Interesting question: According to scripture alone, what is "the Lord's day" (Revelation 1:10)?

It is the goal of the false gospel to worship shadows used in ceremonies as a picture to the world. The ceremonies were not designed for what the eyes see unto themselves but looked ahead for us . They received the end of their new born again faith from the beginning just as us. They looked ahead to what the shadows represented. We look back to the same shadows as shadow observers. Not shadow worshipers .

Powerful verse below that dissipates shadows. Making sign and wonders seekers without effect.

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.1 Peter 1:9-11

The Lords day is a reference to the "last day". Six times in the book of John it is used to represent the day believers receive the promises of a new body and death as to the letter of the law. It is finished convicting guilty hearts of mankind .

The Lord's day the same day promised in Philippians 1:6 in so much that if he began the good work will finish until the last day .The same last day or day of the Lord spoken of by Job .

From my experience much damage has been done to the word sabbath (rest) by men giving the word a time element like "week" changing and destroying the meaning. A word (week) it was not used in the Greek until later. .having none at the time it was written

Destroying the gospel which is mixing faith the unseen with the literal that seen in respect to the word today. Today is the last day under the sun for many believers. Just as it will be literally for the whole world .

The word Sabbath does not equal Sunday or Saturday .It does equal today as long as we are under the Sun. Individually or corporately on the last day under the sun

The Bible is the perfect law of God .God's word. . as prophecy defines the terms and phrases used .Sabbath the last day is never used to represent a time element other than as a shadow, of the gospel

Hebrews 4 King James Version (KJV) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day (last day) on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day (last day) from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Sabbath no time restraints.

Sabbath = Last day . Last day = today

Last day = last breath
Well done. :giggle:

Show me in the Ten Commandments, a single "curse". Cite the scripture, instead of citing 'you'. Let's see you even do so simple a thing as requested. You will not, because you cannot, for you refuse to acknowledge the error you have made. The "curse" is not the "law" itself, neither in the Ten Commandments. Being set free from the "curse" of the Law, is not being set free from the Ten Commandments. 'You', have conflated two things which are not the same thing
The ten commandments are as one command to represent death. Death is the letter of the law. One thing.

In the Ten Commandments one commandment is used as a shadow or a parable using the things seen the temporal to give us the faith understanding. . or a understanding not of the eyes alone .(the temporal)

Moral commandments do not provide parables as to reasoning tools.. The reasoning in one parable giving the spiritual unseen must be compared to the unseen spiritual in another to give us the witness of God. Faith to faith.

The Deuteronomy differs but supplies the same understanding ultimately referring to the phrase "last day". not a particular day of the week. But rather as a ceremonial law something set aside as a shadow of the coming of a suffering savor before hand.(1 Peter 1:11)

The 7th day is the "last day" called rest.

Sabbath is a non time sensitive word. Meaning neither Saturday or Sunday.... ceremonial laws shadows. No redeeming power .But signs to the world of God's judgment and mercy. The wrath of God being revealed to the world.

Because a believer has the Spirit of Christ in them, that rest or comforting work of the Holy Spirit being yoked together is called "today" which is as long as we are under the sun. Individual or all together as one bride. Last day

But the seventh day (last day)is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. Deuteronomy 5:14

The rest of the gospel. . . . the last day .

But the seventh day(last day) is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.Exodus 20:10-11

The word sabbath (rest) is not defined by the ceremonial law . The unseen law of faith governs that seen the temporal .Satan turns those things upside down

The seventh day called last day or day of the Lord is the rest of the Lord our God: We rest in Him as he works in us both to will and do his good pleasure. we should believe without murmuring . He is the greatest.

Six times the phrase "last day" is used in that way in the book of John.

Do lawkeepers ever acknowledge that dynamic.

You must be acknowledging that you are one of these then?

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And if you do not even come up to the rank of "Pharisee" righteousness, how do you think you will fare in the latter part of vs 20?
Its like you cant even hear what people are saying to you.
You're so busy policing flyspecks you can not see what is being said.

Col 2
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

Lets see, what part of you attempting to put men under the law agrees with this?

You talking about where you added stuff in the red letters?
The 'red letters' are the words of the scripture, given in those verses cited with the ellipses provided, to show the connection of the words. Some words like "Lord's" or "day" were provided in additional brackets as contexually required. So I most definitely did not "add" stuff. In fact, the second post, showed the full verses with those same words underlined in the actual text.

