Yes and this virus has far surpassed 0.1% already and has just started in most countries and probably the first wave.
Just starting in Africa

Yes let's just carry on as normal, open up America and see how many front line workers lives can be sacrificed as well due to putting our heads in the sand and denying basic scientific models.
I have spoken with medical professionals and from what I've also read, coronaviruses have been studied for decades. If it had reached a maximum, according to the aforementioned 0.1% mortality rate, similar to a seasonal viral scenario, as many as a million people could have perished worldwide because of the potential elevated contagious nature of the viral threat. However, because of the proactive response, from what I understand, 30,000 people in the vulnerable population may have lost their lives. In modern society, we should never lose sight of the sacred value of every life, including the unborn, since this is how the Lord values every life. The life of Jesus, one human being, shows how much our Divine Creator values every life.
My grandfather, a Methodist minister in Canada, gave his life to comfort a family whose daughter was ill from an influenza outbreak at the turn of the century. Viral infections can be very serious, and he was a young man of God.

While the Corona virus turned out to be less serious than predicted, we should never accept a 0.1% mortality rate as normal, or the deaths of 30,000 people. This pandemic has taught me to value each person's life, including my own, and to learn how to value loyal friends and family, and church family. We should all have friends in the community we can count on, and to help all who are suffering, as Jesus said, and honor all that is sacred as He did.

Lord, help us to care for one another.

The pandemic is over, sayeth the Lord.

Please I need to leave this thread. :(

Okay to be fair.... I will look it up... but will you be objective it I have see flaws in the data?
I'm certain I'm in the minority by saying this, but I don't care what the percentage of deaths to infections are.

I HATE the whole concept of a lockdown and suspension of Constitutional rights, because from right off the bat NO ONE could answer the question what is the number of deaths allowable by the Constitution, from a disease, that gives the Government power to lockdown citizens and suspend the Bill of rights?

For example, if there were a 28th amendment that said something along the lines of "If 100,000 Americans die from a specific, communicable disease, within a 6 month time frame, the Government is granted the power to lockdown......." There is NO such provision. So therefore we are subject to the whims of mere men who are making decisions not by law, but by unelected, FREQUENTLY wrong "experts'!

NO restrictions at all in the USA in 1957. We had not become ignorant yet of our rights, fearful from a leftist media, and the Government feared the people, not the other way around. And let's not forget just how wussified society has become, thanks to the left again, turning vast amounts of people into fragile little snowflakes.

How much have you even HEARD of this Pandemic?

1957-1958 Pandemic (H2N2 virus)

In February 1957, a new influenza A (H2N2) virus emerged in East Asia, triggering a pandemic (“Asian Flu”). This H2N2 virus was comprised of three different genes from an H2N2 virus that originated from an avian influenza A virus, including the H2 hemagglutinin and the N2 neuraminidase genes. It was first reported in Singapore in February 1957, Hong Kong in April 1957, and in coastal cities in the United States in summer 1957. The estimated number of deaths was 1.1 million worldwide and 116,000 in the United States.

I would agree with you. But the Discussion about it is very confusing and controvers.
I am more america orientiert, so I dont Trust Regimes which anyway dont tolerante humanrights. Why I should Trust them now in Corona? I dont believe in and conspiration theroy about it, but can imaginäre that this event can lead in an time where people are most controlled, in an time which called the bible the time of the antichrist. I dont know I am right, but the addiction from Media and www never was bigger before. So the time our Lord will come to pick us up is not to far anymore.

I do believe that this is man made with the intent to impose agenda 2030 on us in 2020, the intent being to reduce the population in great numbers, and microchip those that survive. Definately the Antichrist & Beast rule, Only God can see us thru.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT:

What a Prolonged Shutdown Will Cost in Human Life
COMMENTARY
.

By Jacki Deason
April 21, 2020
(AP Photo/Rick Bowmer)

Ezekiel Emanuel, adviser to presidential candidate Joe Biden and Obamacare architect, just called for a 12-to-18-month lockdown to battle COVID-19, asking us to abandon our livelihoods, religious services, and “contact with friends and extended family.” He claims we have “no choice” and that the alternative is hundreds of thousands of deaths.
He has also said that COVID-19 is a “great argument for universal health care coverage.” His plan is politically motivated — and deadly.

When President Trump expressed concerns about the shutdown, his critics presented a false choice between mitigating deaths and the economy. In reality, a great number of the most vulnerable American lives will be lost from economic shutdown, and Emanuel makes it clear that we have reached the moment where we must plead their case.
A prolonged shutdown could bring tens of thousands of deaths through spikes in rates of suicide, heart attack, missed cancer diagnoses, domestic violence deaths, substance abuse, and more. We have evidence that these deaths are coming, and the shutdown is only a month old.
A suicide spike is almost certain. One study in Taiwan indicated a 10% increase in the unemployment rate yielded approximately 30,000 suicides annually. Another global study linked the 2008 recession to a 20% to 30% increase in the relative risk of suicides.

