MEL, you need some help in grasping reality...
anyone who loves m&ns is definitely sick
in some way...
this sounds 'demonic - tried and true - if you all don't see it,
then it's on you!!

prayers sent...

Oldethennew,

May I please ask, what exactly happens with your username?

I know you've been here a long time, and I believe I'd read somewhere that you are a husband/wife couple who jointly shares this name.

Is this why some posts from "Oldethennew" are sweet, loving, and encouraging, while at other times, posts from this exact same username declare everything and everyone to be evil and demonic?

It's a bit jarring because the reader never quite knows which one to expect, just like Jekyll and Hyde.

I never quite know to respond to the "You're all demonic, everything is demonic, you're going to hell because you're all deceived" personality when it shows up...

I'm sorry if you're going through something, but for this particular personality, it always seems to manifest itself in accusing everyone else of having the problem.

The main and best way to get your other half straight from God is to go to him in prayer ask him to show you and tell you and wait for his answer :)
Does that mean we are only half people? Sorry I dont get it.
Or are you talking about pizza?

I once new someone who did the same thing and became convinced God wanted her to marry Carmen (yes the popular CCM hero of the 80s). She held onto this for Years and years. Despite never having even met him.
They never got married. Or even met. But she did marry someone else in her church.

The moral? Just because one persons life works out one way doesn't mean that is somehow the magic formula for everyone. Don't presume it working for one person means it is the same for everyone. That is not biblical.
I know it might not work out the same for everyone...... My point is to always put God first when you worship God in heaven and take it to him in prayer on your needs whatever it may be for a wife or husband etc God always answers and if it does not work out it means that person needs to check there standing with God because God doesn't lie or miss lead you the wrong way

This is so true. You kneel and pray. But the problem in us, like for me, is the waiting period. It takes a lot of patience and faith. 😊

Ok yes well in the Bible Paul does advise if you are single dont look for a wife (he doesnt mention husband) and if you are married dont try and get a divorce. Why because he wants you to be happy as you are, concentrate on God first rather than always worry about whether you are married or not.

To be blunt its a waste of time to be worrying about those things. God is going to look after you whether you are single or married He so much bigger than what we can ask or think...and He knows whats right for each of us.

When I prayed about it I put it in God's hands so no I am not worrying

Well good thats what everyone ought to do. It only takes a few minutes to pray that and then you can go on to other things. Its very tiring to hear about people contantly worrying and moaning about how they are single....just as tiring to hear as people who worry and moan and groan about being married!

What God did when people just complained.. about stuff instead of going directly to Him about it...and requesting help. .He just opened up the ground and it swallowed them up.

Yeah, but when an opportunity arises you have to be ready to take bold decisive action. Being tentative at that point isn't going to cut it.
“Half measures availed us nothing. We stood at the turning point. We asked His protection and care with complete abandon."

It's always the best to put it in God's hands as we don' t know what the person is really like. We can't see the condition of their heart only God can. What we are seeing may only be an act.

when your all fixed inside with spiritual growth, personal responsibility, emotional healing, then the right one turns up. Saying that its up to you to also make a move. And yes prayer does help. It was amazing and not the sort of person I was expecting
