The standard for true prophecy is within the Bible -- not the fantasies of men. We are to take Bible prophecy in its plain literal sense, and by comparing Scripture with Scripture, arrive at a proper interpretation through exegesis. We cannot allegorize or spiritualize things at random or at will.

The Reformers failed to reject the ideas of the Catholic Church and Augustine. Hence all the confusion about future events, calling the pope the Antichrist, interpreting days as years, applying future prophecies to historical events, etc.
But.......... the Pharisees were blinded to scripture having a veil over their eyes. And you agree with them.........

“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.” Romans 12:17 (KJV 1900)

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:19–21 (KJV 1900)

right

while some dude is killing your wife and children...or worse, giving them a life time of memories nobody wants...you will prepare a nice meal when the event is over. interesting how you can use those verses to make a doctrine that is not actually present in scripture, but you deny anyone else 'using' a verse to illustrate their rebuttal to your hilarious passivity

get off it

don't forget the kool-aid...it seems you have some on hand already

“See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15 (KJV 1900)
Should we give to others undeservingly or require working and responsibility of others?

Matthew 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Vs

2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Can you imagine the abuse if Christians in this world if we lived by Matthew 5:42? Can you imagine giving to anyone who asks and require no payment in return?

Love sorts it all out. But you criticize Jesus without giving him a thought. I always give everything away and accept no payment.

If someone asks for your food, car, house, etc..you are required to give it away no questions asked. That’s not the doctrine the Lord gave the Apostle Paul for the body of Christ.

The Church in Acts practiced this.

The Church in Acts practiced this.
Before The Lord called Paul to teach to the body of Christ new revelation. Btw, during the early part of Acts, the Church was made up of Jews only and the kingdom of heaven was still at hand. The kingdom was postponed at the stoning of Stephen, Israel’s last chance to receive their Messiah. The spiritual kingdom of God would continue through the Gentiles.

This is not true. The born again can see the kingdom. Those who cannot see it are not born again or seriously deceived. And they expect a physical kingdom. They rearrange scripture to do this. Dispensationalism exists only because of this.

Amil = born again = can see the Kingdom of God. Premil = spiritually blind and more than likely not born again.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 (KJV 1900)
Born again by the INCORRUPTIBLE word of God. The word is what allows us see the kingdom.

Almost every word out of Jesus' mouth was spoken in parables and yet people think we are to take the bible literally.... SMH.

The whole bible is an esoteric book, the entirety of meaning hidden underneath the words. It's no wonder there are over 33,000 denominations. <--- That was an esoteric message by the way. ;)

We are to be good stewards also.

Everything in balance.

All scripture must agree.

I actually agree with much of what you are saying. However, I believe you are missing something...

Please bear with me for a few posts, and I will try to help you see exactly what that something is.

Go read this web page:

http://mywebsite.us/ABA/Topics/Local_New_Testament_Church.html

Then, come back and tell me (be honest) that you clearly understand the simple-but-certain difference(s) between the 'spiritual' church, the 'universal' church, and the 'local' church.

Then - I want to ask you a question.

This is a rather divisive and poor way of viewing things, to make eschatological views a requirement for salvation. Where does the Bible teach that idea?

Do you think Papias, St. Justin Martyr and St. Ireneaus were unsaved?

I think some born-again are deceived in this matter. I'm not so sure about those who studied the matter and reject the truth.

Interesting article. Thanks for sharing. My position on the church is it is believers only, invisible with no physical presence in the world until 2-3 or more meet in Jesus' name. This can be anywhere and nowhere in particular. And then we return to invisibility when the meeting ends. Institutional Churches are man-made and do some good but always entropy into error. Where the truth does not change.

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Jesus and the apostles gathered together in the tabernacle with the apostate Jews. Gathering on the first day of the week.

Your position is like a family never gathering together. Not much of a family and no opportunity to share burdens. Those disposed to no hospitality are not showing the fruit of the Holy Spirit basically hypocrites.

It's biblical. The Acts Church met mainly in homes.
