Well recently someone told me I should marry anyone who gave me chocolate caramels (or was it carmel chocolates?) but I considered that an insufficient test of marriage worthiness.
On a slightly more serious note there was a quote from a really not that great movie where the couple is making up in the end and they say something about I'd rather fight with you than love anyone else, that might be a good perspective to keep.
And back to the humorous: "Are marriages made in heaven, maybe, but so are hurricanes and tornadoes?"

I was told to do a background check before I go out with anyone....probably good advise, lol. Also if the person says he is a Christian, I need to quiz him on a few Biblical issues and see if he knows what he is talking about...another good idea, lol.

Actually I divvy them up pretty evenly between an easy starter or two then intermediate, advanced, and expert level questions. I think I made the rule that they all had to be ones I could answer, but that only saves you from some really really obscure names or the quote a random verse type of questions. So everyone gets some right but no one gets all of them right, keeps it interesting.

actually the nz flag comes in two versions, blue and red. We had a big referendum a couple of years ago the prime minster wanted to see if we could change it, and remove the union jack, but most people thought it was a huge waste of money to have a referendum on it.
Theres were also some complaints its too much like Australia's.
Personally I'm not too fussed if we have a flag or not. If we want to wave anything it should be our hands in the air. Or maybe palm or fern fronds.
The whole red flag dating advice thing is probably the worst. Also it kinda insults the people who's flags ARE red. Its not like they can choose the colour anyway. Besides, arent you meant to swim between the yellow and red flags?
If you ever venture on some relationship advice website or know-it-all magazine article it will give you at least 10-50 red flags to watch out for. Im like man, just call it something else. How can anybody remember the 50 red flags anyway. Why dont they just say just dont date at all, but if you actually do, take a chaperone. Obviously its such a dangerous activity to do alone that there needs to be warning signs plastered all over the place!
Coincidentally, last week on the job I heard a 30 year old woman talking about this very topic.Some people told me to just have a child...doesn't matter who is the father lol as long as they can give me a child...because they say it is hard to get old without children and alone

My second thought was, "From what I hear casual sex isn't that hard to find. What's her problem?"
My third thought was, "Good luck with that. I've seen a LOT of people try to have sex without all the relationship junk, but I have never seen ANYBODY make it work."
