I hear people all the time who say ones who don't believe in the gifts go to heaven like the ones who do believe, except they never live in the Kingdom now as they should.
I question this type of thinking a lot. Can one be a child of God and call God a liar? The gifts are written in the book. The book says Gods children will do even more than Jesus did.
What do you think about this?

what have you recently done greater than what Jesus did, Linda (since we are apparently talking about signs & wonders)?

i wonder what Paul says about Apostles:
Galatians 1
Greeting
1 Paul, an apostle—not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— 2 and all the brothersa who are with me,
To the churches of Galatia:
1 Corinthians 15
The Resurrection of Christ
1 Now I would remind you, brothers,a of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
3For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

when was the last time anyone had the authority and power to do this?:
Acts 13
8 But Elymas the magician (for that is the meaning of his name) opposed them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. 9 But Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him 10 and said, “You son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, full of all deceit and villainy, will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.” Immediately mist and darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking people to lead him by the hand.12 Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had occurred, for he was astonished at the teaching of the Lord.
and what was the main purpose of the Apostle's era miraculous gifts and powers?
Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had occurred, for he was astonished at the teaching of the Lord.
the proconsul was astonished at the miracle?
at the authority of Paul?
or he believed the MESSAGE which was buttressed by the miracle?
