I didn't know that the scriptures only talk about salvation for adults who are capable of repenting. To me, it is very simple; the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Your doctrine on salvation doesn't answer questions on salvation, so it is easy to dismiss it. On one hand you say repentance and believing the gospel is the only way a person can be saved, yet you still believe there are people (children and other special groups) who don't believe the gospel and don't repent but are still saved. this is a contradiction.
No contradiction at all. If repenting and believing the gospel is the only way to be saved, but someone is incapable of doing so, how can they be held accountable? I leave that up to a fair, just God. In regards to mentally handicapped people, I've seen them at church praising God during worship, so how do you know where their heart is even if they come across with poor communication and appear to be dumb and clueless? The lamb of God does take away the sins of the world, but that does not mean that everyone will "automatically" be saved and inherit eternal life (John 3:18) so your doctrine is easy to dismiss.

So if you were standing at the gates of heaven right now and Jesus Christ asked you why He should let you into heaven, what would be your exact answer?

Remember Jesus, you elected me to be here. Check the book please. My name was there from the foundation of the world. Please check the book.:p

"So if you were standing at the gates of heaven right now and Jesus Christ asked you why He should let you into heaven, what would be your exact answer?" we know what will happen thanks to the scriptures, we won't be asked such questions but everyone will be judged according to what they have done on earth.

How? What other way?

Yes, we have another means of getting saved, the one by which children are saved.
Do you mind explaining how children are saved?
Children are saved by being sinless before God. We must be sinless before God. How does one who has sinned become sinless? Trust the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Noose likes to play game. :cautious:
You failed to answer a simple question on salvation but that was not even my main point.

What i wanted to know is, if children are eternally saved, then that salvation should also apply to their adulthood until their deaths coz salvation can not be lost according to you. Right? So also repentance and believing the gospels as adults doesn't apply at all.
This is a conundrum on your side.

So at what age do children lose this eternal salvation?

Repenting and believing the gospel is the only way to be saved. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Infants do not change that just because they are incapable of choosing to repent and believe the gospel. Your answer to my question confirms what I have suspected all along — works salvation. :(

When they sin. They must understand good and evil. The sin nature in a person will eventually choose to sin against God. There is no certain age.

If repentance and believing the gospel is the only way to the Father (salvation) but children get to the Father without repenting and believing the gospel, then they are not the only way to the Father. Why don't you listen to yourself.

So a person loses their eternal salvation when they understand good and evil and also sin.

A child is no longer without sin when they understand good and evil and choose to sin. They have lost their status of being sinless before God. It's only eternal salvation for a child if they die before they sin. This is not a hard concept.

It seems hard for you because if salvation is eternal and never be lost, then even if a child sins they will not loose it. The idea that a person has to do something to get this salvation is also not palatable.

I live the Sermon on the Mount. Made a career out of it that paid all my bills. You have to learn something from Jesus doing this.
so deceived

religion is also very lucrative for the Catholic church

@mailmandan

I see, can't answer, wont answer. How can a doctrine on salvation fail to answer a question about salvation, if it is true?!;)
It is not for men to decide who is saved and who is not.

It is Gods Work.

Its basically impossible for one person to know definitively if someone, other than themselves, is saved or not saved.

Yet as a man, i know that infants are saved, how can you not know that.
