Catholiscim is quick to use the letter of the law to try and convince the non venerable ones. That it is of the churches oral traditions that are the master teaching authority.
They must as law of men teach our sufferings are added to his. If they smoked and did burn themselves they can offer that up as partial payment that is never full. . Quick smoking. I smoked for 40 years in his mercy, knock on wood. I lost the desire.
Its not so much overcoming sin the goal of our new faith . But the grace need to pay the wage in full .
Catholiscim simply does despite to the grace of Christ .Making Christ's work of faith as a labor of his love without effect.
The bible informs us there must he heresies amongst us. But declares that doing despite to His grace is one that is not forgivable. we can use that to judge they have another gospel another teaching authroity other than the Holy Spirit.
Catholiscim gives that over to this Queen of heaven making the grace of God is represent to our father without effect by the law of the fathers. They teach Mary is the only one that received the fullness of grace, every other human gets a unknown remnant .And that she is the dispenser of mercy. (did God really say?)
Focus on sola scriptura the source or power of the gospel as it is written and keep praying for endurance as patience, the first l work of love. . the fruit of His Spirt working in us .Without it I hide from my wife.. (little bit of truth) lol
same with road rage. Take the time and figure what difference would it make is get there three seconds later. Still working on that one.
The old Simon and Garfunkel's song has become a interest. "slowdown your' moving to fast. Count the pebbles drop a few that are weighing a person down. Before you know less speeding tickets more safety . Become the Beta or Charlie dog leave the Alfa for the ones that could realize the faster they go the father they fall behind. No Sabbath rest for them .
If you did quit that would not effect how they beleive. As good increase so do those who consume. .Again thy have mankind suffering for a unknown amount of time. They most like would offer their praise to the queen wizard
I think we could say that there are only two religions in the world, the Christian one and all the rest. Since every other religion relies on the individual's good works for some kind of reward and the Roman Catholics are no different.
I was speaking to a Greek Orthodox friend, who regularly visits a monk who lives in a monastery about 2 hrs drive up in the mountains. He told me that the monk said, "there's no salvation, outside of the Orthodox Church". I told him that I'd heard the same claim is made by the RCC, he said of'course they'd say that because they came from us but we are the original and oldest Church.
I find it amazing that a bright guy like my Greek friend could be so easily mislead, by someone who's out of touch with the real world. Christ and His disciples, never isolated themselves in some mansion away from everyone else. They were in among the riffraff of society, Christ was even accused of being a wine bibber and a friend of prostitutes.
The more I look at the world, the clearer God's Word becomes. The Bible tells us that the Gospel is offensive, to wise people of the world. My friend keeps bragging about how wise his monk is, he keeps quoting his words of wisdom. He never quotes anything Christ said or what the Bible says, he places his trust in this monk who's more than happy to accept his gifts in exchange for worldly wisdom.
It's the same with all the other religions, the followers always look up to some wise guy for instruction. It makes me wonder why these people have no interest in the things of God, The apostle Paul describes such people as having 'itching ears'. They seem to seek out, those who can best tickle their ears.
I've found that most people look at the outside and if you're not successful, in the worldly sense they won't listen to what you have to say. This is why the 'prosperity preachers are so successful, folks look at them and think 'I wanna be like that'.
I'm not sure what your view is on the question of salvation, ie. is it us choosing to believe in the Gospel or is it God drawing us to Himself. In plainer words, do you believe in election and predestination or do you believe that something within us causes us to believe the Gospel, while others reject it.
I find that people are either open or closed to the Gospel, so I's have to say that God must be drawing certain people to Himself. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not stating that a persons right or wrong view on this question effects their salvation or excludes them from fellowship.
I've found that most people change their view several times, on certain Bible doctrines.
