Yes. Even your KJV does. You’re just too blind to see them.
In your opinion, we don't have access to the word of God because the word of God does not contain errors. You should never use the phrase, word of God.

In your **not so humble** opinion. I’m leaving this dumpster fire thread. Good bye!

We don’t eat His flesh. That’s cannibalism. That’s also RCC heresy.
I agree in part, we don't eat his literal flesh. I believe every word in the bible is exactly right and means exactly what it say's. If the bible says we are to eat the body of Christ then that's exactly what it means, we are to eat his body.

The only question is, WHICH body do we eat, his literal body or his spiritual body. In this case it's obviously referring to his spiritual body and that spiritual body is the word of God.

Ok now that you've said that you believe that all bibles have mistakes, now you can answer my question. Where does the doctrine that the word of God corrupts (has mistakes, is inaccurate) come from?

Unfortunately you've crossed paths with one who likes to sew confusion with nonsense babble. That's why I gave up engaging with him.

Joh_16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

The comforter is the Holy Spirit and he didn't come until Christ left. The Comforter wasn't in the prophets, he hadn't been given at that time.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Psalm 51:11

Is that talking about The Holy Spirit or is it talking about the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of God? Any spirit of God is holy. That's what makes the bible so much fun, trying to piece together the true meaning from other scripture.

Compare that with Jesus telling the disciples that the Holy Spirit couldn't come until he left. We all have to draw our own conclusions from that. I don't believe the holy spirit in Psalm 51:11 is the Comforter. In my mind it goes against other scripture.

1Sa 16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

A couple of things that I see are one, I don't believe Saul was ever a convert. Also when the Spirit of the Lord left Samuel it went to David and David had ALWAYS been a convert even in his days with Bathseeba.

God never takes away his mercy from his people even if they do wrong, he chastens and corrects his own. Also, those that are not his people never receive the Holy Spirit.

2Sa 7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
2Sa 7:15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

In my opinion Saul never was a man of God even though at times he appeared to be. I do think that God blessed him with attributes that helped him govern God's people but those things were given for the sake of the people, not for Saul.

There are many translations and revised versions of Bible’s(NIV, Amplified, King James, Living Translation, AS). Did any of these lose essential Biblical meanings and teachings via the translation process? If so, which ones? If true, should those versions be avoided by Believers?
I believe the Holy Spirit can use many translations to show us everything He wants us to see. I bet some translations are better than others and easier to find the original message in. (and I wouldn't be surprised if some translations were made with out right false information being put in)

I personally like the kvj the most but I know mature believers who prefer the nasb and the niv....

not sure of which bibles should be avoided all together...

The verse below came up earlier in this thread. The NASB calls the Spirit of Christ a "he", indicating a person. The KJV calls the Spirit of Christ an "it", indicating that it's not a person.

One is obviously wrong but how do we determine which one is right?

1 Peter 1:11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
11 [a]seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories [b]to follow.

1 Peter 1:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

To me it is semantics.

The Holy spirit is God and one with God and a witness of himself/itself.

If both translations can get us believers to understand how He helps us I am not sure the He or It matters so much.

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

This is KJV translation and I think we would both agree that the KJV is still clear that the Holy spirit is God and He/It is our teacher as well.

I agree the Holy Spirit is God but I think the Spirit of Christ is the word of God. Thank you for your answer, I was curious as to how you saw it.

How do you understand the following verses?

Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

How can something non-personal be "vexed" or "grieved"?

I"m not saying that the Holy Spirit is a non-personal "it". He is personal, he's God. I'm saying that the Spirit of Christ is not the same thing as the Holy Spirit.
