it worked for everyone else except me...weird
maybe it requires you to update it constantly, but it kept saying 'meeting will start soon' but after ten minutes it still didnt start at my end. Ah well, no big deal
Well it is kinda a big deal, you missed out and really don't know why. Once our screen says meeting will start soon, it does and never asks us, maybe the leader, to update. Idk what's going on but there are lots of groups to join. I have no idea if you can get our Church out there but they are signing up for new groups that start 2nd wk of Sept. Harvest Christian Church in Riverside CA is where one signs up online, fyi. We'll be studying the Book of Acts.

What over-complicates life ? In a word: Humans
Yeah, like the old saying: "If it weren't for having to deal with other people, it would be EASY to go to Heaven."

well I cant ask zoom that question they dont even answer
anyway the meeting convener got back to me via email and she doesnt even know so its probably an issue with computer connection

its probably better to meet on something other than zoom because it might happen to a lot of people.

Zoom works great out here there are many small groups now, the leader has to know how to set it up properly. Hope you find something soon that works.

when it works its great, when it doesnt its ?!#%^ facetime can work but problem with facetime can be sound issues rather than time limits as with zoom.

i had to upgrade my mac
when I tested it the sounds was iffy but its ok now
however, this ipad is too old to support newer software like mac os 13

So I cannot listen to audiobooks on it, since the eplatform wont work on older ipads.

I dont know if can keep up. With ordinary books at least you can just take them out and open them and read they dont require any software.

I once had a bible on my phone, but that conked out too.

I wonder if anyone still listens to....cassette tapes. You know you are an 80s child if you do. Bring back the walkman lol

Watching the news - ANY news - complicates life a lot. All conservative AND liberal news platforms currently and enthusiastically practice what they used to call yellow dog journalism.

Do you know why nobody believed the news about how serious covid is? Because they've been crying wolf for so many years that we thought they were just doing it again.

(Comes with an ad at the end, just stop the clip when it should have ended.)

Conspiracy theories actively complicate everything by design. Nothing is simple. Everything must be part of some grand scheme to kill or control us.
I was going to say politics, but this covers pretty much what I was going to say 👍

Yeah, politics for sure. Both sides are equally crazy at this point. It just rips Christians further apart in already divided nation.

Best thing about a real, physical Bible: You don't have to charge the battery to read it.

Worst thing about a real, physical Bible: You have to turn on the lamp to read it.

Cream and sugar in chocolate work together for the good of mankind.

Cream and sugar make coffee possible to ingest without shuddering.

In good cocoa though... sugar, a small amount, yes. Cream does not belong in cocoa unless you're making chocolate pudding.
