That salvation by grace through faith was showed through the abrahamic promise. and that it would be given to all people of all nations through the seed that is in christ. And we would be saved as abraham was. Abraham believed and it was accounted to him as righteousness (justified)

Yes, Abraham believed he would become the father of many nations because God said it. However, did you know that Abraham's obedience to the covenant of circumcision played a part in the fulfillment of God's promise? The conception of Isaac came about after Abrahams obedience concerning circumcision. See Acts 7:8, Gen. 17:10-14, Gen. 17:21-24. This parallels the NT spiritual rebirth. Peter stated the truth concerning Jesus' death, burial and resurrection and commanded the listeners to repent, be baptized everyone in the name of the Lord Jesus and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Afterward expressing that the stated PROMISE was relevant to all that the Lord God shall call.

And this is exactly what happened. There is no transition or entirely different message for Jews and Gentiles.

Can God not require something different from certain People at different times ? Like laying on of hands ,for a reason ? Or asking Israel to repent of crucifying a messiah and to be baptised in order to recieve the Holy Spirit ? Why would you have a problem with later the gentiles only had to believe the Gospel in order to recieve the Holy Spirit. And the jews later ? Not an entirely different message, but a different prerequisite at that time . Just as a prerequisite to Noah was " build an Ark .

he worked and sin after salvation, but Hs salvation was never based on works

he who believes is not condemned

Yes ,but its not required to be water baptized or having hands laid on, to recieve the Holy Spirit ,other than where it happened in scripture. Read Eph 1.13 . Thats how it happens today .

Heres my point . In Acts there times when the Holy Spirit is recieved only by the Laying on of hands ( Acts 8) and after water baptism ( Acts 2 ,ect ) why would anyone think this is how a person receives the Holy Spirit today ?
Two responses to this . Catholics/ cults and others say ,yes this is how a person receives the Holy Spirit today ( Acts 2 .38 ) Others say " no ,that's not what Acts 2 .38 is saying. Both do not consider that ,there is no reason to apply those verses today. Especially in light of Eph 1.13 ,which is for today.

why would you take ANY conversion account in Acts and assume that's how a person is saved today ?

Is a command. Acts is simply relaying a historical account. The Didache is also a command. A.T. Robertson dates the Didache to 40 AD.

Doing something in the name of is simply expressing by whose authority it is done.

My point was both Jews and Gentiles were commanded to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus AFTER receiving the Holy Ghost. Receiving the Holy Ghost did not exclude the need for obedience to the command to be water baptized in Jesus' name. It was Jesus who said he who believes and IS BAPTIZED shall be saved. (Mark 16:16) Clearly Jesus reference is to water baptism since it is the only baptism that man can choose to accept or reject. God alone is the giver of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 10:44-48, 19:1-6, 22:16 Paul, 8:35-40 Eunuch, 16:28-33 Jailer/family, 16:14-15 Lydia/family, 18:8 Crispus/Corinthian believers )
