Yes alcoholism (and pretty much any other addiction) is a big red flag in a potential date. More often than not an addict will prove to love and be more devoted to their addiction than to another human being. And talk is cheap (and addicts often resort to lying or twisitng the truth to cover their addicitons) so making that change instead of just saying you can change really needs to happen before you can have a healthy relationship.

But beyond that, well take it from the single Christian women here: in a thread of 600 posts you have convinced all of us that you are not "a man of God" that any woman should let "become her star spiritual advisor and guide her in love and wisdom". Honestly that whole way of saying it sets off some concerns about just how controlling you would be (and controlling is not a quality of a man of God). Instead you've shown a lack of love and respect for others, complete self-absorption, completely unrealistic expectations, and a lack of wisdom and self guidance that have convinced all of us that it would be utter foolishness for anyone to look to you for any sort of leadership or guidance right now. Seriously, would you want your sister to marry a guy like you?

So let's be super super blunt here: The kind of woman you are dreaming of is not dreaming of someone like you and wouldn't even go on a first date with you. Your only chance of ever maybe possibly making anything close to this dream come true is to become the kind of man that matches what the kind of woman you dream of is looking for. If you can't or won't do that, then the prevalence of Christian woman in Finland doesn't matter because even if there was one on every street, you wouldn't have a chance with any of them.

These are also the reasons such a woman wouldn't want to be with you as you are now. You simply don't meet the criteria for the man she wants. So right now it won't do you any good to meet 1,000 such women because none of them would agree to date you.


That's pretty much what we've been saying. Focus on changing what you can change to be a better you and attractive to the kind of person you want to be with. And don't be too proud to find some people who've made the changes you'd like to make and ask for help / advice.
