Im not a fan of Tony Robbins but I remember his emphatic put down of someone complaining about boredom.
"Nothing is boring! Only you are boring!"

So i always second guess myself if I ever feel bored.
For Christians just pray when they get bored right?
I feel a lot less bored than when I was young. The young and the restless. 😂 How much of that was sexual tension I wonder.
Am I bored right now?
Maybe..more confused than bored.. I feel distant from JC. Lack of discipline or too much theology?
Cyber life. It gnaws away at you. I need to connect more in my "real" life. Easier said than I say in stout defence. 😁

Actually, I rarely experience boredom as I find most aspects of life interesting.

I learned an important lesson. When life seems boring, take a nap. You'll need your energy when life gets interesting again.

My dog taught me that.

Actually, ever since the invention of the time machine, people don't have much trouble with boredom any more. That little plastic rectangle can warp time like nothing else, and everybody carries one around these days.

Before smartphones:
MAN: "Honey are you ready yet?"
WOMAN: "Just a few minutes, I'm fixing my hair."

After smartphones:
WOMAN: "Come on dear, let's go."
MAN: *looks up from phone* "What, already?"

I don't want you to be restless, bored or distant in Christ, bro. I agree, maybe you do need to connect more in real life. You have ppl to love and care for waiting for what only you can offer. Lol, no pressure, haha. It is easier said than done, I get it. I too am going to work harder at doing just that myself.

Let's pray for each other brother and then get our there connect with other ppl. Have you considered volunteering at a food bank?

i accept the lonely label.
no one wants to admit they are. its like the elephant in the room. on the internet.
am i digging my own grave? are we all?
by choosing a virtual life over a real one?
the modern world. where fake and fiction are getting harder and harder to distinguish.
does our happiness become the image we create on social media?
i know my niece on facebook knows how to impress. is she the benchmark? should we all strive to be like her? post perfect photos of perfect people having perfect lives?

Psssst, it isn't all bad, and there are real ppl online and off, doing their best to be Christ centered. Think about stuff that brings you smiles, go for a walk, eat some comfort food, listen to some good music, find a good hardy laugh.

My family is torn apart we are a small group and its still fun but i am bored too. I could be calling my sister right now and share ideas and marvel at how brilliant we are. But she has another view right now. She didn’t have to be my sister to be my friend. We need reconciliation. I am really wasting my time. :/
