The first set of twins listed in the Bible are Jacob and Esau (Gen 25:22-26). The second set are Perez and Zerah (Gen 38:27-30). *** Note: Perez was in the lineage of Jesus: (Ruth 4:18-22)(Mt 1:3).

Why did Nehemiah rebuke the nobles and rulers?
a) Their wives were gossiping against the wives of the poorer Israelites, whose clothes were but camel hair and straw.
b) Their sons were drinking much wine and making merry, whilst the workers did sweat under the labour of the wall in the dry heat of the desert.
c) They had harkened unto the words of Tobiah the Ammonite, who had said “Whatever they build, if even a fox goes up on it, he will break down their stone wall.”
d) They were exacting usury from their fellow Israelites, so much so that their fellow Israelites were selling their sons and daughters into slavery to afford to eat.
e) Some had sold their daughters as concubines to the uncircumcised Philistines, in exchange for the mercenary protection offered by the shameful Philistine king, Gath.

Moreover, from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year to the thirty-second year of Artaxerxes the king, twelve years, neither I nor my brothers ate the food allowance of the governor. The former governors who were before me laid heavy burdens on the people and took from them for their daily ration forty shekels of silver. Even their servants Lorded it over the people. But I did not do so, because of the fear of God. I also persevered in the work on this wall, and we acquired no land, and all my servants were gathered there for the work. Moreover, there were at my table 150 men, Jews and officials, besides those who came to us from the nations that were around us. Now what was prepared at my expense for each day was one ox and six choice sheep and birds, and every ten days all kinds of wine in abundance. Yet for all this I did not demand the food allowance of the governor, because the service was too heavy on this people. Remember for my good, O my God, all that I have done for this people.

Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak answered Tatnai governor on this side the river and Shetharboznai and their companions.
Ezra 5:2 - 3
Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.
At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
What did Darius order to happen to anyone who altered his edict?
A) Let timber be pulled down from his house.
B) Let him be hanged.
C) Let his house be made a dunghill, and all of the above.
D) Let him be whipped with the whips of the Chaldeans, reserved only for the war elephants, and all of the above.
E) Let an effigy be made of him, and let pins be inserted therein before casting the effigy thereof into the flame, and all of the above.
F) Let him be slapped on the wrist and fined a paltry amount, but basically, let off.
