Adam "knowingly" committed sin. It is most likely that he knew the consequences of their actions and yet still committed sin. Adam loved his wife so much, that he joined her in sin. Gentlemen, do we love our wives this much?;)
Hopefully not....He knew better than going against the Lord's command yet done it anyways to please Eve.

That's not love.

He didn't show love for God or Eve by his actions.

Then when God showed up. He knew he had disobeyed him so he threw Eve under the bus first thing. Tried to blame her instead of manning up to his own sin.

That's not love, either....just saying

Apparently the concept of "relevance" has eluded you. That's unfortunate.
So you do not believe that they are not related to one another even though both are the truth?
I believe they are related by the truth.

To put a magical tree in the middle of garden and say, “Don’t eat it,” isn’t logical.
oic, logic is king. btw, is adding the word 'magical' to tree, logical or emotional?

Adam and Eve were created with an innocent nature.

God put the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden for He gave them a choice.

But they could eat from the tree of life because they were innocent.

Since they were created innocent it would of never entered their mind to eat from the forbidden tree, and they would of never wanted to do it nor could they for they did not have that capability to sin.

The only way they could sin is if an outside source tempted them with an alternate reality and since God gave them a choice He allowed Satan to tempt Eve which she said they cannot eat of the tree for that is all she could think and know.

Then Satan tempted her with an alternate reality that if she ate from the tree she would be as a god an elevated position, and possibly that God could not touch her in her elevated position to be like a god.

Eve ate from the tree and sinned, and then Eve was the outside source that tempted Adam by showing him she did not die and nothing happened to her, and possibly told her that he would be elevated as a god, and Adam ate and sinned.

Then God ousted them from the garden and protected the tree of life for if they ate from the tree in their sinful position then they would stay that way and there would be no reversal, and they could not be saved and their offspring could not be saved.

The Two Trees
Something that many overlook is that the story mentions two trees. The tree of knowledge is what people most distinctively remember about that story. The other of course, is the tree of life. Both trees were special. One gave knowledge. The other, had some role in maintaining life to Adam and Eve and possibly to the animals as well.
The promise given for eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was death.

Adam and Eve existed in the natural without eating of the Tree of Life.

Adam is not commended in Scripture for his disobedience and foolishness. He should have loved his wife enough so that she would not have had a dialogue with the devil. At the very least, he should have thrown that serpent out of Eden.
That's assuming he understood what the serpent was.

This reminds me of what the serpent said to Eve..., "Yea, hath God said," (Gen 3.1). His game of doubt is being played out in you.

Sounds like you have been indoctrinated in a liberal seminary and have been brainwashed in humanistic rationalism. A modern day Sadducee, rejecting the miraculous. You might as well toss out all the miracles in the Bible.
Again this holds so true...

Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
If God is the same yesterday and today and forever, why is He so different throughout scripture? One week He’s speaking existence into completion then takes a six thousand year vacation from creating? Believe every word literally and insult me as you see fit. I don’t know what the point of praying for wisdom is if everything is plainly translated in English for all to unquestioningly accept?
