He already knows who is saved and who is not. This is for the benefit of us so we know if we are ready to stand before him at the coming Judgment.

Are you ready?
Or are you depending on a faith that has no works attached to it to save you?
James calls that 'dead faith'--the faith that can not save.
It can't save because it's not really faith in God. If it was it would be alive and have works attached to it.

How do you become a sheep?

How are you DEEMED righteous?

You falsely suggest these verses mean that Jesus will JUDGE US BY OUR WORKS TO SEE IF WE ARE SAVED.....

No.....

the goats and sheep are sorted already....

Show us in the passage these sheep who don't have works of righteousness.

What a wonderful gift from our Creator. Salvation provided through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are worthy of zero, nada. But God in His mercy, gave us one more chance.
