Formulating a doctrine requires taking into consideration all that the word states about any given subject(s).

"The word contains subjects to which there are more than a single reference. In order to understand the subject every reference to them must be gathered and considered as a whole. God gave each author certain fragments to record making it necessary for an interpreter to assemble these fragments. Only as these parts are pieced together can the full truth be seen as a whole.

This principle requires that no single verse relevant to any specific subject be left out in formulating the doctrinal teaching on that subject. The full truth of a subject can only be realized by a consideration of its complete mention in Scripture. No one reference can be used to contradict another, rather only to qualify it." The apostles were the first ones sent forth with the NT salvation message that was to be carried to the entire world. Jude 3 tells people where to look to find the salvation common to everyone. It says to search out what was first delivered to the saints/apostles. The obvious answer in finding out what was FIRST delivered to the apostles is to examine the book that outlines the ACTS of the Apostles. Without that foundation one can make up whatever doctrine suits them. However, with that foundation everything in Paul's Epistles makes perfect sense.

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."
Paul was the First one to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles not Peter . Paul recieved directly by Jesus.

That is utter nonsense. Just read the bible and use common sense ..What does it say , who is speaking , who to , what's the context . Is it before, after or during an event. Has something new taken place. Some folks read just fine any other book . All of a sudden give them a bible and out comes all manner of bizarre ways to read . All normal practices go out the window . Do you think God wanted us to understand or be confused ?

You are incorrect.

Peter carried the message to the Jews first as was a required. (Acts 2) He was the first to present it to Gentile individuals. (Acts 10) Also, at Philip's urging, Peter assisted, along with John, in the Samaritans receiving the infilling of the Holy Ghost.

I believe this truth is connected to Jesus' comment to Peter for him to feed His sheep (twice), and His lambs. (John 21:15-17)

I believe God wants us to love Him enough to search out and be obedient to whatever instructions He has requested of us in His word. It is a matter of faith. After stepping out in faith the spiritual significance of our actions in connection with our spiritual rebirth experience comes clearly into view.

"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." Prov 25:2

Peter has no clue about the Gentiles until Cornelius and from Cornelius . Peter does not have the Jew first and the Gentiles message at all until Cornelius.
Acts 11
14Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
15And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
THEN REMEMBERED I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18¶When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Neither one of our opinions matters. What does matter is what is found in the biblical record as witnessed at least 2 times.

For your convenience I have again provided a printout of the scriptures and have included the first time the message was given as well. Notice EACH recorded event provides answers to your questions. All people are presented with the same message and comply albeit in differing sequences:

Acts 2:36-42 (Jews)
"This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear." Acts 2:32-33

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine..."

Acts 8:12-17 (Samaritans-half jewish-half gentile)
"But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:44-48 (Gentiles)
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And HE COMMANDED them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Peter's comments to the Jewish Council about the above event:

Acts 11:13-14
And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

Acts 19:2-6 (Disciples who did not realize they had to water baptized in Jesus name)
He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Did Peter Know anything about the gentiles salvation receiving the Holy Spirit prior to Cornelius? And who recieved the mysteries about the church ( jew gentile into one body ) and the Gospel to the gentiles first?
Peter's lack of understanding that all peoples would be required to fulfill the instructions he initially gave to the Jews is of no consequence. God orchestrated what occurred.

God sent an angel to Cornelius who told him to send for Peter who would tell him how to be saved. While at the same time Peter experienced a God-given vision to prepare him to go to the Gentile Cornelius and his family.

This truth should open peoples eyes to the truth that God is in control and His ways are not always understood until after one steps out in faith and obeys His leading. Peter makes this clear through his interaction with the Jewish Council in Acts chapter 11. After seeing God give them the gift of the Holy Ghost he commanded they be water baptized in the name of the Lord as well. Who was he to withstand God? The council then understood that God had granted repentance unto life to the Gentiles. (See the last verse noted below)

Acts 11:12-18
And the spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:
And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Then it's only Paul who is received directly from Jesus the ' Gospel of Grace '
Paul's gospel message of grace was the same as Peters. Even though Jesus revealed the salvation message to him, he did not hear it from Peter. Both their messages were the same. This is evidenced by Paul's exchange with the twelve Ephesus disciples:

Acts 19:1-10
And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost SINCE ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

7 And all the men were about twelve.

8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks."

Then we have the book of Romans . Which is how we are saved in the church age , not Act s. Which is why we dont see the descriptions of Acts repeated in any letters after .
We see the same individual components; belief, repentance, baptism, etc. expanded upon by Paul in his epistles. The following is a list specifically addressing water baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost:

Paul instructs the born again Corinthians concerning the relevance of their water baptism in the name of Jesus.