If you need to see the details of that presented in this thread specifically, I can, but it will be no small study on Colossians 2, and its context. For instance, a small beginning:

Colossians 2 (citing Ezekiel 45:17), parallels Ephesians 2, and Hebrews 9-10. The language is the same. The "ordinances" in Colossians 2 deals with "shadows", such as the daily "meat and drink" offerings of a worldly sanctuary and carnal ordinances, the seasonal "feast days", the monthly "new moons", and the year based "sabbaths", in the singular, every 7 and 50th years, as Paul is citing Psalms 98:1-3; and Ezekiel 45:17 with other texts.

The Sabbath of the LORD thy God is always called "my [as in God's] sabbaths", and the others in Leviticus 23:4 onward are called "your [the peoples] sabbaths" [Leviticus 26:35] which are "beside [given in addition to] the sabbaths of the LORD" [Leviticus 23:38]. The Ten Commandments, including the Sabbath of the 4th Commandment, are "light" [Proverbs 6:23, Isaiah 8:20, 51:4], never a "shadow", are "spiritual" [Romans 7:14], never "carnal" [Hebrews 9:10].

Colossians 2:14 – “ordinances”
Ephesians 2:15 – “law of commandments contained in ordinances”
Hebrews 9:1 – “ordinances of divine service”
Hebrews 9:10 – “carnal ordinances”
Colossians 2:16 – “in meat, or in drink” [offerings]
Hebrews 9:10 – “meats and drinks” [offerings]
Colossians 2:12 – “also ye are risen with him”
Ephesians 2:6 – “raised us up together”
Colossians 2:16 – “a shadow of things to come”
Ephesians 2:7 – “in the ages to come”
Hebrews 9:11 – “of good things to come”
Hebrews 10:1 – “the law having a shadow of good things to come”, “those sacrifices”, “offered year by year”
Hebrews 9:9 – “was a figure”
Hebrews 9:23 – “the patterns”
Hebrews 9:24 – “the figures”
Hebrews 10:1 – “not the very image of the things”
Colossians 2:2 – “riches”
Colossians 2:3 – “treasures”
Ephesians 2:7 – “riches”
Colossians 2:11 – “of the flesh”
Colossians 2:13 – “flesh”
Ephesians 2:3 – “flesh ... the flesh”
Ephesians 2:11 – “in the flesh”
Ephesians 2:15 – “in his flesh”
Hebrews 9:13 – “flesh”
Hebrews 10:20 – “his flesh”
Colossians 2:14 – “the handwriting of ordinances”
Ephesians 2:15 – “the law of commandments contained in ordinances”
Hebrews 9:19 – “Moses ... to the law ... blood ... book”
Hebrews 9:22 – “by the law ... with blood”
Colossians 2:11 – “putting off the body of the sins”
Hebrews 9:26 – “put away sin”
Hebrews 10:4 – “take away sins”
Hebrews 10:9 – “He taketh away the first”

The immediate reference:

“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:” – Colossians 2:16
“And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.” – Ezekiel 45:17

[ps. none of the Ten Commandments deal with carnal sacrifices, the context of Ezekiel 45 and its "ordinances" - see vs 14 for example]

The "ordinances" of type:
"ordinances" - Colossians 2:14 (like Passover)
"carnal" [sacrifices] - Hebrews 9:10
"worldly" - Hebrews 9:1
"shadow" - Colossians 2:17
"to come" [pointing to future, as type to antitype]- Colossians 2:16; Ephesians 2:17; Hebrews 9:11, 10:1

Now that is incomparable to the Ten Commandments, eternal the Law of God:

"Ten Commandments", "Law of God" - Exodus 34:28; Deuteronomy 4:13, 10:4
"spiritual" [all of it, obedience by faith and love] - Romans 7:14
"heaven" - Exodus 20:22
"light" - Proverbs 6:23; Isaiah 8:20, 51:4; Psalms 119:105
"Remember" [memorial, past] - Exodus 20:8

and many other such things, to which they demonstrate are not speaking of the same thing, but two things.

I haven't even begun yet. That was just a small sampling of a real prayerful study of Colossians 2 that I have ready to share upon request.

Why do you bring up Colossians 2 when the OP is about Revelation 1:10 and the specific phrase, the Lord's day?

Hebrews 3 and 4 depict the believers rest.

That seems inconsistent with a single day of the week.
Do not confuse the "to day" with the "seventh day" in the text. Both are present. One does not erase the other:

Hebrews 3-4 (among many others; John 14:15; Exodus 20:6; Isaiah 56:1,8; John 10:16; Isaiah 56:2-7, Acts 4:24, 14:15; Revelation 10:6, 14:6-7, &c).

Hebrews 3-4 is clear.

