Jesus minister of circumcision

Acts 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Ephsians 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Romans 15:
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Matthew 10:5-6
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The sign nailed to the cross said "King of the Jews" Our Lord and Savior.

Zechariah 14:9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

There are churches that teach through the Bible.

Matthew 26 tells about Jesus sending the apostles to the nations.

Not understanding your conclusion? Something may not be being taught because it isn't sound doctrine. Or not in line with congregational interpretations. Or important enough to feed salvation seeking sinners within 1 hour a week services. Or your progressive church is habitually only teaching feel good and politically correct (to the progressives that is) scripture.

Maybe just ask why your church doesn't teach whatever conclusion you felt wasn't being taught.

There are many churches out there who love to preach from the 4 Gospels, as instructions to their congregation.

It will be hard to continue to do so, if they mention these verses to their congregation too.

Because those passages are partial passages ripped violently from their context inorder to abuse the true doctrine.

I hope you're ready for what follows.
What follows is to inform the poster that he needs to study the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation and then RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH.

1. Christ was fully under the Law until His crucifixion. But He came to fulfil the Law.

2. Even while He was on earth, Christ ministered to the Gentiles, and His first converts were Samaritans (semi-Gentiles), not Jews. Indeed His first worshipers were Gentile magi, probably from either Persia or Arabia.

2. The Old Covenant was finished when He cried "IT IS FINISHED". The veil in the temple was therefore torn from top to bottom.

3. The Church (Jews and Gentiles in one Body) began on the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon all flesh. Firstly Jews were saved, but shortly thereafter Gentiles were added.

4. There is no distinction between Jews and Gentiles within the Body of Christ.

5. The Old Covenant has been abolished and replaced by the New Covenant, ratified with the blood of Christ.

6. While the cross identified Jesus of Nazareth as "King of the Jews", He will come as King of kings and Lord of lords at His Second Coming. And after the Millennial Kingdom is established, Zechariah 14:9 will become a reality.

Well the Four Gospels are for Christian doctrine as much as the epistles. There are only a few instances when the focus was on obedience to the Law of Moses (such as the temple tax). However, if preachers fail to preach from the whole Bible, they are being negligent and will give account.

I don't give them that much credit. This is no misinterpretation. This is the work of a snake intentionally misrepresenting scripture.

Yes, they should teach the whole bible, but that does not mean they don't rightly divide the word of truth.

They should treat the 4 Gospels as more like the OT, instead of placing special emphasis on "the words in red".

This is subjective and not universally accepted. If the Gospel of the Kingdom was being preached in early Acts, just like the 4 Gospels, you cannot conclude that the Body of Christ began at Acts 2.

Welcome, again rhern.

What if the one advising doesn't rightly divide? Is it not the Holy Spirit that leads us to understanding rather than man.

This is subjective and not universally accepted. If the Gospel of the Kingdom was being preached in early Acts, just like the 4 Gospels, you cannot conclude that the Body of Christ began at Acts 2.
But the Gospel of the Kingdom was being preached by Christ at the beginning of His ministry, and also by Paul at the end of his ministry (in the last chapter of Acts). So that is a fallacious argument.

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. (Acts 28:30,31).

We need to see that the Kingdom of God and those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ are inseparable.

1. Christ taught (in the Gospel of John) that only those who were born again would enter and see the Kingdom of God. And that the New Birth was an absolute necessity.

2. Christ also taught that during the Church Age, the Kingdom of God is within you.

3. In order for the New Birth to take place, the gift of the Holy Spirit was a necessity. Therefore He was poured out on the day Pentecost, and every believer was born again when he or she received the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2).

4. When Peter went to the home of the Gentile Cornelius, all Gentile believers also received the gift of the Holy Ghost. But because of the Jews there, they were also caused to speak in tongues supernaturally (Acts 10).

5. The Bible says that while Christ is the one who baptizes (immerses with) the Holy Ghost, it is the Holy Spirit who baptizes (immerses into) the Body of Christ those who have received the gift of the Holy Spirit: For as the [human] body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one [human] body, being many, are one [human] body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one Body [the Body of Christ], whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

6. Thus Jews and Gentiles were placed into the Body of Christ on the day of Pentecost, and shortly thereafter. And also ever since. And the distinction between Jew and Gentile was abolished at the same time: For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Gal 3:27,28)

Now while Paul brought out these teachings much later, the spiritual reality of these truths was already there shortly after the crucifixion of Christ.

As I have said, the dispute is over what exactly was the Gospel of the Kingdom.

I understand you believe its all the same, whatever Jesus and the 12 preached is what Paul also claimed to be preaching under the secret revelations he got from the ascended Christ (Galatians 1:11-12).

Okay, I know you won't change your mind, so we can agree to disagree here.

The above statement reeks of bias and also in very sly way casts doubt on Paul and the words he was inspired to write......Pitting Jesus against Paul is pitting Jesus against Jesus <--this is satanic and not of God!

Welcome. :)
I hope you're ready for what follows.
Off OP topic, if you feel the need to personally attack me, please don’t do via a long winded rambling post. You need to learn to conduct yourself in a mature and decent way my friend.
