P_R, absence of a lot of things, makes my heart grow fonder of those things. But absence of God in my life leading me as I follow would be the death of me. I am so glad for 'that' reason to live. Who wants to die? The fear of death is in us. The only one who cn defeat our fear is the love of Christ in our hearts. The moment of death is full of joy with the of our heart is filled with everlasting life through Jesus Christ.

I am not so sure that atheists have great angst when they die, they probably just think they die and don't feel any Hellish pain locked inside a casket with only the occasional visit (tormenting?) while alive forever there-eyes wide open -inside that dank, dark place.
Not being glib or facetious am I ?
I don't mean to, I am just saying what I think an atheist thinks of that moment in our lives that we pass from life to death.
While on this subject, I love Corinthians scripture that says , To be out of our earthly body (experiencing death) is to alive be with Christ.