Hebrews 4:3, "my (God's) rest" and "the works were finished from the foundation of the world", which is a direct reference to Genesis 2:1-3. It even uses the word "finished". God rested the 7th day in Genesis 2:1-3. It is His rest, the 7th day, the sabbath (rest) of the LORD thy God, Exodus 20:8-11.

Hebrews 4:4, "he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works", which "certain place" is Genesis 2:1-3; re-cited in Exodus 20:8-11. The 7th day the sabbath (rest) of the LORD thy God.

Hebrews 4:5, "my (God's) rest)", citing Psalms 95, which is citing Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11, etc. Again, this is the 7th day the sabbath (rest) of God at Creation in Genesis 2:1-3.

Hebrews 4:6, "remaineth", from when? "from the foundation of the world" as per Hebrews 4:3 and thus it is not new, but has been around from the beginning.

Hebrews 4:9, "rest", sabbatismos, literally and truly sabbath keeping in scripture and in all known extant Greek sources, dictionaries, and so on and again "remaineth".

Hebrews 4:10, "his (God's) rest", which is the 7th day the sabbath (rest) of the LORD thy God from Genesis 2:1-3., "as God did from his (works)", which "works were finished from the foundation of the world" as per Hebrews 4:3.

Hebrews 4:11, "that rest" (ie God's rest), the 7th day the sabbath (rest) of the LORD thy God.
That just a summary of an entire study I have done on Hebrews 3-4 itself.

The book of Hebrews is built upon the ladder of learning system, beginning with the foundation, and building upon each precisely measured truth, in its “therefore”, “wherefore” and “for” statements. For instance:

Hebrews 1, lays the foundation in the eternal unchanging Deity and Co-Creatorship of Jesus Christ, who has a more excellent name than that of the created angelic hosts.
Hebrews 2, then begins with the connecting link to the previous foundation, with its “therefore”, and builds upon the other nature of Jesus Christ, namely that of the likeness of his fallen sinful flesh nature of humanity that He had taken upon Himself.
Hebrews 3, then continues to build upon those two things further, and connects to the past truth, with its “wherefore”, and delves straight into the peoples Israel [sons of natural Jacob] of the past, with Moses as a type of Christ; thus showing that Christ is the greater Moses, and in vs 7, another link “wherefore”, pointing to the failure in faith, and the rebellion of action as the result, drawing a parallel between they of old, and the we of then in Paul's day and so also now.
Hebrews 4, then continues the building exhortation, by its “Let us therefore”, and moves right into an an expanded comparison of the past with the present situation, in matters of living faith, granting the victory over sin. Paul, under inspiration of the Holy Ghost, draws from several passages of scripture, and draws a conclusion, with another link in vs 6, a “therefore” and further throughout with additional conclusions and places to step higher, in vs 14, “Seeing then”, and vs 16, “Let us therefore”. Living faith may therefore climb up Jacob's ladder [Christ Jesus] and reach the Throne of Grace, even “boldly”, to find pardon and cleansing for sin.
Hebrews 5, then takes this point on faith, grace, forgiveness, and cleansing, and takes the next step, pointing out the temporary changing Highpriests of old, and the eternal Highpriesthood of Jesus Christ, who is now, with its “For”.
Hebrews 6, then takes this another step higher, with its link of “Therefore”, and moves into the eternal promises of God and eternal covenant made with Abraham [etc], in Christ Jesus, and that true living and abiding faith in contrast with that which is mere 'fool's gold faith' [I believe, I believe, and no corresponding result, thus draw back into doubt, masking as 'faith'].
Hebrews 7, then going further into detail about how Jesus Christ can be a real Highpriest, is linked to the previous, with its “For this”, demonstrating that Jesus is after a higher order, a more ancient order of priest, the Melchizedek priesthood, to which even Abraham, the father of the faithful, acknowledges by tithe. Paul draws out a conclusion in vs 11, “If therefore” and continues.
Hebrews 8, reaches a midway peak, and summarizes all that has been stated before, with its “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum”, and continues by contrasting the shadows of the Levitical with the reality of Jesus' Melchizedical, along with the old and new covenants.
Hebrews 9, begins with the summarized truth, “Then verily”, and shows the contrast of the earthly sanctuary and its recurring animal sacrifices with that of the true Heavenly, with Christ as the real Mediator between God and man, and the one true sacrifice that was foretold from the beginning, which parallels the language of Colossians 2 and Ephesians 2.
Hebrews 10, continues the thought of Hebrews 9, with is “For”, and shows that the Levitical written laws had types, figures and shadows all pointing to their substance, their body, their reality, Christ Jesus, and because we now have the real sacrifice, sins can truly be cleansed, whereas the blood of goats and calves do not do so, and that everyone taking hold of this sacrifice may enter into God's presence through faith in it.
Hebrews 11, then takes us back to the beginning with “Now faith” and “by faith ...” in the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and unites the peoples of faith gone before, with those present, and all those yet to come in the redemption and resurrection provided in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 12, takes this great 'hall of faith', and links to it with “wherefore”, for the now present persons looking at the significance of the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of the Messiah, and continues with the striking difference between the judgments gone before because of transgression/sin, and the great Judgment to come, but not to grow weary and cling to the blessed Hope, which is Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 13, one can hear the echoed “wherefore” of Hebrews 12:28, in that also in vs 29 God is a consuming fire, who is love, and so “Let brotherly love continue.”, and like as Jesus so loved, in Hebrews 13:12, “wherefore” we ought also to follow such an example of love, and thus, chapters 11, 12 and 13, might appropriately be called the chapters of “Faith, Hope & Love”, and the greatest of these is Love.
Why did you cite Hebrews 3-4, when the OP is specifcally addressing the question of what day is "the Lord's day" in Revelation 1:10?

