I'm 32 and wouldn't mind being with someone that was a few years younger or older than me. Anything beyond a few years would be kind of pushing it....at least as far as I'm concerned.

The complete analysis is of course much more complex but I can't stick around to discuss it because I have a date.

Lol...

Well the dad (whom I mentioned in the earlier post) had been bringing his son with him on his route, so that's how the son started talking to me.

When I found out the son's Mom was only like 2 or 3 years older than me, uh... Game over. :)

That's even way too much for ME. o_O

By the way, Blackbeard, welcome to CC!!! Hope to see you joining in on the other threads as well. :)

Hey thank you, you seem full of fun stories thanks for sharing. This is a awesome forum

Do you have a preference either way? Those younger ladies or those cougs? 😂
My preference is for younger, but again, it depends on the individual. From what I've seen on dating sites, most of the older ladies who are single are within a year or two of retirement and looking toward freedom. I'm not there, and won't be for a while. I think it would be wiser to connect with a lady who is free enough for some adventures, but not expecting a lifestyle of leisure.

I totally hear you, Meg.

I had a doctor walk in at an appointment last year and thought I was 32.

Um... No, but thanks very much. 🤪

And, most days I have moments of acting about 5.
Lucky! I went to a church dinner with my best friend and one of the ladies asked her "Oh is this your mother? ". My friend is 51 years old! I am not vain but I don't think I look like I could have a 51 year old daughter. Sniffle.

I would be with a guy my age to probably 10ish years older, maybe a tad bit more. I couldn’t be with someone my parents age, that would be odd.

I also can’t picture myself dating a guy younger than me.

This was very helpful and informative... Made me see things in a different light.

light years....
If someone is in darkness Im not going to date them for what fellowship does light have with darkness?

I haven't done much thinking about this, but what I seem to think is something like close enough in age that it feels like a partnership between equals and not like I'm signing up to care of an old man who is deteriorating or mother a younger guy who doesn't know how to manage on his own. But that isn't necessarily a factor that's proportional with age alone. Generally I think 10 years either way would be my limit and I'd prefer to keep it within 5. Doesn't really matter if I'm not dating though.

No way, you look too young to have a 51 yr old daughter. Over here we have a spectacles franchise that sells glasses called "spec savers" Perhaps she needs to visit them 😁😁

My limits were not 10 years older or 1 year younger. I wanted to have things in common that we grew up with and could talk about. I don't think someone talking about horse and buggy's and cars a good match.... on the younger side because it takes guys longer to catch up maturity wise I didn't want to feel like I was raising them....

I had two younger guys want to date me one was 18 had a crush on me I was 33 and said no way.... the other was a friend of my daughter that we played games one night all together and I was nice like a mom is suppose to be and he took it for more and again I was no way.....

One older guy when I was in my 20's he was in his 40's I just couldn't do it.

I'm jokingly saying that of course, I mean it crossed my mind but I ain't no gold digger haha. I'd consider an older woman if we had a connection in terms of like interests and if she's taking care of herself physically that doesn't hurt either. Not too old though, there's limits lol
Yeah right....:sneaky:

Yes... agree.... in fact you've both helped me a lot really, because I've struggled with the fact I've been single for 9 years....and yet I'm sat here now thinking...' If my kids are grown and I have a lot more time and freedom I wouldn't want to be with someone who was way to busy for me because that would be boring and frustrating and just wouldn't work👌And the flip-side is also true: if I have been very busy bringing up kids, moving house etc, etc, then it would have been very unfair on someone else if they wanted time with me. 😃😁🙌💡Praise God...He knows what He is doing😊🙏🏻❤️
