When anyone obtains anything from any tool, it is a lesson learned.

People learn from all books and ultimate Truth fro the Good Book.

Those who are not in spirit and dtruth will obtain only words from the Book, however they will never attain truth without the guidance fro above, from the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is certainly a source of learning so how can anyone in truth say it does nott teach. Someone is fooking himself.
The bible says things . You can hoodwink a lot of folks by saying " the bible teaches the doctrine here " or " Matthew such and such verse is teaching ....." No the bible says in Matthew .....

I'm not sure I get your reasoning here... Surely people can be hoodwinked when people say the ''bible says'' and not just when they say the ''bible teaches''?

Once more you are disputing words. You say the Bible says, and this is abject truth and permissible. Yet if another says the Bible teaches you consider that one self-deluded and perhaps even stupid.
This is the epitome of hypocrisy.

How so ?,and don't hold back on how you feel lol
this why I think you will be needing to go. You are patronizing others here. Yet You are pithy which I do like, you think you can dismiss others' comments by what you think is some kind of intellectual mumbo jumbo. it is not.

The Bible which means "Books" has teaching in it FYI The Law was taught therefore it is teaching. Jesus taught his disciples which they were instructed to teach all others and Make Disciples. I don't know if you are trying to be cute LOl but you are being absurd.

The fact is the bible doesn't ' teach ' ,but rather it SAYS .
When the Bible says something, then it also teaches something. So the Bible does teach, because it is the Word of God. How could you know anything about creation or salvation unless the Bible had taught you the truth?

Ok next time you hear " This verse ' teaches ' or " the Bible teaches such and such ,this usually will be at the cost of what it ' says ' .

This is why when people tell me “I’m a Bible believing Christian”, it doesn’t mean anything to me. I can’t tell you how many churches I’ve been to and listened to that all read out of the same Bible and come to different conclusions about what it says.

Again the post is not " The bible doesn't have teaching in it " . You gave an example where we read Jesus teaching the diciples . So if anyone said the bible no where says that Jesus taught the disciples ,we can point them to the verses that SAY otherwise.

FYI one who has been to many churches is one who is being tossed to fro with everything. it is called a rebel and is rebellion and an unruly and unteachable spirit. Most likely they had to ask you to leave instead of throwing you out.

That's not the issue. Were you taught by the Holy Spirit to believe that all this is true (vs all the pseudo-science and false religions in the world)?

Your question reveals your misunderstanding of the issue that the OP is addressing.
