I don't get it...

Now raccoons, yeah! Nothing better than barbecued raccoon. But squirrels?

This is ostensibly the singles forum. It has become the de facto chill place to hang out. Married people are welcome... as long as they don't go campaigning for the rest of us to get married, or try to play matchmaker, or slop ooey-gooey romance all over the place.
Too late. lol

That picture (which is what I used for my avatar, as it was the best looking lynx I could find on the internet) is of the eurasian lynx. That very article you screenshot says WE eat DEER.

And I do like me some deer summer sausage... and deer sausage... and ground deer and deer steak and mmmmmm deer chili can not be beat!

Are you telling me that you’re the one who ate Rudolph?

Did you not see my "NEW Christmas music" thread?

Can anybody recommend any Christmas music that is not the same old songs we hear every year?

I'm already going to have a holly jolly Christmas, we don't have a real tree to rock around, I'm not going anywhere that I will be home for Christmas from, and last year uncle Brent shot Rudolph and we had Rudolph chili. Next?

Will there be actual food at this party, or just treats? There's nothing worse than showing up hungry, and finding that you should have had a sandwich (or two) beforehand.

Of course I'm arriving late to this shin-dig (my invite must of gotten lost in the mail - yes, I still rely upon snail-mail)...
But I love Christmas and while I am interested in meeting and putting faces to all of these "amazingly honest, and gracious, sometimes outspoken and opinionated - but always loving, caring and giving of advice CC'rs"...

So in an effort to fit in and make friends - I've brought some Ice-Breaking party games...

Actually nobody mentioned the source of the food at all... Is this potluck, everybody bring something? Or is seoulsearch organizing the food and everybody chip in money to cover it? Or is this a CC sponsored event?

If it's potluck, my rule of thumb is to bring the kind of food I would want to see there. That way if nobody else brought anything I want to eat I still have something to eat, and if there are leftovers I will be happy taking them back home.

But to the party at hand... if it's potluck I'll be bringing hot ham and swiss sandwiches on sourdough bread.

Ah, the joy of Christians gathering together. This could be a whole thread in itself ("When Christians Don't Get the Food They Want at Christian Get-Together and the Riots that Happen.")

We are definitely having a potluck. There's no way I would ever try to guess at or take requests for what everyone wants, expects, or can/can't have! This way everyone can bring something they can have and would like (even if it's boxed mac and cheese -- I'd actually have some of that!)

Hush, Lynx. Not a word. Everyone is allowed to have their own preferences!

Footing a bill and then asking people to chip in NEVER seems to go well (at least not in my experience), and at least with a potluck, there is never any danger of running out of food.

(Plus, I sadly missed out on a pie-baking contest a few months ago, and I'm still looking for something to fill that multiple-pie-sized void in my heart.)

I predict the married people will be here and chiming in lol. Ohhh... I wonder how many I offended lol. Now I have no problem with married people in a singles forum as long as they state their relationship status! They have wonderful and valuable input as well! :) I have not read this 10 page post yet and will get to it shortly. I've barely had any time to read. It's amazing how fast some posts can contribute in a day or two. Just goes to show how great Seoul's posts are!
