So is your prophesy of 2 Peter 1:20 that only your interpretation, or whatever interpretation you choose to believe, is the correct one and isn't open to being interpreted differently?

While that was a question and not an accusation, I fail to see how having a different perspective on the meaning of scripture(s) amounts to making an accusation against anyone who has a different interpretation.

You're right, it isn't referring unto how someone interprets what they read.
  • And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Mark 7:18
It is referring to what a person says after reading the scriptures.
  • And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. Mark 7:20
Of course men who lacked the ability to teach themselves how to read wouldn't have the ability to interpret the scriptures since one must be able to read in order to interpret what is written.
Somewhere between

"I think you missed the point."

and

"I disagree with some of what you said."

Please read the OP again and pay close attention to the highlighted parts.

I have seen people accuse others of making "private interpretations" of scripture - using the verses at the top of the OP as a basis for the accusation.

I am saying that they are using the verses out of context.

While I agree with both statements, no one has the right to put their own spin, meaning, or "interpretation" on Scripture so as to support their belief.
All Scripture is very precise in its meaning as is not to be taken out of context or in any way to be used to PROVE what I, you , or anyone believes.
BUT, there are some that do so.
Scripture should be understood for what it is saying to us - and, never the other direction.

Exactly!
Scripture is to be understood not interrupted.
And it always says the same thing to all.

You haven't answered my question. Please read the preceding posts, and read my question again carefully.

Where in Scripture are Peter's words called blasphemy? Please provide the Scripture reference.
Mathew 16 .

The Lord gave words to Jesus to rebuke Satan .Seeing the Son of man did not have the power acording to the temporal flesh The father forgave peter of his balapheny .Accrditing the work of the Anti christ satan as if what peter said was inspiried from God.

Blasphemy was forgivable when accredited to what the eyes see. (corruption)That window closed when Jesus disappeared .The the unseen Good Master as God could continue hi labor of love or work of His faithfulness once the demonstration was over.

Most do not discus the blasphemy of Peter used to demonstrate the work of the antichist .peter standing in the place of the man of sin (Satan has no form) .

It takes away from the previous idea Peter that he is the key that the gates of hell could never prevail against. (I say Blasphemy)

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Mathew: 22-23

Peter should of used the prescription for rightly diving the parable found in 2 Corinthian 4:18 .Then maybe he would not blasphemed and therefore violated the first commandment.

The antichrist Satan (singular) and Peter antichrists (many working as one). That lesson can be used to help understand why today that blasphemy cannot be forgiven for two thousand years..

Some are still waiting go for the man of sin the antichrist to revealed. He was revealed in the garden then he puts his words on the lips of a serpent. Mathew on the lips of Peter.

Matthew 12:31-32 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

It's the phrase you keep using, so you explain it.

I have given you my private interpretation or heresy of what I think his interpretation the bible is teaching us when it does come to the idea of mixing faith. We would not want to get that mixed up . the faithless jew performed that turning things upside down. We must be careful how we hear. .

He is not a man as us and neither is there a fleshly infallible interpreter set between God not seen the eternal, and man seen the temporal. The Bible calls that the work of a daysman (antichrist)

You seem to tend to make "it" in the phrase as it is written without effect .In order to establish some kind of mysterious extra source of faith that goes above all things written in the law and the prophets. (sola scriptura) The Christians Good Master. . the living abiding word..

When the Son of man, Jesus experienced the work of a unknown spirit working to satisfy the needs of the flesh, the lust of the eye, the lust of the touch. All the kingdoms and all the glory was shown three times with three denoting the end of the matter . After the second test, again the Father gave his prophet Jesus words to say as it is written, again as it is written the sword of the spirit. (double edged) Cut of the father of lies and healed His Son..

One source of faith. called faith as it is written. Sola scriptura the reforming, restoring authority in any generation. it as it is written proved itself true in the first century as well as the fifteenth. Carbon copy.

In that way I would think we would be careful how we mix faith a lifetime learning curve. Like David in the Psalms . As your word has quickened my soul it freely gives us simply ones His understanding so we can seek his approval as the peace of God.

How would you describe mixing faith?

Let's try this again...

Where in Scripture does God (or anyone else) call Peter's words, "blasphemy"?

I ask you for your definition and instead of providing it you claim that you have already provided it. Where?

Please go and look up "fallacy of anachronism". You employed it here.

You take a measure of expectation and add two measures of immutable and you will see the evidence of thing unseen:unsure:

OK
Take a measure of expectation or it as it is written is the golden measure of faith, revealing the expectations ? Taking the things seen the temporal finding ,mixing the unseen eternal meaning of the parable.

What is it you are thinking I am using against time? The word of God as it is written? Or the witness of men ?

It's going to make sense if you trace it back through the posts. Guessing is a waste of your time, and explaining in response to your guessing would be a waste of mine.

Its not a guessing game .Words have meaning .Peter clearly blasphemed the Son of man as a one of the many antichrists .He was forgiven .The lord rebuked Satan the one who worked the work of the antichrists leading Peter to blaspheme . .This shall not be unto you. Jesus I forbid

If you do not know how to define the word look it up .Its what Peter clearly performed . He was forgiven .Today blasphemy against the Holy Spirit not seen it is not forgivable
