Well this wasn’t so much on weddings specifically, but that’s a good question!! Even if you did find whom you thought God had for you, would you be willing to forgo a fancy wedding?

Fancy and large weddings might be two different things.
I would forgo a large wedding in a heartbeat if my partner agreed. Maybe a destination/vacation instead. Or a small dinner party with excellent food for a small amount of people. I’d still want a pastor to marry us, but I wouldn’t need a big ceremony at this point in my life.
If my partner wanted one, I would do it for him, but I would be ok without. I don’t know if my friends or family would be happy about that idea though.
If we have to drive more than 30 minutes to see each other, it's too far. I'm not cut out for the long-distance thing.
Had a friend many years ago who told me he and his wife got married on a cruise. Up unitl that point(was in my early 20s) I had not really thought about anything but the usual big event, etc. Would be great to find a lady who was fine with not doing the "big event"type wedding.Fancy and large weddings might be two different things.

I would go to a courthouse with a pastor in a heartbeat. Use that money for the honeymoon or a home.
I met my late second wife in an AOL Romance Christian Singles chat room. She lived in Maine and I lived in Florida. Less than 2 months later I was getting off a plane in Portland, Maine to meet my future wife. I stayed 6 days. I ended up changing my return flight to include her as well. We married 2 months later. Total distance was 1550 miles. Met my current wife on CC, I lived in Apopka, Florida which is 10 miles NW of Orlando and she lived in Clearwater, Florida which is adjacent to Tampa and St. Petersburg. We currently reside in Clearwater. Total distance was 120 miles, which, compared to Maine is just a hop, skip, and a jump away.
I think so. I've never been into the idea of a super big, fancy wedding anyway... Makes me kinda uncomfortable?

I would go to the ends of the earth for the right person for me. It's the knowing that's difficult -- are they actually the right person for me...? Without full assurance, dating / considering a potential spouse outside of one's country is certainly very complicated.
That is one thing that many persons from the east coast don't necessarily comprehend is that in the west counties encompass entirely more square mileage. New York City (302 sq miles) encompasses 5 counties (each "borough" is a separate county), whereas Los Angeles (similar population in 503 sq miles) is a speck in the middle of Los Angeles County (almost 4,800 sq Miles).
L.A. County is similar in size to Connecticut and larger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined.
No on online dating....I’d want to have coffee n not by video....besides I’m a hugger....lol