Seems like the 7 letters to the 7 churches would have a rebuke or exhortation about Saturday sabbath keeping.
Or some disciplinary action from paul for not observing Saturday as a holy day.
This is again the "presumption" of what the authors of the NT, under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, "ought" to have written based upon 'your' aprioric ideology. The texts of the NT weren't written to your standards, but Gods'. The issue in the 4 Gospels, was not on what day the sabbath was, for all acknowledged it is the 7th day, but as to how to properly keep that day, which is why Jesus, in every case, had to show "how", not the "when". There are plenty of verses in the NT on the sabbath, as already cited previously.

Additionally, the Gentiles were repenting unto God, as Isaiah 56:1-8, John 10:16, Amos 9:11-12, etc foretold. See Acts 13:43, 15:19, etc, and were desirous to Keep God's law (Ten Commandments, called "my [God's] law"), as that is central to the New Covenant, see Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 8:8-13, 10:16, 2 Corinthians 3, Ezekiel 36-37, etc.

Secondly, "Saturday" is not a scriptural (Bible) term. It is pagan Roman time (midnight to midnight) and is not the same timeframe as God's (the Lord's) day, the sabbath day, the seventh day, which is from "even unto even" (such as like this, Leviticus 23:32), as the days in scripture, from Genesis 1, begin with the "evening", followed by "morning" (Genesis 1:5, etc).

So, I do not 'keep' "Saturday" as an Holy day. That is an impossibility (as "Saturday was never made "holy", never "sanctified", never "blessed", and never "rested" upon by God in its entirety, but by the Holy Ghost, I can keep the Sabbath Holy, as God made it Holy, and all the rest from the beginning). I do desire you to use proper, that is to say, Bible, terms. It helps to keep things straight, as the Bible (not pagan Rome) is my final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

What difference does it make if John was in the spirit on saturday or sunday?
Neither term, "Sunday" or "Saturday" are scriptural, that is to say, Bible, terms. Neither encompass the correct timeframe, as both are Pagan Roman Time (midnight to midnight), rather than the Bible chronology, of Evening followed by Morning, as per Genesis 1.

What matters, is that scripture, defines scripture - Isaiah 8:20, even line upon line Isaiah 28:10,13. It is self-defining. God inspired it, and God gets to define His own terms therein. To add or to subtract from anything which He said, inspired or defined, is to place my own, your own or another's in its place, and it ceases to be God's word at that point. It would go from logos, to anti-logos.

So many (past, and present) have attempted to redefine God's word, and have taken what is stated in Revelation 1:10, in regards "the Lord's day", and attempted to place men's definition into the text, from non-Bible sources, and from wild guessing. They have brought confusion to billions, and are rightly called Babylon. I want to know what God specifically inspired and meant, not what others, apart from scripture, have thought it meant.

The demonstration that the Lord's day is the seventh day, the sabbath of the Lord thy God, shows the consistency of God from Genesis to Revelation, from Alpha to Omega, from Beginning to Ending, from First to Last, from Creation to Redemption, from Seventh day to the final Advents.

Notice these texts:
Deu_8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
Mat_4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Luk_4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

"every word", and that includes Revelation 1:10's "the Lord's day", even as John himself lived by, the "word of God" (commandments of God) and the "testimony" (Spirit) - Isaiah 8:20.

Then these texts:

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
It matters to God enough to inspire the words "the Lord's day" into Revelation 1:10, and then by another miracle "preserve" (Psalms 12:6-7) them the last 2000 years, therefore, it ought matter to those who love Jesus, for it was He which was inspiring by the Holy Ghost.

