is your opinion on on post 107,363? Not saying he’s a Baptist, just asking for your take on it

No born again Christian is a fornicator even if they fornicate. ALL THINGS are lawful for those in Christ.... all things are not expedient for us but all things are lawful. So even if we fornicate we are not fornicators.

So Paul’s warning applies to lost peoples.
Here it is VCO. Is this good doctrine?

What does John mean...if we confess...God will forgive. But this is not referring to maintaining salvation, but fellowship, and not to propitiate Gods wrath, which was done at the cross, but to remove our sense of guilt that may weaken our confidence before God.

The cross propitiated Gods wrath. Confession deals with our broken fellowship with God. Broken on our end, not His. His attitude towards us did not change, but guilty conscience tends to change our attitude towards Him. So confession heals us and cleanses us

Not my quote, but a really GOOD one! Guess who said it.

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.

Which I have agreed with you in the past and stated so in response to when you posted the above.

The word confess is not the same word as repent.
