The Jews put Paul on trial because of his teachings, and the trial’s outcome was to free Paul of the charge yet many in today’s church believe Paul did teach to abandon Moses. Are they correct? Did Paul’s teaching against circumcision and Jewish customs teach to abandon Moses?
Acts 21:21 They (brothers and sisters in Christ) have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs.
There is also a related issue in our church, the question about what is a Jewish custom and what is a true command of our Lord. Is everything the Jews do only a custom and we are not to do anything they do or are some of the things they do what our Lord wants from us.
Constantine, who established many of our church's doctrines, told us that anything the Jews did we must not do for the Jews were evil. The Lord told us that if we cursed the Jews we would be cursed. who is right?
