If I'm looking to myself is that trusting in Jesus ?
With all due respect, I believe you know I am not referring to not following Yeshua rather to look at on-s own deeds. Sorry for being colloquial.

So in order to be saved keep commandments ? isn't this what cults teach and false religions?
Does not the post say to look at Christ's commands. If you know what they are then look at them. Until then you will have to think about it a bit.

don't you mean abey the commands and do them ,what ever this list specifically is ( You may need to elaborate) So is this how we come to Jesus to be saved ? to be saved from the penalty of sin ?

looking at our deeds is looking to ourselves. Rather than Trusting Jesus for salvation.

Are you looking to yourself? Probably not. You know that all the works you can do over a lifetime wouldn't have been enough to save you right? Jesus gets you into the Kingdom. Works keep you busy once you get here.

no.no.no.things not like this,if you don't put your trust in Jesus,It will doesn't work well,In my own opinion, if it is not from the heart, but only pay attention to our deeds, it will not work well。

You seem to chase contention. Were I to elaborate completely on my studies of the pas half century, you would certainly run back and read it yourself.
We are sinners until we leave this age, just as was David the King. He wrote about all who truly know Grace, "Blessed is the man against whom God does not impute the guilt of his sin." This would be anyone who has received the free blessing of Salvation by the Blood of the Lamb of God.
God-s mercy is fresh every day as is taught through Jeremiah. As for obeying laws,, if we have learned directly from Yeshua, that is to many, Jesus, all laws of morality which include faith, justice and mercy are yet to be obeyed for they make up love, but his must be learned from His teaching.
If you want to know best, read all Yeshua teaches us for His burden is light.....He gives us rest.

As Christians we are probably going to say that we are trusting in Jesus for salvation .But it seems that this may not be the case for all . How can we be trusting in Jesus if we have to do our part ? some are adding ' obedience ' others its ' deeds of faith ' . Some say we have to continue to confess and repent ,whilst others its a life proved by holiness and fruit baring . Have we really trusted in Christ if we are still looking to ourselves ?
Trusting in Jesus is trusting in the same God that made our Salvation necessary. We're asking to be saved from God's plan.

all we have to do IS LOOK at Christ's Commands =
as it is written:
'If you love Me, KEEP My Commandments'..
Do Jesus’ words in John 14:15 pertain to good stewardship or maintaining salvation?

What kind of dialoging are you practicing? Who here has said otherwise?
I recognise the name Jesus . No need to highlight ' yeshua ' . We often get some ' holy namers ' sometimes. So for me Jesus is the name above all names .

I'm familiar with ' Torah observers ' and other such groups who always want to tell us how we need to refer to Jesus to be more authentic. Which is just another legalistic add on . If that's not you ,then my apologies .

Gee gosh, I use the name given by the Angel, and the name the disciples and His Father and mother called Him by, and you have a hissy fit about it.
If you were the intellectually you have attempted to portray yourself as you would know that Yeshua is the transliteration of His name in Hebrew, and that is His name, the name above all names.
You would also know that Yesu, Iesous, and Jesus are transliterations from the same name.
His name may be translated for real as Redeemer of Yahweh or simply Redeemer Yah.

This is why Mary was instructed to call the Babe, Yahweh-s Redeemer. (For He shall save His people).

Those English translations are NOT transliterations but the reason why He is called Yahweh-s Redemption. Does this confuse you? Think about it. Look in the OT where our Father declares, "I am your Redeemer." Did you know He says this. He also says, "I am your husband." He also says "I am your King."

All of this is the one you call Jesus. I love to call Him by the name HIs Father gave Him. It is the name above all names...

I realize you mean to call Him your Savior when you say Jesus, and this I accept from you and from all, but do not doubt I mean His name when i USE IT.

Thought so . Yeah I know exactly the term Yeshua . My point was about false groups like ' Torah observers ' Who obsess about ' names ' and seek to put everyone under bondage. Every heretical group has an obsession with something they believe only the true initiated have access to . That secret hidden wisdom only revealed to those truly worthy and chosen.

