I cant read what you write anymore, your disqualified. Are you just proclaiming youreself. Jesus is not yourself. If would meet you i would beat you up to expose that tou cant turn the other cheek and are teaching others to do the same. But thankfully will never meet you and there is still hope for us.
I have never read a post where @dcontroversal ever even came close to equating himself with Jesus, quite the opposite, so you are in some kind of WAY OUT THERE..... alternate reality on that slander.

You know there is a lot of ego in this post, "I would beat you up"... which is very ironic and sad.
You need to come to terms with the fact that your good works do not save you... a lot of ego in that belief as well... more irony.

What did he say that merited this response? There was nothing offensive in the post you replied to.
People who want to earn their salvation get offended and are triggered... why because if hurts their pride.

1st Peter 1 : 1- … to those who through the righteousness our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours..

you see, this is why I speak against what you do, the wicked practice of isolating Scripture and building theology around isolated verses, taken out of context.

and, by the way, all your empty lies and threats about a losable salvation does not work on anyone who knows Scripture.

GB9 your above scripture is mis-referenced. Its not 1 Peter 1 but rather 2 Peter 1.
Your quote does not contradict 2 Peter 5-10 either.

2 Peter 1
1 Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

2 Peter 1
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control [d]perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither [e]barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

So lets look at your verse (because you believe that God does everything and we do nothing). Are you going to blame God then for what is said in verse 9 if God doesn't do this for you? Why do you think verse 9 is there? For God to remind himself?
Then look closely at verse 10. It gives a clue as to the response required from you.

John 15
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
- we Abide in Him
-He supplies all we require

John 15
10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

What page Number? And which verse in 1 Peter 1?

Don't you know that all verses in the Bible on similar or identical subjects are RELEVANT to each other. AND you cannot use one verse in a way that would CONTRADICT another verse on the SAME SUBJECT. EXCEPT when O.T. LAW is Superseded by N.T. Grace. You made the MISTAKE in Interpretation, NOT GOD MADE THE MISTAKE.
Of Course You Do Not Know That ! ! !

Why do you think controversial is in his name? I've been familiar with him for close to two years now. He loves to debate and means no harm.
More rather he defends the simple Gospel without hesitation.. the perceived harm is by those who cannot accept the truth because they are unwilling to humble themselves.

You think I'm replying to the post, I'm replying to the person, and you can be sure, is unable to turn the other cheek, neither am I when confronted with tgose who think they are right and despise others; and if God wants to discipline someone, He will and doesent need my help. But as far as I know, He only disciplines those He Loves.

no, 2nd Peter ( my mistake on that earlier) is a letter, ,meant to be read as one.

and, if you do so ( well, not you, you refuse to use context), but if others do so, they will see v.11 , which states that " you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal Kingdom..

it does NOT say these things are required for entrance , nor does it say that one will NOT be welcomed if they stumble.

Peter, as he said, wrote these true instructions for the reader to heed and not stumble,. not so some Bible thumper like you could threaten others with a fake loss of salvation based on these verses , which by no means do that..

is unable to turn the other cheek,
This is not applicable to the situation at all.

What does turning the "other cheek" have to do with defending, upholding and contending for the Gospel?

You know "stillness" I am not sure if you are self taught or what the deal is ....but you have been told the Gospel several times and yet you still come back with your works that save... why is that?

well, that could be because he and any who think that works are necessary to maintain salvation are choosing the broad path, not the narrow path that belief in Christ only saves, not a belief that includes me, that is the broad path of religion that leads to destruction..

There is no work involved in your "believe and recieve " doctrine?

Believing in something is a choice, you choose or make a decision to believe, that's doing something yourself by engaging your will. That is work!

That is very true but he seems to enjoy doing it. Those who oppose him act like hard heads on the surface but they are actually snowflakes who can't stand criticism. He laughs at them and they get offended. I think sometimes he has a little too much, but he's telling the truth which is the most important. Yes we're talking about you @dcontroversal . Keep up the good work!

There is no work

Faith / Belief is definitely not a choice .. and not an act the the will.
For instance one cannot force themselves to believe something unless they are persuaded... being persuaded, convinced is not an act of your will ... it is passive.

Sister, few can read between the lines. I am aware the Lord told me: Your not ready. To meet Him face to face, that is. You give me the impresion that beleiving in your understanding is what is required to be saved, like orhers here and like miself years ago. One thing the Lord told me then: Your going to fall that you may learn to continuallly repent. This fall from Grace is to humble us and free us from pride of achievment. To see someone saying not by works out of pride of achievment is seeing someone saying they cant be saved in their present condition. " But if we would judge ourselves we would not be judged."
