To understand why Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles, it will help to understand why Moses is the lawgiver, why the entire Law is summed up as the "Law of Moses", even though the Law was given by God.

Even Jesus himself referred to the Law as "The Law of Moses". As he is living under the law, he is also subjected to Moses. (John 5:46, Matthew 19:8, Matthew 23:1, 2, Mark 7:9, 10).

Moses authority has been challenged before by the Jews, who wanted to hear directly from God instead. In the famous story recounted in Numbers 12

And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

2 And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it.

3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

9 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them; and he departed.

Likewise, almost all of us are Gentiles here. We belong to the Church, and in this age of grace, Paul is our apostle, his importance is equivalent to Moses, as the lawgiver to the Jews.

Paul's words are the words of the ascended Lord Jesus to his Church, and we will do well to follow what Paul is saying, as instructed in 1 Corinthians 14:37

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
That was fun reading, thanks. One of the biggest reasons is what the Holy Spirit lifts the curtain between seen and unseen. We are at the cross and the Roman soldiers are nailing our Lord to the cross. Beat to heck and unable to do anything from here on except die. But wait a minute. The Jewish Carpenter has one more job and we can barely see it but there a hammer and four nails. What is going to bail? It was and is the Law. The Lord tells us what He has closed no one may open and what He opens no man may close. The Lord nailed the Law of Moses to His cross. In order to go under the Law you have to find the cross the nailed Law and pry it open.

There are many warnings none clearer than the story of Sarah and Hagar and their sons. We find that these two women represent two women one Hagar the other Sarah. Hagar had a son born in the natural way and his mother represents the Covenant from Mount Sinai and the children born under this. The covenant is a covenant enslaves the people under it. Mosaic Covenant produces slaves and this is important because the slave and His mother will never inherit what Isaac will. Isaac is the children born under grace represented by the Abrahamic Covenant, his wife Sarah, and Isaac picturing Jesus Christ getting the change. here are some of the counterfeit ways anti-Christ will as The Great Delusion is under way.

Yes, the Law of Moses was certainly nailed to the cross.

For us Gentile believers, just as Moses is considered as the lawgiver to all Jews, even when Jesus was walking on Earth, the Apostle Paul is our apostle (Romans 11:13), and we take our church doctrine from him, for this current age of grace.

1COR. 11:1.
Be you followers of Me, even as I also am of Christ. - the reason that Paul says this is because these are absolutely
'babies-in-Christ', - he is not 'usurping Christ, he is most certainly 'serving Him', he had the 'road of Damscus conversion!,
he is a most 'loyal-servant', he describes himself as the most evil-sinner among all men, and yet, Christ 'chose him', for
his 'mis-directed zealousness'!!! He loved him so much that He pointed and appointed him to become His most faithful
and powerful servant as His representative for ALL OF THE WORLD!!!
(Paul never disagrees with Jesus Christ), but Paul is difficult to 'understand'...
John 13:15, “For I (Jesus) gave you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”

1 Peter 2:21, “This is, in fact, what you were called to do, because Christ also suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in His steps.”

1 John 1:26, “The one who says that he abides in him must live the same way he (Jesus) himself lived.”

John 12:48, “He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day.”

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
The 12:

Acts 21:25, “But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.”

Paul:

1 Corinthians 10:25, “Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience.”

Matthew 28:19-20, “Therefore, as you go, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you each and every day until the end of the age.”

Peter was martyred in Rome about 66-68 AD, during the persecution under Emperor Nero. Origen says Peter was crucified, upside down at his request, because he did not feel he was worthy to die in the same manner as the Messiah.

Andrew went to the "Land of the Man-Eaters," in what is in modern times Russia. Christians there he was the first to bring the gospel to their land. He also preached in Asia Minor, modern-day Turkey, and in Greece, Patrae in Achaia is where he is said to have been crucified on an x-shaped cross he called to the crowds and taught them about Jesus Christ and how they might be saved, thus he was sharing the gospel up until the very time of his death.

Thomas was probably most active in the area east of Syria. Tradition has him preaching as far east as Edessa and India, where the ancient Marthoma Christians revere him as their founder. They claim that he died there when pierced through with the spears of four soldiers.

Philip possibly had a powerful ministry in Carthage in North Africa and then in Asia Minor, in Phrygia and died at Hierapolis. The tomb of the Apostle Phillip is found in Hierapolis where he converted the wife of a Roman proconsul, the proconsul had Philip arrested and cruelly put to death. He was impaled by iron hooks in his ankles and hung upside down to die.

Matthew the tax collector and writer of a Gospel, ministered to the Persians, Parthians, Medes and Ethiopians, he was staked or impaled to the earth by spears and then beheaded.

Bartholomew/Nathaniel had widespread missionary travels attributed to him by tradition: to India with Thomas, back to Armenia, and also to Ethiopia and Southern Arabia. There are various accounts of how he met his death as a martyr for the gospel. Most agree that he was basically flayed to death by whip, where he was literally torn to shreds, martyred in Armenia, he too must have been involved in the Great Commission and taking the good news into that part of the world. Apparently, he became a missionary to Asia Minor.

