God is in control of our world, could the Lord be telling us something with coronavirus?

Our world is the Lord’s, so are we and yet even our dogs treat us more respectfully than we treat our God.

Can you image our dogs redoing the food we give them, throwing out the nutritious parts as we do our grains? Think of all the ways we change the food God makes available to us. What if they showed us love but calmly changed around what we told them to do or even disobeyed us?

God is ultimately in control, but hasn’t He allowed the devil to rule temporarily?

Luke 4
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

I do think he is trying to say something with this virus, these things don't just happen.
Maybe he is trying to say how corrupt the world has become or perhaps that everything we say is like that virus it infects people I'm not sure really

Ridiculous speculation. God could be saying anything or nothing. You have a bee in your bonnet about processed food.

Here's a solution: don't eat it.

I think that was a bit out of line. I mean even someone has a problem with processed food they have a right to their view you don't have to be so harsh. I mean there is a lot of biblical things about it. Like for instance Blik has a good point the world was created and is the Lords and we have infected and destroyed poisoned and trashed all over his creation I mean global warming is getting worse processed food is slowing down our health constantly when the orignal things it was made from would actually help our bodies and he does say after all that our bodies are temples and he lives in us doesn't he?

Now don't get me wrong I cannot quit french fries for the life of me but like I said there is some validation and if this virus is saying something then maybe Blik has a point who knows?

Well I think it came from a lab, but sin none the less.

There have always been the evil elite that cause turmoil. It's the ones in charge that ruin the food, not the general people.

People waste food for various reasons, but typically it boils down to produce going bad, disgusting processed food, or running out of time or no knowledge on what to do with it.

Dogs hold a high status with people, not God. Similar to cats in ancient Egypt. They accept any food! They might even eat their owner if they died. 🤔 So...I'm not sure I would consider the food part love.

I think the coronavirus resulted from sin. I'm not sure why God allowed it but I don't see it as the apocalypse. There have always been plagues.

This is probably the third thread Blik has started on the subject of processed food. Yes, of course she's welcome to her own opinion. She doesn't need to air it repeatedly and imply that those who disagree with her are outside of God's good graces.

In my experience if a person keeps making threads that annoy you just ignore it and them. If we are to be filled with the spirit we have to learn how to shake the dust off our feet and walk away and believe me I have had to do this with many users here

I sure do. I disagree with tearing food apart and so does science. If we are made in the image of God we can figure out what God's reaction is to us changing what he created for us by how we would react.

And, although it is none of your business what I do or don't eat, I have always watched to find food as close to how God created it as possible and it has kept my body healthy and alert for 95 years. Are you doing as well?

I am not "implying" I am making statements. I think Christians should consider this possibility. If you had a Christian spirit you would be able to join other Christians in considering the word together instead of only trying to tear anything or anyone down for having a question or thought you either haven't seen or disagree with.

You are a wonderful scholar, but I search your posts for a Christian spirit.

"Science" does no such thing; that's a fallacy of reification.

If we are made in the image of God we can figure out what God's reaction is to us changing what he created for us by how we would react.
Now you're claiming to know what God thinks, despite such thoughts not being recorded in the Bible. Certainly, God can speak to you about what you eat (or don't) but that is for you, not for everyone. I don't eat zucchini because it makes me sick. Does that mean you shouldn't eat zucchini either?

And, although it is none of your business what I do or don't eat, I have always watched to find food as close to how God created it as possible and it has kept my body healthy and alert for 95 years. Are you doing as well?
I agree; it's none of my business, but you completely missed my point. You eat what you want to, but stop implying that others should eat according to your conscience. You're completely violating the gist of Romans 14.

If Christ is God as you assert then your question seems symptomatic of the spiritual coronavirus.

Here is test question, "Who is the son of David?"

I do think he is trying to say something with this virus, these things don't just happen.
The body of Christ ought to know that claiming to know what God thinks is no different that claiming to know what God isn't thinking, since they have the mind of Christ, but I will leave what the wind is thinking up to those who can hear it.

However, what I'm saying is what has already been said as written in Eccl 2:12,, "...for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done."

"Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."

But of course, according to the son of David there is a just man that perishes in his righteousness and there is a wicked man that prolongs his life in his wickedness. Yet the righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way yet the perfection of the unjust shall be the cause of his own fall. While the righteousness of the upright shall keep him from falling.

I think Christians should consider this possibility.

King David was the son of Jesse. David, translated, is Beloved. Jesse, translated is my Redeemer. Dah-veed...Yeshi.
Often David is a reference to the Eternal King, Jesus-Yeshua.
This is why the Throne of David (Beloved or Jesus) is eternal.

To ask Who the Son of David is is rather ambiguous for first it is Soomon, one of David's son's, and later it is Jesus in the flesh.

Finally, all who believe Jesus-Yeshua re sons of David.

now, I ask, who is the son of David?

PS This is NOT a test, just a question.

Sorry, King David's son is Solomon. The Beloved is the father of Peace…………..
I refer only to the first heir to his throne....other sons he did have.

Well it is true that his ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts but he never said we could not learn. The closer we become to him the more and more his way of thinking seeing and being become ours as well. However there are some things he reveals and others he chooses not to and having the mind of Christ means to think and act like he does it doesn't mean we will know his thoughts and what he is thinking.

And also this virus may or may not be a message from God but I can glean plenty of messages from it just from how it works.I mean cleanliness for instance, the world is corrupt and sick ill and dirty but we are not of the world though we are in it and so we must remember to keep ourselves spiritually clean in all things.

Dino I don't understand, if this bothers you so much why do you keep replying? What good does an argument do if only the deaf speak, neither side with you two is going anywhere and I encourage you to be wise and walk away keep your eyes on God not the quarrels of a debate.
Now Honestly I have only seen this thread on this particular topic of food and what and how to eat but it is actually biblical. The Jews in the old covanent rarely ever ate red meat and because of this they were much more healthy than everyone else they had certain customs that only allowed the purist of food to enter their bodies.

Everyone is free to eat what they want I mean I could certainly use the help but I don't Blik is trying to cause problems and in fact being as old as that and yet being as healthy as that is evidence of biblical eating habits. And personally I think your getting to agitated over this which is why I am hoping you will listen to reason and and ignore it. there are no fruits of the spirit in an endless quarrel

This is a very good topic, and if you feel the need to make one post or two per day instructing people on the benefits of healthy eating, then you go right ahead.

Congratulations on being 95 and being on the internet. Wow God is awesome. May you continue for many more years by the grace of God.

I don't know what God is or is not saying, but I feel that there are things that can be learned from it.

sounds like a cat. i have found them to be very particular about what i put on counters or tables in our home, and they will not cease to re-arrange items placed thereupon, despite my instructions and protests.

still, they are family, in my house.
