I think there is a scripture that says that God does that
Are you referring to

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

The passage started out about a short life. To not be dismayed...

I found it. It's in a book protestants don't consider inspired. Sorry about that.

For those that teach that christians can still go to hell after they are saved . Would it not be better to die before we can later mess it all up ? like the theif on the cross . He had no works to show and no opportunities to fail and when he died we know he was saved .
I believe this reveals a fatal flaw in the theology of those that hold to conditional salvation . We would see a disadvantage for those that live longer . You might say well the longer we live the more 'growth ' and blessings . But this would be a small consolation to an eternity in the lake of fire . This is when we see the inconsistency to this position brought to the surface . which I hope to discuss here .
Psalm 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Ephesians 2:8 - "for by grace are ye saved through faith . . ."

That verse used the Greek perfect tense for "saved" which indicates completed action with ongoing results. So that means I was saved in the past with ongoing results . . .! PTL! And I have been on this earth ever since I was born . . . So I have been saved while I have been on Earth.

No, you probably will not find a verse that says it in those exact words - that is - no verse says "we are saved while still on earth".
Since those that are, by grace, saved through faith live or had lived live on the earth common sense says that it is implied 'we are saved while still on earth'. I concur with your estimation.

my point is more towards those that hold to loss of salvation. clearly they hold to this with great concern . I always remember listening to David Pawson preaching on this , that millions of Christians will end up in hell through losing their salvation. I'm sure its in his books. He's not alone with the heavy warnings towards believers to keep ' themselves ' in the love of God . That we have to ' abide ' or be cut off . David Pawson also wrote a book ' once saved always saved ? ( with a question mark of course . Listing 80 verses on how we can lose salvation . So with this in mind , I can see the advantage of not living too long as a Christian because of the odds increased for those that will fail. Where as the lucky ones who go quicker are at a greater advantage . This is just one of many inconsistencies with this fatal position.

So let me ask you a question:

How do you know you were saved to start with? Your conversion experience may simply be a pretext of your imagination? Maybe only an intellectual experience? After all, I bet you have some sins in your life that you haven't been able to overcome yet. In fact, last night I saw you . . . __________________!!! (Just kidding, actually :p). And is it possible that you might go down the road of sinning worse and worse . . . ???? So I really wonder if you were ever really born again to start with? You can't really be sure because if your life of sinning gets much worse others will soon be doubting your conversion experience. Maybe you had better go try to do a better job at being converted just to be sure??!!
Thats a question for a Calvinist / Arminian .

I don’t think you should see it that way because it can easily be turned around. Those living longer have more time to fully obey Gods word. Our saving demands respect and obedience to the Lord.
When we are saved we are saved because we repent our sins. I don’t think reborn christians are free from their fallen nature but are saved of their sins through the cross.

We sin because we participate in this world.

We are not saved by repenting of sins . Otherwise Jesus dying for our sins was redundant. We are saved by believing what Jesus did for our sins . His death , burial and resurrection according to the scriptures.

Yes Jesus died for your sins, so you could see the truth, the way and the life. But if we do not repent our sins we will not be saved. You must take up His cross and follow where He goes. If we remain worldly we did not pick up our cross. We remained in sin.

It takes more then believing He died, rose again. If it were that easy my place in heaven is asured. He died that all men MIGHT be saved. The choice is ours and it’s not done by faith alone.

Matthew 25:31-46 gives great insight on this and is spoken by the Big Chief Himself.

You know Jesus died for the sins of the world . So why are you saying there's still sins you need to clear up for him ?

I also believe the wages of sin is death . Thats why we die.
Jesus did not sin ,but died non the less . But not for himself..but for entire cosmos .Everyone who ever lived ,EVERYONE before ,during and after . He died reconciling the entire cosmos . I take this verse literally .
2 cor 5.19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Are you saying this did not happen ?
Of course it happened - just exactly as the text and the context of the text say it happened.

But I don't think it happened as your interpretation of the verse goes . . .

Not sure to be honest. The more I read the Bible the more it concerns me. I felt Jesus hand and from the moment I got touched the biggest problems vanished in an instant.
Yet I am a sinner buying material things I better should not buy, eating things I should not eat etc.

Jesus died and rose again. Jesus conquered the world (by not becoming equal to it) and we can only conquer this world through Him. If you think Jesus took all sins with Him on the cross, take another look in the world. And I somehow believe we are all repsonsible on some level as human enterprise.

If we still like this world we must remember this world killed Jesus.

Thats not salvation, my friend . Jesus has died for you and all of your sins he paid for. He died for the sins of the world . Thats why its good news . How do we recieve this ? Through faith . Believe that Jesus has died for you sins . He died for this , was buried and he rose again . We are saved immediately upon faith ( believing on Jesus ) in what He has done for you. If Jesus has touched you and you believed the of course we still struggle . But once you are his then you are safe because the Holy Spirit is given as the promise for your future Glorification . Thats how we live now . Its not by feelings . its about God's promise to all those that believe and who recieved Jesus .
