On this thread we will all do our utmost to be serious. There will be absolutely no laughter. No giggling. No jokes. We will aspire to maturity. After all, maturity means being serious. And Im dead serious. Afte all these years on planet Earth Ive come to the conclusion that jokes and humour are for kids. adults dont need it.
And as Christians it is our duty to avoid humour at all costs.
We should never smile when reading the Bible. That is so disrespectful!
A recent study was done on seriousness. Serious people live longer. And serious Christians have longer eternal lives! Also serious people are more likely to have deep profound thoughts; a key to being a better Christian
So I welcome more serious posts on here so we can avoid the sin of jolliness.

Ive seriously lost my good" reputation by starting this thread. Who will respect me now? Am I leading all astray ? the snake in disguise? Am I promoting relativism? I always thought I had a relatively good sense of humour though.

Ok. What would you like on your epitaph? If you are being dead serious, what shall we sing at your funeral?
Cos we all gonna die one day right.

Im thinking Amazing Grace as everyone knows that one and you cant go wrong with it.

I'm not going to die. I'm going to live forever.

My funerary plans are to be cremated and scattered over the ocean in a huge display of fireworks. They do that now. Blend your ashes with firework powder. What a send off.
Friends will attend on a luxury yacht so they can watch and relax afterward in a cruise to an island or coastal U.S location I've not yet decided. There's still time.

Wait, what's that tickle
in the back of my throa....

The music of choice? "Turn The Page" by Bob Seger

And followed by, Wheel In The Sky, by Journey.

Followed by a montage of stand-up videos by George Carlin in the on-board theater room.
