If it is mentioned, show us where! Then we can exegete the passage and discuss it!
I`ll tell you what. I`m not paying a subscription so you would need to initiate a conversation box. If you do that I`ll share 1 or 2 links with you and you can go judge for yourself.

All I did was demonstrate just how much and how our Father has given us to understand the nations at end times.

Now, concerning prophecy and dthe Word, I await understanding from the Holy Spirit. At present I have awaited much for a half century without speculating on just how important one nation is over another…...……..enjoy your study and always wait on the Lord. God bless you.

Widely held view is that your verse refers to the Arab oil countries, UK,US,CA, AU,NZ. Interesting now that UK is trying to leave the EU.
Not what I`m talking about but it`s a good answer.

Because all he has is poppycock.
There are no scripture explicitly about the USA, there maybe some implicitly, because it says all the nations of the world.

That would be really S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G it.

Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

SHEBA ---> LOCATED IN ARABIA

DEDAN ----> LOCATED IN ARABIA

TARSHISH -----> LOCATED IN EITHER SOUTHERN SPAIN OR TURKEY

no, not those. one of the young lions of Tarshish.
how that interpretation goes, is that Tarshish, the lion seafaring merchant power, is identified with England, the lion seafaring merchant power, and her young lions, with the colonial nations that sprang from her.

you've never heard that before?

and how it may play out is that, Russia/Iran invades and threatens Israel, and the UN passes a resolution condemning it, but doesn't actually take any action. notice in the scripture, these nations spoken of in v. 13 make some noise and complain - but no one actually intervenes.

not saying i'm married to this interpretation, just mentioned it because it's the most plausible example of the USA actually being mentioned in scripture i know of.

A man that boasteth of false liberality,

(Proverbs 25:14)

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Why is it that theologians say the USA isn't mentioned in bible prophecy when it is clear Revelation 12 is speaking about the United States of America? Many bible scholars believe that the woman in Rev 12 is Israel and the child is Jesus but there are two clues that indicate the woman is the good ole USA. The first is that this woman is "clothed in the sun" which is another way of saying that she is "clothed in the Son". The USA is the only major nation in the world that has it's origins in Judeo-Christian values and is clothed in the Son. The second clue is that it says "with the moon under her feet". There is only one nation that has a flag on the moon and that is the United States of America. There's much more that could be said but this is clearly speaking about the USA.
Interesting, creating... but can you make any further connections to the USA?

Instead:
I see that there are two women in Revelation 12:

Rev 12:5 "She gave birth to a son, a male child"

Rev 12:13 "the woman who had given birth to the male child.

A male child is Joseph, son of Rachel.
The male child is Jesus, son of Mary.

The land that is seen with the eye as rudiment of this corrupted creation are used as metaphors. The kingdom of God is not of this world never was never could be. We walk by faith the unseen

Like earthly Jerusalem as a shadow it represents the unseen bride of Christ the new Jerusalem not seen . All nations are used in that way.

The woman in Revelation 12 is the church or bride of Christ she is identified by a number no man could count 144,00O. The literal number is not revealed. We are not to number rather than walk by faith .

You know I love you posts, most of the time. But this sounds like British-Israelism nonsense. Maybe not quite the same, but the same error!

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Israelism

Definitely NOT a good support verse for America in the Bible!

I had no desire for a private convo. I want you to post publicly the verses that support this.

You do know that people who want to keeps things "secret" are usually in cults, right. One of the sure signs!

well it would be British Tarshish-ism, not Israelism. :p

i don't think that position i described takes the British empire to literally be displaced descendants of Tarshish, like some 'lost tribes' nonsense, so much as a 'type' in the same way Revelation 11:8 calls Jerusalem 'spiritually' Sodom & Egypt. it's an attempt to make sense of of Ezekiel 38, a prophecy yet to take place, given that most of the nations mentioned in it are not around anymore under the names they are mentioned by in that chapter.

i'm not going to put much effort into defending it, because i'm not sold on it myself - just mentioned it because it's something iv'e heard before that seemed a lot more plausible than the OP as a reference to the USA in the Bible, however oblique it might be.

is it better i actually post some interpretation, even if it's a weird one likely not right,
or is it better i make a handful of posts just to say '
i know the secret truth but i'm not going to tell' ?
