The thing is, you are going to have to have something to offer to a potential spouse such as financial stability (steady stable job), your own place, etc. as well as a certain measure of spiritual maturity. So whats "preparing" ?

I have all of these. Well, what do you mean with "spiritual maturity" ?The thing is, you are going to have to have something to offer to a potential spouse such as financial stability (steady stable job), your own place, etc. as well as a certain measure of spiritual maturity.
What do I do then ?
Yes good point I forgot to add that. Prepare yourself to be a good partner. Become more Christlike in your character while you wait. What if God waits until you’re 67 to bring you the perfect wife? Are you gonna waste all those years? There is a difference between waiting and preparing.
67 ? Really ???Yes good point I forgot to add that. Prepare yourself to be a good partner. Become more Christlike in your character while you wait. What if God waits until you’re 67 to bring you the perfect wife? Are you gonna waste all those years?

I suppose that someone who is now on meatier aspects of scripture and apply such to one's life. This requires a certain measure of wisdom.I have all of these. Well, what do you mean with "spiritual maturity" ?
Which ones ?I suppose that someone who is now on meatier aspects of scripture and apply such to one's life. This requires a certain measure of wisdom.
Proverbs would be a good place to start, and maybe Psalms.Which ones ?
I didnt understand the word "meatier".Proverbs would be a good place to start, and maybe Psalms.
For example, in parts of the bible there is mention of various foods that should not be eaten if sacrificed to an idol.I didnt understand the word "meatier".
Born again believers are compared to natural born babies in that new bornsI didnt understand the word "meatier".
Still dont understand. In what aspects could I be spiritually mature ?For example, in parts of the bible there is mention of various foods that should not be eaten if sacrificed to an idol.
A more mature approach would be to realize that there is really no such thing as an idol but they (idols) are only alive in the mind of the one that believes in such things. Therefore, any food that was sacrificed to idols would be acceptable to eat.
There are those that their conscience would bother them if they ate such food. For the one that is more spiritual mature in this regard should refrain from eating such food in the presence someone that is spiritually immature pertaining to eating food that was sacrificed to idols.
But I dont want to remain single. I want a wife ! I want a wife !Born again believers are compared to natural born babies in that new borns
subsist on milk before moving on to more solid foods that include meat.
We are also exhorted in Scripture to be content with where we are in
life, and that if you were saved as a single person, to remain single.
Actually, all of us probably have areas where we need to be more spiritually mature. As for yourself, you would be in the best position to know where you may be spiritually lacking. This is really not for myself to say.Still dont understand. In what aspects could I be spiritually mature ?
Yeah, no, you'll NEVER get one with that attitude. But I dont want to remain single. I want a wife ! I want a wife !
But hey I cant be the whole day reading the Bible. What I do the rest of the time ?
And I will never find anyone if all I do is waiting for God to give me everything.
You sound like a wayward child. Oh well. In some respects, we all areBut I dont want to remain single. I want a wife ! I want a wife !
Still dont understand. In what aspects could I be spiritually mature ?
Here's a hint: "I want a wife! I want a wife!" is about as far from spiritually mature as you can get.But I dont want to remain single. I want a wife ! I want a wife !
