His is a looking-down-the-nose angle...I'm still trying to figure out your angle.![]()
Example: How do Believers do this - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37What do you believe the modern Church is preaching in place of the Cross? Believers already know that if works are mixed with Grace, they nullify Grace. Irrelevant because it is out of context.Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Gal. 5:4
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6I am confused as to how you think people here reject THE propitiation or do not live according to his finished work.
Certainly we are at different points in our own maturity (sanctification pretty sure) but some of the ways you react to posts I find somewhat troubling.
If you are here for ministry purposes and you seem to believe Paul an authority, does it not stand to reason to attempt to be to the "CC'ers" a "CC'er"
People have already said that based off the way you post you seem quite aloof and unrelatable. Pretty sure there was at least one post you replied to me about that caused me to think quite hard on something, but that was actually engaging.
I can't in any way engage with your heel catcher thread. Too much information, the bold sort of hurts my eyes. As well as different colors distracting focus. I prefer plain text. I don't even like red-letter bibles too much. I also find it strange when someone is "too authoritative". I think there are potential errors with that approach that I could discuss if you'd like.
Just a bit of feedback.
So hyper Lordship salvation (sinless perfection) and loss of salvation is your angle?Example: How do Believers do this - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37
No, please answer the question or anyone: How do Believers do this - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37So hyper Lordship salvation (sinless perfection) and loss of salvation is your angle?
I don't know but the process will probably start with a prayer. No, please answer the question or anyone: How do Believers do this - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37
Nowhere in Scripture is righteousness "awarded" in a way that allows subsequent hearing, seeing, and understanding.Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him; and He will shew them His covenant. Psalm 25:14
Righteousness must be awarded to hear, see, and understand!

Is there just one who can answer the question?mailmandan said: What do you believe the modern Church is preaching in place of the Cross? Believers already know that if works are mixed with Grace, they nullify Grace. I'm still trying to figure out your angle.
I am looking for just one person who has been awarded righteousness to answer the question: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37
How do we do this?
By asking this question, I am showing him what is being preached in the Church.
In your opinion, what would the preaching of the cross entail? I don't believe that you ever made this clear, at least not in a way that I could understand. What do you believe the modern Church is preaching in place of the Cross?
John 3:16-17 = Saved...but to us who are being saved it is the power of God? 1 Corinthians 1:18
Semantics. Placing your faith in Jesus is placing your faith in the fullness of Jesus. Why do 99% on CC will place their Faith in Christ, but not Christ and the Cross. Faith placed in Christ alone and not the Cross is another Jesus! Do you believe this?
I remember debating with a couple of individuals in the past on CC who attended the church of Christ and used the word “synecdoche” to teach that faith (the part) represents the whole (repent, believe, confess, water baptism, continued obedience) in order to justify teaching their version of salvation by faith + works.I learned a new word todayThank you! But I cannot pronounce it

The church never did believe that. Our faith in in Jesus Christ, not a piece of wood. Repent of your idol. The modern Church no longer believes the answer is found in the Cross of Christ, and only in the Cross of Christ.