James the son of Alpheus, is one of at least three James referred to in the New Testament. There is some confusion as to which is which, but this James is reckoned to have ministered in Syria. The Jewish historian Josephus reported the James was thrown down from the temple by the scribes and Pharisees; he was then stoned, and his brains dashed out with a club.

James the son of Zebedee: He was beheaded by Herod Agrippa the 1st shortly before the day of the Passover, in the year 44 or about 11 years after the death of Christ. (Acts 12: 1-2)

Simon the Zealot so the story goes, ministered in Persia and he was was crucified after refusing to sacrifice to the sun god.

Matthais was the apostle chosen to replace Judas in fulfillment of prophecy (Psalm 69:25, 109:8). sentenced to death by the Sanhedrin and stoned.

When Matthias was already dead, the Jews, to hide their malefaction, cut off his head as an enemy of Caesar. According to several historians, the Apostle Matthias was crucified, and indicate that he instead died at Colchis, some even say he was burned.

Jude (Thaddeus): according to tradition Jude taught in Armenia, Syria and Persia where he was martyred by crucifixion. Tradition tells us he was buried in Kara Kalisa in what is now Iran.

John was imprisoned during Domitian's persecution in the middle 90's, he was exiled to the island of Patmos, were he was given visions and wrote the Revelation of Jesus Christ. He was later freed and went to Turkey, perhaps on a mission to establish churches there. John is the only one of the company generally thought to have died a natural death from old age between 90 AD to 120 AD. He was the leader of the church in the Ephesus area and is said to have taken care of Mary the mother of Jesus in his home.

I know you are convinced that the GC in Matt 28:19-20 is also telling the 11 to preach to the Gentiles. That is fine by me.

But if you want to reply to a post, at least discuss the topic in that post instead of changing it to another topic.

One good question you might want to address is, even though Jesus is God himself, why did he still mention Moses so many times where the Law is concerned?

A whole lotta "Christians" by/in love, already follow much of the Mosaic law. Relying solely on "love" in "the covering" of those sin/s of not following the Mosaic law.
To the point of not knowing, or (to some, as can be seen in this thread, not to mention Christendom in general) not even caring, nor getting them to acknowledge (at least) concerning those sin/s that love doesn't cover.
I agree the spirit guides people to walk in His ways:

Hebrews 10:16-17, " 16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,” 17 then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”

BUt I think sometimes there is also an appearance of love from those that do believe in the Commandments and those that don't. An appearnce that can fool other humans, but it can not fool GOd.

Hebrews 4:11-13, " 11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

I think this is shown in the wheat and tares parable:

Matthew 13:24-30, " 24 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

Jude
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
There's only one way that this can happen. When "love goes blind!" Which is the result of "lopsidingly beleiveing" love covers EVERY SHORTCOMING IN THE BOOK! And then some! As they make up even more ways of "coming up short!"
And then, go headlong into "vain and profane pursuits" trying to "further justify their alibi's" in doing so.

When this is pointed out to them? They get as "busy as a 1 armed paper hanger", in their trying to force their love in covering up these improprieties.
When they realize their love can't, and won't cover them? Do they ask themselves why this is so? Is there something in the "law" I am missing here? Or answer themselves like "I just need to go out and "love some more?"
"I mean, Jesus fulfilled the law!" Right?
This is around the time they start denying He who sent Christ!
"Jesus IS GOD!"
IF this were so? Why would there be any "seat" at the Right hand side of the Throne?
IF this were so? Who was the One sitting on His Throne, telling someone (who?), "Sit there at my right side until I make your enemies (as) a footstool?"
Yes this is a key verse concening this and I think the phrase " turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness" in light of loyal humans being the "chaste bride" and unloyal humans being the "harlot" I see this as people using mercy as an excuse to sin, thus why licentiousness/lasciviousness is used. Those who calim/do enter into covenant with God, yet constantly "cheat"

And your assessment, I think in many cases is correct, what I am getting from it is, many have made their own version of love that fits their own desires, completely missing everything the law says in love, everything that Jesus walked in thus making people naturally finding reasons to say Jesus is not their examplle or that Jesus teachings are not for them. Exactly, He did His Fathers will, at the right hand, in perfect agreement. SO how could people see it so differently? You go on to say it, they have a false Jesus or have rejected Jesus as their Shepherd. Hence the Jude quote.

Think it's easy "exposing" the "son of perdition?"
Ask the ones that don't want him exposed!
Take a ride on "their" merry-go-round! As they speed it up in their attempts to "throw you off!"
As the call for even more "1 armed paper hangers" goes out, trying to aid them in prying your fingers off his ride!
Reminds me of this:

Jeremiah 2:13-14, “For My people have done two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew out for themselves cisterns, cracked cisterns, which do not hold water.”

Here are 2 verses I can pont to why I think He did:

Malachi 4:1-6, " 1 “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. 3 And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the LORD of hosts. 4 “Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. 5 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. 6 And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”

Matthew 5:17-20, " 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

So to the Jewish believers, Moses is their spokesperson, one that Jesus himself acknowledged.

