In some circumstances the workers can indeed fire someone by providing pertinent documentation and presenting it to someone that has the authority to fire said individual.
depends on how big the organsiation is. If its just one man and his dog, who is the head of HR sorry mate you outta luck.

ive worked in female only dominated environment and male ones. the male ones can sometimes be harder to deal with sometimes. The thing is you dont really want to be the snitch but if its affecting your work and stopping you from doing your job then you have to be. Ive encountered it more that males in question were actually really lazy and expected females to do most of the work that they ought to have been doing, cos we are often seen as 'the help' , and that gets abused.

my confession today is that Im not really that loyal to any one fellowship. I often go to two or more churches. I dont join up with just one and stay there forever, I float around, like a casual. I cant be a fully paid up member of just one ALL the time. it would be like being married.

is this bad? Or a blessing.

I guess that's OK as long as you keep your boat in the same lake.

My confession is that I was trying to go a whole day without making metaphor out of fishing.

The bible does not say that you should stay forever in a single church but only that you should not forsake the assembling together on like-minded spiritual individuals. I understand however the being married reference but unlike marriage you are free to go elsewhere if you feel in your heart that it would be in your best spiritual interest. Regarding being loyal my sense is, based on your post history and forum decorum that you are loyal to God and that is a very good character reference to have.

I have to confess that sometimes I come up with what would probably be pretty funny replies to some threads but I don't post them.

I post too much..then I think of something else to say, and my time expires so I just add another post. some people want me to shut up, but I have to let it out. If I dont, my brain would probably explode.

Some people cant handle someone elses reality and probably live in sheltered lives. But I think writing is as therapeutic as anything and its better than going at the world with your fists or starving yourself or eating too much or making jokes or whatever it is people do to avoid confessing. Its what stops people from reporting abuse to the police and keeps them in chains.

another thing is, I leave in spelling mistakes and typos sometimes, cos Im real like that. You dont always get things right, and God knows we are imperfect creatures He is in the process of perfecting. If I can accept that in myself, and God knows all about it, then other peoples judgements dont matter.

My life is going to be a testimony to Jesus. Thats all that matters. So I will be as open as I want to be. I want all the healing God can give me. Cos nobody can fix me, except for Him.

James 5:6 Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for each other that you will be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much

I agree with you that writing can be therapeutic. What you said about accepting yourself and that if God knows about it then other people's judgements don't matter was the subject of my daily devotion tonight. Actually, I am in full agreement with your entire thought provoking post. I always enjoy reading your posts.

I was at my local super Walmart at 7 am this morning. I scored a can of WD 40 and a can of Bar Keeper's Friend powdered cleanser. Oh yeah, 6 cans of Friskies too for Tango and Sugar. Seems like I never have enough stuff.

Mine's a super walmart too. It's always packed during normal hours because it's by far the biggest nicest walmart in this area. I was pleasantly surprised how empty it was this morning. I've never gone this early before. I had to stock up on diet soda. I was out and I'm pretty much addicted to it. It's my 'coffee' :giggle:

Any beverage with caffeine in it can't be all bad. Darlene's favorite pop is Cherry Coke Zero. I really don't drink much pop but I do enjoy an occasional Mt. Dew (with sugar).

I was reading this book called Silent Boy by Torey Hayden.
It was about a 15 year of boy who didnt speak to anyone for years and would just rock and rock and hide under tables.
Torey was a pyshcologist/social worker who drew him out. It turned out he didnt speak because of a trauma in his childhood, he witnessed his stepfather murdering his sister and his mum just stood by and did nothing.

I cant imagine how horrible that must have been. He was then put into various foster homes and insitutionalised. he then trusted Torey enough to speak and atarted talking again since she kept visiting him and offering unconditional love. At the end of the book hes 18, can speak and seemingly living a normal life in group home, going to school, making friends.

THat book made an impact on me. I wonder what this boy (called himself Bryan in the book) is doing now if hes ok and found God. I hope so.

He may or may not have found God but it is certain that God found him.

Wow!! That’s quite a story, poor guy. It’s amazing what love can do.

It’s so sad that there is so much trauma these days.

Thank you for sharing.

@zeroturbulence I was "spiritually ill" as well for the past few days and today God healed me through a brother in Christ / dear friend of mine... God is so faithful and He is willing and able to help you "recover"! Is there anything in particular that's causing you trouble?

As for a confession... Well, it's 2:57 am so I suppose the "midnight" part is fulfilled, haha.

I still sometimes struggle with feeling lovable, especially in a romantic sense. Well, it seems to be going deeper, as I do struggle with believing God loves me at all times but it's been getting better. These days I can almost always believe and trust that He loves me. But there are some days where I lose sight of that truth and fall into doubt / condemnation and it can become a downward spiral.

But when it comes to "human love" that's where I still have a lot of insecurities. My physical appearance is very flawed and I am often concerned that I won't be beautiful enough for a potential husband. I experience unease and even shame when I think about being completely open and "exposed" in someone else's presence and that causes some intimacy issues. Even with friends I have a hard time opening up. For instance, crying in front of someone is still a huge challenge to me and although I know it could be helpful, it makes me feel ashamed and uncomfortable.

Um that was kind of a messy and scattered confession lol. But there you have it.
