Paedophilia, threesomes, gay relationships, affairs, playboy magazine and it's ilk, lust, upskirting, the list goes on and yes, this is way off topic so I am saying no more on the subject here.

Incorrect, Adam and eve made loincloths out of leaves. The first iteration of clothing. God knew they were now damaged goods and not worthy to be presented in his image, hence he gave them something better to hide behind
What bible you are reading, the ones I have read say out of skins not 🍁

Here’s some
New International Version
The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

New Living Translation
And the LORD God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife.

English Standard Version
And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.

Berean Study Bible
And the LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

New American Standard Bible
The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.

New King James Version
Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

King James Bible
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Christian Standard Bible
The LORD God made clothing from skins for the man and his wife, and he clothed them.

Contemporary English Version
Then the LORD God made clothes out of animal skins for the man and his wife.

Good News Translation
And the LORD God made clothes out of animal skins for Adam and his wife, and he clothed them.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
The LORD God made clothing out of skins for Adam and his wife, and He clothed them.

Jesus Christ was sacrificed for our sin, those days of any other sacrifice are over. Clothing is now a manmade tradition, along with sexual immorality and pornography. Satan has having a great time here destroying mankind with his traditions

Are you saying that sexual immorality doesn't really exist,
and that it's just a "tradition"...
just our imagination?

OK but you just mentioned some random aberrations. To say that is a manmade tradition and not sin is unscriptural. Traditions can be broken, they are just manmade. Are you suggesting that we are not held to any sexual standard? That was my question in the previous post, I may have been a bit vague.

I understand putting tradition on bedroom activities as manmade, like you are to do things this way. Nonsense. But your post is vague enough to appear to be implying something about marriage.

So true. Given all the commands against nudity given to the Jews from God Himself I can hardly believe Jesus would have been seen naked in public at any time other than His death. Certainly not at His baptism. They baptized people clothed, just as they still do now. Full dunk!

Isaiah with his naked buttocks being the shock factor to the society tells us exactly how "nudist" Israelite society was. Likely the only reason Isaiah wasn't seized and attacked on the spot was because he was already established as a holy man, and the people feared God. If other people walked around naked, Isaiah wouldn't make any point while doing so, actually, nobody would notice.

another shock factor they divided the clothing.

I missed that part, since Isaiah's was common sackcloth? Who took the clothing...? Or you refer to Jesus' royal robe?
But foretelling the ministry of Jesus which also lasted 3 years... He became naked and barefoot (spiritually) for us so we could get clothed into (spiritual) royal garments... never noticed this similarity with 3 years of Isaiah, amazing.

WHERE is it written that ANYTHING God created is evil? The facts
are, God created mankind without clothing and saw that it was good.
Yet, we hear the few pastors that'll address nudity saying, "we're called
by God to dress modest and pure." Beloved, not that it would ever occur,
but IF the entire flock is saved and forgiven of their sins, they could
all be in worship services stark naked and never once offend God.
Adam needed a COVERING for his failure to ask God's forgiveness
but the second Adam, Jesus, provided the only covering a saved
person will ever need before God, His precious Blood-covering.

The problem with the parson's ploy for personal modesty and pureness
is that there's nothing immoral or impure about the naked body - that is
unless that person is carnal-minded when dealing with the subject of
nudity. Many of these impure are Christ-rejectors and unsaved souls.
Everywhere in scripture where it talks of nakedness being covered has
to do with unsaved, unforgiven sinners and never once speaks of the
truly saved, covered-by-the-pure-Blood of Jesus in God's eyes.

Yeah, this could theoretically be so (people being together in worship service and sitting naked and not sinning).
The problem is we are still trapped in flesh, and while we are born again and do not want to sin we constantly wrestle, we are not 100% free of sin (the gospel of John teaches that the person who says they are without sin is a liar). So this arrangement could be a stumbling block for somebody.