Thus to the gentile believers, Paul is our....?

You take things that I say the wrong way. It`s also interesting to note that you boast about how you will post when you disagree with me but you don`t like it when I disagree with you.
You don’t get it

When i disagree with you, i explain, in detail usually, even mentioning the word

When you disagree you petty attack like you did yesterday morning and its not just me you do this to.

Can you admit that the OT prophecies, fortold 70 AD? And that isreal would reject her king and be destroyed?

Or is that to hard to do?

I endorse what Paul told Timothy about it.

And the two gospels isn`t a theory, it`s just a simple literal interpretation of certain scriptures in the Bible. Belief in Paul`s gospel is anti legalist. It`s not a reasonable assertion to call someone who believes in Paul`s doctrine a judaizer.
Their is one gospel, not two

There were not two messages, their was one message proclaimed by different people to two different groups, paul said in gal 1 there was one message, if ANYONE teach another message they are to be accursed

(See, i did not just disagree, i explained what i see)

God isn`t through with Israel, He has a plan

35 Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:

36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

Old Testament prophecy predicts the rebellion of Israel but it says nothing about salvation of the Gentiles through the fall of Israel. Prophecy regarding Gentile salvation is always predicted in connection to the rise of Israel in the times of restitution of all things, also called the millennial rule of Jesus Christ by Christianity. These prophecies remain unfulfilled to this very day. But in the age to come God will fulfill all of his promises to his chosen people. These amazing prophecies give us a look at life on earth in the age to come. Here are some of them.

“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.” (Isaiah 11:10)

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.” (Isaiah 42:1)

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed. “ (Isaiah 61:1-9)

“But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever. And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.”(Micah 4:1-8)

“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.” (Zechariah 14:16-17)

There are many other Old Testament passages regarding the times of restitution, also called the millennium by Christians. I selected these passages to make the following points.1. His rest shall be glorious. 2.Gentiles will receive judgment at the end of this age and Gentile power will be destroyed. 3.The entire world will be ruled by Jesus Christ who will live in and rule from Jerusalem. 4.Israel will become the lead country of the world and all Gentile nations will live in hegemony with Israel. 4. Gentiles nations will be ruled by the laws of God and it is a continuation of the laws God has already made. It’s a book Jews call the Torah 5.The Jews will be made ministers of God in this period of time. 6. God will punish countries and people that do not obey his commandments. 7. Large, strong tribes will become small weak tribes. Small, weak tribes will become large, strong tribes. Some tribes and kingdoms will perish completely in the Gentile judgment. 8. Jesus is and always has been the Lord of Hosts.

Are you sure that Israel refers to the land and not the redeemed at Christ's return?

Further, Will the Kingdom of God be an earthly kingdom or is Christ preparing a heavenly kingdom?

Why do you think the law was written on our hearts if we do not need it? Did Jesus say that we don't need the law? When He gave the instructions to preach the gospel and teach people to obey whatever He commanded them, does that not include the 10 commandments which were summed up in this one rule: "love your neighbour as yourself"?
Why do you think paul called the law the ministration of death? Written in ston (can you name another set of laws given by God written in stone?)

Why do you think paul, moses and james declaimed that 1 sin is all it takes to be cursed forever by that law

And finally what do you think? That i think it is ok to sin? That is not what i have said or ever said

In the very same way, these dreamers pollute their own bodies, reject authority and slander celestial beings. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals—these are the very things that destroy them. Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion. These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, WITHOUT FRUIT and uprooted—TWICE DEAD. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. A Call to Persevere But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” THESE ARE THE MEN WHO DIVIDE YOU, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
Jude 1:8-19

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life John 6:63

“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man inquired. Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 19:17-19

And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. 1 John 3:23-24

There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:12

The Master's word/s is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

God is good and His Love endures forever. Amen.
Its like you do not read a word I say, every post you use pretty much the same scriptures, NON of which have any bearing on my argument, and i believe every one of them and hold them dear.

One question for you

Do you have any desire to even know WHAT i believe? Or do you wish to just keep hashing the same argument over and over, over a false perception of what i believe?

Yes, the Law of Moses was certainly nailed to the cross.

For us Gentile believers, just as Moses is considered as the lawgiver to all Jews, even when Jesus was walking on Earth, the Apostle Paul is our apostle (Romans 11:13), and we take our church doctrine from him, for this current age of grace.
The curse of the law was nailed

The law was fulfilled on the cross.

I have said that all along, not sure why you thought any different

You see Jesus did not fail, he spoke of all the times in the history of israel “how many times” he wanted to “take you under my wing” yet “they you unwilling” at this point (just as prophecies declared would happen) “it is hidden from you”

as I said I would, I dug through a lot of your posts, and I will apologize as you did not say what I thought you did.

while I do not agree with a lot of what you say, I was mistaken about what I thought you were saying.

The Jews were promised a land (Genesis 17:8), and it will be a physical kingdom where God promised he will be their King. (Jeremiah 23:5-6)