Paul knew baptism was to be in Jesus’ name:

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1 Cor 1:13

Those Paul water baptized:

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 1 Cor 1:14-16

And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized. Acts 18:5

The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 3 John 1-3

I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted (devoted) themselves to the ministry of the saints,)1 Cor 16:15

Paul’s Epistles - Spirit and water baptism (Rom 6:3-5, 1 Cor 1:15-16, 1 Cor 12:13, Gal 3:27, Eph 4:4-5, Col 2:12, Titus 3:5-6, Heb 4:1-2)

Rom 6:3-5 “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” THIS IS WATER BAPTISM. HOLY GHOST BAPTISM IS DONE BY GOD, AND IS NOT DONE INTO JESUS CHRIST.

1 Cor 1:15-16 “Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.” ALL WATER BAPTISMS WERE PERFORMED USING A NAME. (JESUS)

1 Cor 12:13 “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” SPIRIT BAPTISM

Gal 3:2 “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” SPIRIT BAPTISM After hearing about the need to receive the Holy Ghost one steps out in faith to receive the gift.

Gal 3:27 (Water Baptism) “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

Eph 4:4-5 (One Spirit, one water baptism) “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,”

Col 2:12 (Water Baptism) “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.”

Titus 3:5-6 (Water and Spirit Baptism) “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;”

Heb 4:1-2 “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.”

This has nothing to do with a specific denomination. It's what is in the word.

I am familiar with and study Paul's epistles. They contain detailed information concerning the foundational components of the salvation plan outlined in Acts. In addition, Paul's letters instruct those who have already been born again regarding what conduct is acceptable and pleasing to God.

i believe what many fail to realize is that obedience to the God-inspired instructions outlined in Acts is how each individual's foundation is put into place. One's belief in Jesus being the cornerstone, and repentance, water baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost comprising the other 3 corners. Without a proper foundation individual's are building on sand.

Col 2:12 (Water Baptism) “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.”\\\\

ONE LORD , ONE FAITH , ONE !!!! BAPTISM .
13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Washing ( trigger for the Lords navy ) of a ceremony ? No washing with H20 ? no Of REGENERATION ( No H20 )
/// Rom 6:3-5 “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” THIS IS WATER BAPTISM. HOLY GHOST BAPTISM IS DONE BY GOD, AND IS NOT DONE INTO JESUS CHRIST.\\\\\ No water mentioned ???
Col 2:12 (Water Baptism) “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.”///// No water in the verse ( The Lords navy is assuming the word Baptism is water here??? )
Here's a radical thought . Where there is no mention of water , why are you inserting ' water ' ??? The Lords navy has mis led you my friend . Look for water then you will see the context . No water ? Don't add water .

Of course it does . If you attend church that believes where no mention of water is used in the verse that this must be water BAPTISM then that church is decieved or decieving

I've been to churches that teach what your promoting , I know the script . The whole foundation of this variety of Pentecostal teaching is based on one verse ( Acts 2.38 )the church of Christ , AOG ect that's why your obsessed with the ACTS OF WHO ? THE APOSTLES . The Gospel is not one verse in Acts .This is false teaching . Wake up !!!

I see but one way and it began when Jesus said it would. Read Luke 24:47.

Please provide the 5 ways you see that a person can be saved from the Book of Acts.

Thanks!
After the resurrection of Christ we find, in the first seven chapters of the book of Acts, that the believers continued to preach to the Jews first before they were scattered to take the good news to the Gentiles. The message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ began to be preached to Israel. Read carefully the statements and sermons of the apostles in Acts 2-7, and this will be perfectly clear. Prior to Acts 8, no one preached that an individual could be saved solely on the merits of the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Though no one ever came to the Father but by Jesus Christ, this was not clearly understood prior to His resurrection (1 Peter 1:10-12). When the Ethiopian eunuch was taught from Isaiah by Philip, we find an individual Gentile converted by preaching the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53). He was saved by grace through faith and baptized afterwards. From this point forward, the men who had preached the good news to the Jew first began to take it to the ends of the earth.
Saul of Tarsus is converted by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 9) and is called to be the apostle to the Gentiles (Romans 11:13). His gospel message, found in 1 Corinthians 15, is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, according to the scriptures. These great gospel truths of the suffering Saviour paying for the sins of the world with His own precious blood are found throughout the Old Testament writings, but prior to the conversion of the apostle Paul, they were hid from the hearts and minds of men. When Paul wrote to the body of Christ in Colossians 1, he said that the gospel message of salvation by grace and birth into the church of God and the body of Christ was a mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints (Colossians 1:26). The salvation of the soul through faith in the finished work of Christ is taught all through the law and the prophets but was not revealed until the Holy Spirit bade Paul unfold such truth in his epistles.