Lol.
Yes we can all see sabbath and rest have no correlation whatsoever.

Your constant "...has nothing to do with the op.."is yet another indicator of your misplaced perception.

Just insert "sabbath" (which isn't there) and stop worrying if it makes a sliver of difference.
No game changer or error either way.

Yes the Lord's day and the last day are synonymous as the day of rest.

Addressed in OP video and Powerpoint material, both here - https://christianchat.com/bible-dis...ords-day-revelation-1-10.190829/#post-4189286

and again here - https://christianchat.com/bible-dis...ay-revelation-1-10.190829/page-2#post-4189957

Col ..."..let no man judge you.."
"....concerning ordinances..."
"..concerning sabbaths"
No brainer

You .."it can only say what I say it says"
"Watch me go verse by verse and SHOW YOU what it really says."
"What it really really says."
"You guys got it wrong. Watch about 10 hours vids and really really get saturday down as the real sabbath"

Uh no it clearly is in the wrong emphasis.
The verses I posted show a different picture.

Interesting question: According to scripture alone, what is "the Lord's day" (Revelation 1:10)?

Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Is the Bible the final authority in all matters of faith and practice for you as it is to me? - see Isaiah 8:20. Then how does the Bible itself, line upon line, define this phrase, and where is John getting this idea from, as inspired of the Holy Ghost? What is the context?

If the Bible is not the final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and you subscribe to the traditions and doctrines of men (Matthew 15:9; Mark 7:7; Colossians 2:2), self-made councils, vain priests and pretended popes who all contradict one another, and pick and choose their religiousity, well, you are already adrift in the miasma of self-made religion, as Paul warned about in Colossians 2:

This thread is not about those vain traditions, pseudo writings, spurious letters, blatant forgeries, and imaginations of the carnal heart, but rather about the sure word of God on the matter, for God cannot lie, while men documentedly have. If you rely upon those things, they will be shown to be what they really are, vanity.

Here is what someone has presented from the scriptures itself:

"The Lord's day" according to scripture, is the 7th day, the sabbath day of the Lord.

Genesis 2:1-3,4 - 'the seventh day', 'God', 'day', 'the LORD God' [… God [the LORD] … day …]
Exodus 16:23 - "the LORD", "to morrow [the seventh day] is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD' [... the LORD ... [day] ...]
Exodus 16:25 - 'to day [the seventh day]; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day' [... the LORD ... day]
Exodus 20:8-11 - 'the sabbath day', 'the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God', 'sabbath day' [... the LORD ... day ...]
Exodus 31:15 - 'the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD ... the sabbath day' [... the LORD ... day]
Exodus 35:2,3 - 'the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD', 'the sabbath day' [… the LORD … day …]
Leviticus 23:3 - 'the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD'
Deuteronomy 5:12,14 – 'the LORD', 'the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God' [… the LORD … day …]
Psalms 92:1 - 'A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD'
Isaiah 56:6 - 'Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath [day] from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant' (context new covenant) [... the LORD ... sabbath [day] ...]
Isaiah 58:13 - 'the sabbath ... my [the LORD's] holy day ... the holy [day] of the Lord' [... [the LORD's] ... day]
Isaiah 66:22,23 – 'the LORD', 'one sabbath [day] to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD' [… the LORD … [day] …]
Jeremiah 17:21 - 'saith the LORD... on the sabbath day' [... the LORD ... day]
Matthew 12:8 - 'the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day' [... the ... Lord ... day]
Mark 2:28 - 'the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day' [... the ... Lord ... day]
Luke 6:5 - 'the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath [day]' [... the ... Lord ... [day]]
Revelation 1:10 - 'the Lord's day'
So you start by referencing the Book of the Revelation of John , then call the Epistles, "pseudo writings, spurious letters, and blatant forgeries, " do you throw out the other three gospel accounts too? How do you determine what is scripture and what is not? Is it just the writing of John, as far as the new testament goes?

""Neither term, "Sunday" or "Saturday" are scriptural, that is to say, Bible, terms""
Uh "term" is not in the bible
So your point is void.

See how easy that is.

There is a deflecting in your methodology.
You constantly bring flyspecks forward as part of your doctrine.
Then tell others "your sentences do not cancel my ever so astute eloquent factoids"

Mental discerning of the word of God is what was leading the religious in Jesus advent.

Oh dear is "advent " in the bible?

Oh,double bogey man,I think "bible" is not in the bible.

Oh wow my post is double cancelled ...I used "bible" twice

The sacrificial lamb was sacrificed on the eve of Passover. Around 3PM 14 Nisan.
This was when Jesus died.
The Lord's day is therefore Nisan 14
