Absolutely God allowed His word to go through a process of purification and growth. Remember, the word perfect generally means complete. The original autographs were never put together into one whole volume. God allowed His word to be preserved and translated also, and especially when His word was translated into English, that is where we see the purification process really taking off through the several different English Bibles, Great, Coverdale, Bishop's, Geneva, and so forth. Those very English Bibles which I just mentioned were all blessed By God and God did use them. For they also were pure Bibles. When God allowed His word to go through this purification process in the English tongue, even the English language was being perfected also, at the same time. Absoutely perfection and completion came in 1611, in the blessed King James Holy Bible.

Even Jesus Himself went through a process of Growth. God the Father allowed Even His only begotten Son Jesus to go through a process of growth to where He was made perfect through the things which He had suffered (Hebrews 5:8-9)

even if it was omitted it only makes the king of England's attempt to do away with the Geneva Bible the 8th English translation, and besides all that, Psalm 12 is about God's literal promise to save the poor & needy, to deliver and preserve the faithful, being pure and trustworthy, tested by fire perfectly. see verses 1 & 5 ((you know, the parts you never quote or even read?)) it is not about a translation into a foreign tongue.

The scroll was “written on the inside and the outside” (an idiom for having writing on both sides). Clearly it's a two-sided scroll not a book. How much writing do you think there could be on the outside of a book?

A lot of writing can be placed on the outside of a book, depending on how small the letters and words are.

Funny how you and Dino claim that I come up with all of these "Mystical" interpretations when both you and him cannot even produce one Physical Bible that you can hold in your hand which you believe to be the perfect and infallible word of God.

People with the Alexandrian school of thought, such James White, can NEVER point to one physical Bible that they believe to be the 100% pure and perfect word of God. But rather, you, Dino, and James White and the like can only refer to some Phantom (Mystical) Bible that you cannot even hold it in your hand nor read it. How sad. And you think my position is "Mystical" do you??

Oh no, Jaybo. I am very rational. That is why when I say I believe that the Holy Bible is God's perfect and infallible word, I can actually make that statement with full confidence. Because I can show you exactly which Bible I am referring to.

I don't have to talk out of both sides of my mouth, in other words. Like so many modern Christians today do, who have bought into the wicked satanic, Alexandrian school of thought. They say they believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, but when you ask them to specify which one, all of a sudden it gets really quiet. Sound familiar, Jaybo??

Your argument proves that 'inspired translation' is not unique to kj version.

Yes, there inspired and pure translations prior to the 1611 KJV. But the King James Bible is the final, complete and finished Bible which God has blessed, and God is still blessing it. The King James Bible, God's finished Bible, shall endure forever.

I left it out because the KJV Translators left it out in the Rules to be Observed in the Translation of the Bible:


"14. These translations to be used when they agree better with the Text than the Bishops Bible: Tindoll's, Matthews, Coverdale's, Whitchurch's, Geneva."

Psalm 12 is about God’s promise to preserve His words and it also can be about Him preserve the poor and needy. Psalm 12 shows a huge and sharp contrast between the vain, lying and unfaithful words of men and the pure, faithful and wholesome words of God. Read Psalm 12 in its full context and don’t try to pull verse 6 out of the immediate context.

Hence, Psalm 12:7 has two meanings, it has a dual application. Why are the poor and needy preserved? Because God is faithful to keep and preserve His very words. By God keeping and preserving His pure words, He also keeps and preserves the poor and needy.

It would be wise for one to come to this conviction using the version they have.

I have used the Authorized Version (KJV) since coming to true salvation in Christ. I started out using the NIV; while the NIV was enlightening in regards to God, the KJV had the power of conviction in me, not the NIV.

Just my experience.

There are many barbers, but some are better than others.

There are many Bible translations, but some are better than others.

I recommend the KJV.

Psalm 12 does not say that His word was refined seven times. It says it is pure, as silver (that has been) refined seven times.

God's word was pure from the start.

That is an impossibility. No translation (which is what the KJV is) can possibly be equal to the original language documents. That shows a complete lack of understanding about the art/science of translation.

The first two major revisions of the King James Bible came courtesy of Cambridge University, first in 1629 and then again in 1638. Cambridge scholars also made changes to the original text by incorporating a more literal interpretation of certain words. Two of the leading universities in England—Cambridge (again) and Oxford—began work on updated standard editions. Francis Sawyer Parris oversaw the Cambridge edition, and Benjamin Blayney oversaw the Oxford edition. The Cambridge edition was finished first, in 1760, but the Oxford version, which was finished nine years later, superseded it.

The original 1611 version used small “roman” type to identify such words. Because of printer’s errors and other factors, however, not all of those words were properly identified. The 1769 Oxford edition is much more heavily italicized than the original.
