I’m not sure why checking to see if first aid is part of the mandatory portion of the continued education would be necessary.

I’m sure they can renew their licenses and get through with their continuing education without having to lie, of course. But that doesn’t necessary mean that they would be willing to go through that process 😅😅

well, if its not on you, so not sure why you even need to be involved then. you are not the one doing the course or needing then license. Its actually nothing to do with you.

so theres no need to lie for other people. If my parents or sibling wanted me to do things for them all the time I would just say no. They are adults, they can take responsibility for themselves. Im not going to take my brothers exam for him. He needs to do it himself. If he doesnt do it, or does it and doesnt pass, thats nothing to do with me.

I had this boss who boasted to me that he cheated and lied on his eye exam. and his hearing test. I was like why would you even do that. If you actually cant see properly, what would be the point of pretending you can see. (he memorized the letters on the eye chart test apparently)

When we all had to have hearing tests, he told me later that he cheated on that too. I was like what. So he really was deaf but pretended he could hear.

um ok. it was not fun working for someone with total disregard for health and safety.

You are asking a hypothetical question concerning an event which has not taken place. Talk to your parents ... let them know they are putting themselves and the salon owner at risk. Your parents might heed your advice and complete their courses as required.

Hmm, if I may ask, why are you looking at examinations? if that’s what ur doing.

My parents seem to not require examinations. From what I’ve been told, they take an exam to get their licenses, but not to renew their licenses, if I remember correctly.

I looked at both renewal and interpreter. the exam information came up when I searched for interpreter info.

In the state where I live, it appears there is quite a variety of language capability (100 + languages you can choose from).

My mother is willing to work through a translation of the course material (if I’ll be able to translate, I hope I can at least put together something mediocre).
The problem is, my mother would like for me to go ahead and go through the process of renewing the Nail technician licenses of my mom and dad.
I feel like this is wrong and dishonest perhaps, because they haven’t really done their CE (continuing education) yet.
And I don’t think my Dad will do any work regarding this.
I’m pretty sure can have someone who can speak Vietnamese help them with renewing their licenses for $500 or they can have me do it for free.

What do you think I should do?

Explain to your parents what you believe about what they are asking you to do ... that it is not something you want to do for them.

God works on our hearts when we are doing something (or thinking about doing something) we shouldn't be doing. If we ignore God's proddings and do whatever we want anyway, that is not a good way for us to live our lives. And sometimes when God works on our hearts and we do as He guides us, we end up irritating other people who think we should do what they want us to do. At that point, we need to stick with God.