We already had a suicide epidemic in this country before the virus, with nearly 50,000 Americans taking their own lives, and an additional estimated 1.4 million attempting to do so, in 2018 alone.
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis estimates over 52 million will be laid off just by the second quarter of 2020, for a 32.1% unemployment rate, far higher than Great Depression estimates of 20% to 25% unemployment. Should these predictions materialize, and if history can be our guide, we are going to lose tens of thousands of American lives to suicide ... or more, if these impacts of a three-month shutdown were extended to realize Emanuel’s plan of 12-18 months of shutdown.
After only a few weeks of lockdown, calls to crisis hotlines increased from 1,000 to 25,000 a day in Indiana and 8,900% (Los Angeles), with the latter reporting that one in five calls express “suicidal desire.”
Expect an increase in heart attacks, too. Disruption-related stress attacks the heart. The National Institutes of Health reported that just the one-hour, fully anticipated Daylight Savings Time change correlates with a 24% increase in daily acute myocardial infarction (“AMI” or “heart attack”). What will be the increase in heart attacks when the disruption to our lives is not just one hour, but instead 12 to 18 months?

As “elective” routine cancer screenings are delayed, we should expect missed cancer diagnoses and an increase in cancer deaths. Cancers with routine screening include breast (200,000-300,000 new cases annually), colorectal (140,000 new cases), prostate (200-300,000 new cases), melanoma (96,000 new cases) and cervical (12,000 new cases).
Domestic violence spikes in times of home confinement. After only one week of “shelter-in-place,” women’s shelters in the Dallas-Fort Worth region were fielding an increase in “extremely violent calls that are COVID-19 related,” according to Paige Flink, CEO of The Family Place. Running out of space, they diverted victims from shelters to hotels.
Also, as early as March 22, north Texas saw a spike in “severe” child abuse cases – including death. “We knew an increase in abuse was going to occur, but this happened faster than we imagined,” said Christi Thornhill, director of the Trauma Program at Cook Children’s Hospital. “. . . this happened in a week.”
For each of the above causes of death, the death toll would surely mount, depending on severity and duration of the economic lockdown. Over 12-18 months, could deaths reach hundreds of thousands? Conversely, would COVID-19 deaths reach original projections if we end the lockdown? No. Those estimates assumed we did nothing. Americans are now too educated and concerned to not take precautions. For example, a new Seton Hall poll shows that 72% of Americans have said they will not attend a sporting event until a coronavirus vaccine is developed. Trust Americans to make caring and smart decisions.
Biden adviser Emanuel warned that, “Many Americans have not yet seen first-hand what devastation a positive test can inflict.” True. Would a COVID-19 diagnosis — with a single-digit chance of death — be any more devastating than discovering a family member after a suicide? More devastating than dying in a hospice?
A narrative that pushes a false choice between the economy and human life has deadly consequences. An honest debate acknowledges that there is human life to be lost regardless of which path we choose. Let’s trust Americans to make a plan that considers life on both sides of the ledger.

There are many viruses that did not have lock downs that is true. Not every pandemic/epidemic requires lock down, that is true.

Perhaps if China had been more transparent would have had a better idea what we were dealing with, I do not see the lock downs as having a malicious intent you do. I think that is where we differ. I think people knew it was bad in China and perhaps feared the worse.
For sure China's death toll much, much higher than we know.
I wonder why, there must be a reason. It does seem the denser the population the higher the mortality rate more than anything else.

Its a mess all around that is for sure.

Flu death figure is per year. Covid death figure is based on 1 to 2 months. Bad comparison.
They got a long way to go to even surpass a flu season

A long long way

Gonna be hard with empty hospitals.

Are you aware they removed the mercy ship and took down the emergency tent hospitals that saw next to nothing patients?

Not looking too good for the false panic deal

Watch this , the hammer is coming down now on Dr Fauci .. Trump knew and set the trap is what I say ..
Yep

And I understood he was a crooked snake from the get go.
I think trump took him in as a puppet to dialog a no brainer as a team member.
Basically just mouth off the obvious.
So with trumps eagle eye starting him in the face he had to play along somewhat.
None the less, he could not do right, because,as your vid indicates,it just ain't in him.

No this is not normal for a virus. If we are at 185,000 now that means we will easily pass 300,000 with people staying at home. That is double or triple the normal rate that we see. Although WW1 & WW2 saw a huge surge in virus after the war. My dad was stationed in Germany after WW2 and they had a lot of german measles there at the time. Also they had Polo and all the childhood diseases that they vaccinated for at the time.
Those flu figures are not skewed like corona.
Also the flu figures are with a vaccine. Heavily pushed vaccine.
So your numbers are so skewed it is amazing the fear got as far as it did.

This "pandemic" was and is a dud.

43,000,000 abortions in the world in 2019. I guess that this is an acceptable mortality rate. On the plus side, the doctors performing these were wearing masks and gloves so it was politically correct murder.

Coronaviruses have been studied for decades and are not false viruses. Even though the pandemic is over, it was a positive response for harmful microbes and practicing healthy living. The numbers you posted about loss of life due to other causes are horrifying beyond belief. The last two, hunger and aborted life are man-made. My own life was rescued as an infant. I'm glad to be alive. Billions of beautiful things are happening in the world today too.

The imposed partial shutdown has served it's purpose, and presents more danger than it is preventing and people should return to work as soon as possible according to the will of God.
"Life is good."
"And God saw that it is good." (Genesis 1).

The flu vaccine is not very effective. It is more about making money then anything else. I believe Bill Gates is in to vaccines to make money. Also he loves to sell things that he basically gets for free. He is already promoting his vaccine by telling people they can not go to sporting events until they buy his vaccine.

fake news.
'what trump said was " is there a way we can get a disinfectant into the lungs? it would be interesting to check on that"

so, that is asking ( I admit a dumb) question . not suggesting folks do that.

please listen to what he says, not what the media tells you he says.
