A few things off the top of my head...
-Trust and talk to God.
-Fixed your eyes on Jesus.
-Find your identity in Christ.
-Don't carry shame or guilt, allow God's forgiveness into your heart and take away the burden of shame and guilt.
-Surround yourself with God fearing, Bible believing, Jesus loving Christians.
-Take care of your body.
-Teach your child/ren biblical truth. Be an example of Christ through words and actions.
-Be gentle on yourself, challenges inevitably happen, God will hold you and guide you through them.
-Know your child/ren, likes, dislikes, triggers etc.
-Pray for godly mentors for a child if the opposite gender as you. (As well as same gender if you want) Sometimes a single mum may need help with certain things when raising their son and same for single dad's raising daughters.
-Let your yes be yes and your no, no. Too often I see parents give in because of tantrums.
Blessings.
I appreciate the adviceI do have a question, why do you say burden of shame and guilt? About what?
Oh ok, that makes sense. You're welcome.
Sometimes people can carry shame or guilt from a failed relationship or they feel they've let their child/ren down, they find it hard to cope. Probably other reasons but just can't think of any atm.

It's not easy as I raised my daughter alone. Try and have patience and love them while they are little, play with them if you aren't too tired, listen to what they want to tell you as they are only little once and grow up way too fast.
Thank you, these words here, that you have shared mean a lot to me. I love my daughter so much and I am constantly pleading the blood of Christ over her.Pray for your daughter without ceasing. I was saved when my son was 2. He was saved 2 years later. I pray for him constantly, and I have watched God answer those prayers. God values single parents and their children immensely.
Yes. A mother’s love for her children is powerful, and I believe God loves our children abundantly more than we can think imagine. You’re doing great mama!Thank you, these words here, that you have shared mean a lot to me. I love my daughter so much and I am constantly pleading the blood of Christ over her.

Avoid it!Advice on single parenting welcomed, anyone?
My daughter will be 40 her next birthday and she made it through a single parent raising. I know she appreciates the work it took to get her raised as she has said many times she doesn't know how I did it alone....with the cost and the work it took to do it...
God is your husband. I was a single mom for 15 years; my ex had court ordered no contact with the children. I only made it with God, financially, emotionally, mentally, etc. He knows your special needs and will not let you down. And strive to be in forgiveness for whatever wrong has been done to you.Advice on single parenting welcomed, anyone?

I can say after it is all said and done as in my case that my daughter and I are close and have had a great relationship for most of the time. I lost her somewhere between 14-16 as teenage girls usually think their moms don't know anything and that moms are a pain in the butt. After she grew out of that stage we have been in a good place.
I know that we would both do anything for the other if it was needed and she has been able to talk to me about most anything without fear of rejection from me toward her.
