You bring up an important matter. Kindness and gentleness are indeed fruit of the Holy Spirit, and Christians who are failing to demonstrate them should consider why.

That said, “niceness” is not in that list of fruit.

dont be discouraged for to long is the key. We certainly dont have to endure discourament until the end but we do have to learn how to overcome it straight away when are hearts become heavy etc. Im sure youll bounce back soon and the lord will renew your heart with gladness.

God’s family is much like all families. You don’t get to choose who your brothers are. Some brothers are smart, some are stupid, some are kind and others test our patience.

Iron sharpens iron. If you find that it’s too combative in the discussions maybe you need to toughen up (iron). This is spoken to you as a brother speaks to a brother. There are some here that aren’t brothers but wolves. I’m sure you can tell the difference.

Agreed. People sure get passionate about their beliefs. When someone disagrees, no matter how valid the argument, the opposition is quickly “X”-ed without reason, angry faced, and told they should repent because if your thoughts do not align with their thoughts, clearly eternal damnation is inevitable.
