I believe what my Father told me.

"
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and The Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. ..."
The Book of John chapter 1 (Audio of John 1)
Footnotes
- John 1:4 Or was not any thing made. That which has been made was life in him.
God is a title, not a name. A designation. God's names are in the Old Testament, and God is actually Holy Spirit who begat Himself upon Mary whom He highly favored in His grace, as He did for us when delivering His Good News of Salvation by His grace through our faith in Him. Mary was the first of us saved by Gods grace so as to deliver the Son of man,
ben-'adam . (ben=-son).
Jesus, to be called, Emmanuel, meaning "God with us" , was born to bring the new covenant/testament to the world that all who hear may be saved from their disobedience unto the words of God and His law, by faith.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, that which is born
of the spirit is spirit. Emmanuel was both flesh and spirit. God in flesh. No one could look upon Holy Spirit God and live, as we're told in scripture. Emmanuel bridged that truth because He so loved the world that He arrived born of woman, so as to appear as one of us, and deliver the greatest gift ever told.
Amen!
As I recall there are rules or a statement of faith for this forum wherein the Trinity is upheld. I'd wonder if the contrary doctrine is able to be freely discussed so that we who may participate in this thread do not do a disservice to that statement, and risk being called out if we are not Trinitarian. It is a matter of respect I think for the community organizers and their beliefs.
For my part I write when I speak of my Father, Gods, so as to incorporate my belief in God as one, and respect those who believe my Father is three separate and distinct persons, Triune.
Maybe we should find out if non-Trinitarians would disappoint the Triune faith statement here if we do participate from that avenue.
