Watched it tonight, vote was tallied and its official 5:08PM PST

(Susan Collins) from Maine jumped ship and voted (No) with the 47 democrats

She's in a tough race in Maine against a Democrat for her Senate seat, ole Mitch McConnell gave her a pass, they didnt need her vote, as Romney & Murkowski came through for the 52/48 majority.

Swearing in TBA, most likely Wednesday, Thursday?

6/3 Conservative Majority US Supreme Court, WOW!

Susan Collins could have played a part in an historical Senate confirmation vote, instead she has become a negative historical footnote. I can't see how voting no on this most important confirmation will help her chances in her reelection. If any thing, it may cost her votes. Good riddance. Having had the misfortune of living in that God-forsaken place for 8 years I can say that the state of Maine is politically insignificant and its economic impact on the country as a whole is negligible. State is a virtual economic dead zone.

We could put her to work tomorrow!

I must admit, it was a joy watching Chuckie Schumer jump around and cry at the podium, as the democrats gave a thumbs down when their vote was called for :giggle:

I'll believe it makes a difference when I see positive action against abortion, and for the first and second amendment.

I can see Roe v Wade reversed withing 2 years, with the legal definition of a (living human being) being at conception, all 50 states and territories will be under jurisdiction of this ruling

There will be no other option for the states, but to stop killing the innocent unborn under this ruling, or face the consequence of murder.

I have my doubts. I've heard that over and over again, and it hasn't happened yet. Just keep praying that God will finally put an end to this barbaric practice.

Barbaric is a Big understatement, it's pure satanic evil in my opinion.

Looking at the Justice's track records?

Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Barrett, solid right to life in their conservative history on decisions as my research shows

Justice Robert's wife was past president and representing Attorney for a right to life org (Femenist For Life) Alaska's Sarah Palin belongs also

Roe v Wade in killing the unborn will soon be a thing of the past, stopped in all 50 states and territories

It seems that the extreme right is just as ignorant as the extreme left of the duties and capabilities of the Supreme Court.

Roe v Wade wrongly created a non-existant (Constitutionally speaking) right thus forcing all 50 states to legalize abortion however, overturning Roe v Wade will not somehow make abortion illegal, it will merely return the issue of abortion to each individual state as it was prior to the original decision. Liberal states such as NY, NJ, CA, etc will continue to have the same laws that they do (free access to abortion) whereas more conservative states will be able to limit/restrict access to abortion or outlaw it completely.

I strongly disagree, when the definition of (Constitutional Personhood) is defined and applied to the (Innocent Unborn Child) in the US Supreme Court, it will be against the law to kill this living person, in all 50 states and territories.

Is it currently against the law to kill a person in all 50 states and territories? 100% Yes

The Constitutional Person
A broad definition of “constitutional personhood” is the status of a human being or legal entity with some or all constitutional rights. Constitutional rights are normally protected against governmental (or state) action. “Persons” are protected in the US Constitution in the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendment, from governmental (state or federal) action.

Right, it's more likely tough limits will be set on it than Roe being overturned. My state won't change because we have a Dem governor. Hopefully he will be tossed out next go round. So important for Christians not only to vote, but to run for office if they are able. We have a young lady in our church running for office and we support her as much as we can. If you want to see change, be change.

I disagree, once the unborn is defined as a (Person) at conception by the US Supreme Court, Abortion at any stage of pregnancy is outlawed in all 50 states and territories, (Done)

Liberal democratic Governors will have no say, the unborn child is protected as a (Person) just as you or any other living (Person)

True. Even abortion necessary to save the life of the mother would be forbidden because that person in her womb has rights.

Years ago something to that effect was pursued by the legislature in Georgia.
Personhood at conception. The effort failed.
Part of the bill package included language that would have allowed a woman who miscarried to be the subject of a police investigation under suspicion of an induced abortion on her part to circumvent the law banning all abortion.

One thing I do know, when the Supreme Court reverses Roe v Wade and adopts personhood, the blood will no longer be on the hands of the governing body and taxpayer.

If the mother wants to commit murder it's on her hands, and that of authority if she gets caught, it's that simple.

Save A Whale On Sunday, Kill A Child On Monday?

Sorta Morbidly Sick Don't Ya Think, Evil?

Actually, abortion access since the '73 Roe V. Wade decision hasn't been without its limitations over these past years.
Remember, the Hyde Amendment insures government, our tax dollars, do not fund an abortion. Also, women's access to abortion has been restricted more and more since Roe V. Wade. And abortion providers are not as numerous as they once were in some states.

Also the legislature in a state can make abortion conditional. There are now laws that make a woman's decision to abort conform to a waiting period. There are also states that require a woman to submit to an ultrasound. Ultrasound is something that has been an issue for the pro-life movement since the 1990's.
The last I heard there were something like 14 states that made ultrasound, either the literature of the procedure, mandatory for any woman seeking an abortion.

Therein we find that while Roe V. Wade is still on the books, and quite frankly I don't foresee it being repealed, it does not mean that abortion is full access.

There was never a question that Roe v Wade has been restricted in some states as you explain.

We will disagree, I believe (Personhood) will be decided and granted by the US Supreme Court, to the unborn child at known conception, and will have the constitutional right as all (Persons) in the US and its territories.

We have a 6/3 conservative US Supreme Court, and cases are pending in the lower courts, it wont be long.
