I don’t know about the numbers, but I thought I was gonna stay married forever, but alas, my long time marriage failed and I reckon I’m a part of that statistic.
Sorry to hear that, JM. I've been there.

To the title question: please define "Christmas cookies"; if you mean those horrible icing-covered floury shapes made with rolling pin and press-cutters, I'd rather go wife-hunting any day... or engage in almost any other form of self-flaggelation.

'a cookie is a sometime food'
a wife is easy to find...she is the one yelling at her husband, who is carrying all the christmas shopping. The car is parked at green 45 E!
The husband nods his head 'yes' as if he's listening and then says he is sorry for his latest infraction.

Join the club. My first marriage in 1978 ended in divorce in 1984. After a few years I came to the realization that it was a blessing in disguise. Your marriage was long-term and I'm a bit sad that it ended. Yes, you are part of the divorce statistic but you are not alone in this regard.

Rupees are a currency that are practically worthless compared to the rubies so are more affordable to a man that is on a budget looking for a wife.

Actually, yeah, so I would say that my wife would be valued of the rubies and not rupees. :)
I thought rupees are what they use in Zelda's kingdom.

Or did you mean rubles?
