Which is why it is important to read the scripture and learn what Jesus was actually teaching. Not just superimpose yourself into the passage where it suits you.
A good example is the good samaritan, yeah, for all you late to the ball. Jesus is the good Samaritan, he is teaching about himself.

Probably from burning-up arrogant Eternal Damnationist's with my Universalist Blowtorch -
Never met an honest Damnationist proposing Damnationism.
I'd like to think universal salvation is true. It's an attractive idea. It's appealing. But I can't, it's just not so.

And I can't protest to God about it, I mean, who am I, next to my Maker? I don't deserve to be spared.

It's amazing that He saves anyone at all

The idea is off base. It's an error to approach scripture from the stand point of trying to find yourself in the passage. All scripture is about Jesus. The approach to understand the parable of the ten virgins is to ask what is Jesus teaching. What he is Teaching is that He is going to return and some will be ready and some will not. The ones who were ready came prepared so that they would not be distracted by perceived necessity. The ones who are not ready are so because, they are concerned about perceived necessity. Things that are material and of this world. So if the question is are your ready for the return of the Lord today, or are you rather concerned about material things of this world? Then you have a valid question. If it is where do you see yourself in scripture it is not a valid question.
Casting judgement upon people because they are not looking for themselves in the passage but do not know how to articulate the thing that is in their heart, as I was able to; is out of line. Quite frankly it raises some red flags.
yes
Sorta.
The parable is the gathering of the gentile bride.
Half the church is left behind.
Half gathered.

5 out of 10.
Mat 24 has that same ratio in the gathering from the "2".
....Another 50%

Yes. The misapplication of that one small 's' (referring to PLURAL virginS), not to mention its CONTEXT, has led to many false ideas, such as:

--"partial-rapture theory"

--"Millennial-exclusion theory [for any member of 'the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY']"

--"'lose-your-salvation' theory"

--men thinking they can "marry" numerous women at the same time

--and so many more...
so who is the one bride?
Paul?
Peter?

How rediculous

The many brides of David testifies against your need for such an outlandish reframing of the bride.
David is the fore runner of Jesus.
In rev 19 the bride had become the wife. Thousands of redeemed.

Not one person.
The parable is spot on.
No need to change it for your theory of some supper on earth.

However, this parable is not limited to Jews. It applies to the Church. And even Matthew speaks of the Church. Once you start slicing and dicing as to what applies to Jews and what to Gentiles, what you get is a mess.
If he is a pauline only.....you will never connect with them.

You can not possibly avoid a partial rapture.

Jesus told CHRISTIANS, born again believers, " pray that YOU may be counted WORTHY to escape the things about to come upon the earth...."

WORTHY

the 10 virgin parable is a "worthyness" parable.

Jesus takes the 5 virgins ( not one as you suggest) into a room and the door is shut( mind you it is obvious it is the wedding chamber.... But you find a way to discard that dynamic).

The nominal pew sitters return with "oil" and are cast WHERE????

Into suffering!!! THE GT!!!
Yes indeed...they are beheaded or take the mark.
Then are found later, in heaven, before the throne, as the innumerable number.

Then in mat 24 Jesus shifts into "before the flood" TIMEFRAME.
IN THAT NEW TIMEFRAME, Jesus frames noah, one taken/ left, and watching and being ready!!!
Hello...the rapture!!!

Still not convinced??
The parable of the 10 virgins is practically in the same breath.
(Just a few sentences later.)

Over and over in the 7 letters to the 7 churches jesus speaks of WORTHINESS.
"Unless you do THIS i will do THAT"

THE CHURCH is not the bride.
PART OF the church is the bride.

Those Jesus says are worthy.
( roughly half the church) as depicted in mat 24 and 25.

Jesus tells THE CHURCH "because you have kept my word...I WILL KEEP YOU out of the trial...."

That is a PERCENTAGE of the church.
Partial Rapture ...AUTHENTICATED BY JESUS..
Rock solid.

B-B-B-Banned! Which he will be for a fifth time soon.
If his position is so right on...why is he so angry.
Seems he has no peace.

Jesus always brings me into joy.
Marvelous wonderful joy.

Joy is a weapon.
The joy of the lord is my strength

The text does not say that. That is inductive reasoning, and is therefore conjecture.

What does it say in light of your correct interpretation and my incorrect conjecture?

show me the proper interpretation and why it HAS to be that way.
