Faith without the works of the law are dead . We are saved by the perfect law of God. And not in part but the whole. The letter of the law it kills pronouncing all men guilty before God . But the law of faith the unseen makes it complete .Give it power to quicken ones soul giving us simple ones his understand as well as other works.

Romans 3:26-28 King James Version (KJV) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Christ accomplished the multiple deeds of the law as a unseen work. .

Psalm 19:7-11 King James Version (KJV) The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Where did I put down the law? By quoting Scripture concerning it's impotency in bringing about righteousness?
Of course the law needs to be emphasized to the unbeliever in hopes they will see their sinfulness and cry out for a Savior.
Instead of praising God for the order and beauty of the law you are pointing to the negative of the law. You could at least point to the power and glory of God that He forgives. we cannot use the law to compare ourselves to Him. Parading that we can't earn by our efforts what God gives us gets disgusting in it wallowing in self. It is hiding away the beauty of being a Christian and living through Christ, for that means we accept the beauty of Christ's righteousness and the law.

Repeating over and over that you can't even if it is true is ugly. You CAN live with Christ in your heart, you CAN live righteously through Christ, when God is for you nothing can prevail against you.

Proclamation of unpleasant truth is as much a part of the Christian life as praising God for the good things. It is unreasonable to criticize a brother for speaking the truth about the Law. I'm sure you don't want to be known as a faultfinder.

Given the date, I'll wish you a pleasant celebration of the Incarnation of our Saviour. :)

The Righteous must be aware of legalism. Telling other Righteous Saints what to do, but not explaining how to do the what to do! All things must always be done by Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Finished Work at Calvary Cross, i.e., "The Blood of Jesus" (this is called the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus - this is how the Holy Spirit works;
JOHN 14 [15] If ye love me, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.[16] AND I WILL PRAY THE FATHER, AND HE SHALL GIVE YOU ANOTHER COMFORTER, that he may abide with you for ever;[17] Even THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.[18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.[19] Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.[20] At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.[21] HE THAT HATH MY COMMANDMENTS, AND KEEPETH THEM, HE IT IS THAT LOVETH ME: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I WILL LOVE HIM, AND WILL MANIFEST MYSELF TO HIM.

So how did you receive the Holy Spirit

When it is difficult for any who claime to believe God to obey His ten commandments as best as they are given to be able to do, that person does not have the law on their heart. As for the law of the Holy Spirit, that would be having the law on the heart, which means there is law to obey. Jesus really does explain it all and just how…......Deliberate disobedience is akin to witchcraft……..If a abeliever has not yet learned this, he or she must endeacor to learn . It truly is a joy to obey our Father.........never a task.

[20] At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Reminds me of the following:

Kinda ironic they refute that the LORD formed man from the dust of the ground, maybe one day they will see that the life isn't in the stars but in the Light.

Well, it is written, "...for he who comes to God must believe he is..." so if one considers 'the law' to be a requirement then wouldn't the law of truth require one to believe in the existence of God before they could attain righteousness?

And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Gen 15:4-6
The reason why so many work at the law is because they know there is a God.

But that is not the way to attain Righteousness, or obedience to God. That is just what all carnal people think.

The key to Righteousness is in the part that you DIDN'T quote.

"And that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him"

Rewarded with the gift of Righteousness. The gift of Salvation.

Th name, Adam, may be translated das earth, specifically red earth. The word, dam, means blood for blood is red. It also means red. Repeating the word, it means dark red, dam dam. If I am not mistaken, Adam may also be interpreted as dust.

Ergo when Jesus declares Himself a son of Adam, He has saying the sone of Man for Adam may be interpreted as man…

The reason why so many work at the law is because they know there is a God.
That and knowing it will make them free who receive it.

In the verse it is written, "..for he who comes to God must believe he is and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him." If a person 'must believe' he is in order to come to him then that would obviously indicate that God didn't come to them. And a person 'must believe' he is then that would obviously indicate they didn't have any actual knowledge of God's existence.

Therefore seeing that it written,
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. 1 Thess 2:13
it is obvious some men don't place any value in the gospel.

But that is not the way to attain Righteousness, or obedience to God. That is just what all carnal people think.
Right, the carnal mind is not subject to the law of truth, neither can it be for it is enmity with truth so the carnal minded seek to obtain their own righteousness the same way they obtain their own faith, by hearing the doctrines of men. Hence, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Son of God, thus man does not live by the scriptures alone but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: Mal 2:6

The key to Righteousness is in the part that
"And that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him"
you DIDN'T quote.
The reason I didn't quote that he is a rewarder of those who come to him is simple, how does someone find something they don't have any knowledge of? "The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors." Prov 26:10

That verse in Hebrews is referring to believers.
This verse is referring to non believers...
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Actually, the thread title is click bait to draw in the legalists to present their case so they can be exposed. Thanks for taking the bait. Now that you are here, can you show us how one can attain righteousness through the law???

Actually, it was written out of a desire to reach young Christians being swept away by the swill of many legalists that are teaching 'law keeping' as a means of righteousness. (Notice I said 'means of' not 'fruit of').

And yet, I know of nobody teaching that the law is our means of righteousness. That is just what others claim. Everyone agrees it is grace that saves us. So, why accuse?

[13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
When you have believe false doctrine all your life it is hard to see the truth . a lot of false doctrine came out of the catholic church in the dark days , or in Huss day.

We need to attain righteousness all right But we do that by the faith in JESUS. By faith we can put away sin.