If it edifies you personally AND does not cause others to stumble, and your conscience is truly clean, by all means continue... But I think you can see it is controversial, even you yourself admit it's controversial, so it is not edifying to most of us here, people feel repulsed, yet you are persistent... that is not edifying... Not that it's anything wrong with person being naked per se. But within interaction with others it can go wrong. That's why God preserved it only for the most intimate relationship - marriage. Maybe you and some others are OK and feel nothing but purity around other naked people. But please accept to most other believers it's not comfortable. I am not that close with other believers that seeing their naked body feels normal or natural. I believe I am one with the other believers, but through Holy Spirit, certainly not through flesh. Family members are not to be looked upon this is abominable to God and this didn't change just like "don't kill" didn't change. While ritual law got fulfilled, being a foreshadowing of things to come moral law, while perfectly fulfilled in Christ, is still expected from us as Christ is being formed in us, and expectation got furthered that also thoughts of the heart are looked at. Habakkuk 2:15 warns against looking upon another random person's nakedness (ANY neighbor).

It's nobody's "ploy" to preach modest apparel. It's taught by the Word of God in the New testament, to the saved people. I again do not speak in judgment for you - God knows your heart best, I've seen your other posts so I have some base to hope you're not into immorality. I am not out to chop your head off, or hate you. But I really disagree with misapplied Bible interpretations to further the nudist lifestyle... and this is a huge red flag against the lifestyle.

Angels from heaven fell observing daughters of men, yet nudists believe that human males can look at a bunch of naked females and that this will never be an occasion to stumble, no it will never even cross their thoughts...
(meanwhile Jesus says sin in thought is as bad to God as committing it in deed)
"Saved" does not mean that we absolutely never get tempted or never give into temptation:
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
So to think this lifestyle will somehow never be an occasion for its participants to stumble just because they are believers, is error.
And insisting that other believers should strip also before others, when they are clearly uncomfortable and grossed out.. tastes of molestation. Just no.

I actually had to go back to the first post to remember what this thread is (or rather, was supposed to be) about.

I have an answer to the OP, and I think it's a good answer. Unfortunately my answer to the OP would be completely meaningless in current context, because this thread is now a debate thread about public nudity. :-/

He tells us this...

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
Philippians 4:8 NASB

Based on this often quoted scripture what are some of the specific things you ponder, reflect and think about that fall into the category of things in this particular verse?

I just got done listening to this sermon by Doug Bachelor, it is inline with the topic. Are you reading my mind? :)

Hi Gregoryp,

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong person - so please correct me if I am - I have read a few of your posts in the past, and clicked on a link you shared because you mentioned that one of your interests is sewing.

I could be remembering wrong, but I thought one of the things you featured on your site was... clothing... that you made (rather well, I might add), and had for sale?

I was just curious as to why, if you don't believe in actually WEARING clothing, why did you've take up MAKING clothes (which are apparently something you don't believe in) as your craft of choice?

I don't mean any disrespect, and am asking this as an honest question.

I just find paradoxes, especially in real life, to be rather intriguing.

God bless.

Interesting question. I look forward to the answer.

If only we lived in a sinless world, where sexual deviance wasn't an issue...

Anyway...

Today, I am thinking about the cool air meeting my arms that are up out of the blanket. I am thinking that the birds, though quieter this morning, are starting to make themselves sweetly known to my hearing. I am thinking of what I am going to do next...
have a hot cup of coffee with a touch of creamer and cinnamon. Oh how yummy it will be.

I'll bring it back to my cozy wozy bed where for a little while longer I can read and maybe even learn a thing or two. I am then thinking that before I do chores before going to coach volleyball for middle school girls, I'll take my dogs for a walk. Maybe later, I'll enjoy laughter with a grandchild.

Ahhhhhh....deep breath of my Lord.

Not all thoughts, nor all my day will be filled with sweetness, but for right now, I am filled with His sunshine.

Thank You Lord.