It is you who u who appears to belong to a "group"
Since I was brought to Jesus by the Holy Spirit, and given the knowledge of salvation independent of being told about the infilling of the Holy Spirit, I have not insulted Him by calling myself by the name of any of the apostate denominations. Jesus, Whom I love to call by His actual name with understanding, teaches me that I am of the faith of Abraham, and of the Israel of God, that mat making me a true Praiser of Yah, or from the Hebrew a true Jew, not of the synagogue of Satan but of the assembly of Yah, as I suppose you are. Please do not fault my understanding with pat accusasti9ons which are so tired and untrue. Rather you should look into what I have share. Now I pray you love me as I do you, and are able to allow me to follow the path given me by Yeshua... I like to believe He has giv en you your path. Good night from here....be well always.

I honestly do not see why this is so hard for some to grasp.
Part 1. We are saved by His Grace through faith, by no work of our own. We were spiritually dead haters of God, unable to please Him at all in ANY way, in our flesh. Then when we see our way in truth, for the hopeless, pointless mess that it is and turn to Him He saves us.
He saves us and we offer nothing for this gift. Nothing. We are saved by His grace and don't get to boast about a thing, because we did nothing at all, can do nothing at all to be saved. All God, none us. This is salvation, this is being saved. The end, of salvation.

Part 2. Now what? Do we just sit around forever talking about how works didn't save us, and how we never have to do any work for God? Did you know salvation isn't the finish line? Did you know it was just the part where God resurrects our spirits and reconciles us to Him making us whole? Did you know that having our spirit alive and tied back into His as we were created to exist now opens our eyes and ears to the truth, and being indwelt by His Spirit empowers us to now have the ability to live in a way that is pleasing to our Lord. Before we couldn't please Him, now by His grace we can, and not only can, but we actually DESIRE too. See this is WHY He saves us, to reflect His glory onto His creation for His glory. So this idea that you are putting forth that we HAVE to do these "works", or that they're required to keep salvation is completely wrong, I agree 1000% with that, and honestly I haven't seen anyone here teaching blasphemy like that. However I have seen a LOT of people say "works are evidence of ones salvation", or works are a "result" of having been saved, then have seen others telling them they are preaching "works salvation" wrongly. So my point here is that saying works will be present in the truly saved persons life is absolutely NOT saying works buy or sustain salvation. I'm not sure at all what you were aiming this comment at, but I agree with what you said though, as long as it's not aimed at someone who's not saying works save.

Just to add, because this is often where the conversation jumps to now anyway, no there is not a list of acceptable works, or a certain amount required, or any kind of quota that "keeps you saved". God works in each one of us personally and uses us for His glory, so there is no comparing or contrasting what works God might be leading us to do, so please no "what works do I have to do, how many, at what time?" kinds of questions. Those only God can tell you.

Actually the op is past tense I trust him daily.
As far as I know he's still upon the throne.
Yes I'm trusting him with my very life to complete the work he has started.
To follow the way that he leads. In spite of what the world says is truth I trust his word.

For me its a lot simple . When you realise you are eternally saved forever after you Believe eph 1.13-15 Then you want to tell others this good news . Part of the issue concerning this matter is Satan knows that a true believer cannot be lost , but seeks to cast doubt, despair and confusion so that you become unfit to reach others This is what Paul is warning about , over and over . So christians will spend most of their time wasted on trying to ' stay saved ' that they barely share the Gospel . Why share if you don't even know if your going to make it . Or even if they do share , love is not the motivation but fear . Some People make ' works ' everything but the main work and that is to save others .

For me, I realised how true is it that, in every dispensation, only a remnant believe.

Even in this grace dispensation, Christians form a minority of the population. In my country it is less than 20%

This is despite Christianity being the only religion that has salvation apart from works
