I don't have a thesis to nail to the door. But I will leave an empty bag of coffee nut M&M's as my proof...
Oh is THAT where my M&Ms went?

You keep swiping my M&Ms man, I'm gonna nail YOU to that door! :p

See. the existence of chocolate pudding is irrefutable, empirical evidence easily found in creation that there is a God, and that he is good. Non-believers are without excuse.

"Who makes a big pot of chocolate pudding, and does not himself partake by scraping the pot?"

Technically not scripture, but... sounds very Holy Ghost inspired to me.:)
lol amen to that. Unless your truely right with God eating Peanut butter cups lol.

Except that òompa loompas are fictional characters In a movie, I can imagine it was if choçolate is cooked at high temperatures it seizes up chocolate is sensative. Plus I don't think it was created to be edible it was made to be watery so it would flow like water.

Really I didn't know that any one almost drowned in it.

I met a beautiful woman yesterday. She looked amazing; she had this long dirty-blonde hair, a nice smile, blah-blah-blah. Of course she has these tight pants on, because that's what they do.

We're stuck in the same room, so we get talking and she was like "you married/ have kids?" and I was like "nope. not really interested in that at the moment" and she was like "DONT GET MARRIED IT"S A WASTE OF TIME!"

It's those little moments, when I think... You know what, it's good to be single. Praise the Lord.
Yep, it's good to be single, but so hard to be humble.

I used to have a boyfriend
But I guess he just couldn't compete
With all of these love-starved men
Who keep clamoring at my feet

Well I could probably find me another
But I guess they're just all in awe of me

Who cares? I never get lonesome
'Cause I treasure my own company

Some folks say that I'm "egotistical"
Heck, I don't even know what that means

I guess it has something to do with the way
That I fill out my skin-tight blue jeans (hahahaha)

Oh... Lord, it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
'Cause I get better lookin' each day

To know me is to love me
I must be a heck of a woman

Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble
But I'm doin' the best that I can

Yee-haw!

:p
LOL

Ok I was going to delete my last post but I went over the 5 minute time period.

Sorry about that...It's really wasn't funny or appropriate.... I just have an odd sense of humor...lol

Guess, I'd better reference it, though. Don't want to be plagiarizing... It's an old country song.

If you don't believe me get some chocolate and 2 pots, put some in the first one on low heat and the rest in the second one on high heat and watch them as they melt and cook.

Then come back on here and share the results.

Greetings!
This is an excellent post! I have not heard much from Christian men about being single, and staying single, as the Lord Will's of course.
But in these sorrowful times in which we live, it is best to stay single.
Many, many years ago, probable about 40 years ago, or more, I was reading from Jeremiah,
Jer 16:1 The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
Jer 16:2 Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.
When you read the whole chapter, you will see, that the Lord informed Jeremiah NOT to marry, because his children would not follow his God, and they would die due to the Judgments that were coming against Israel.

When I read that the Lord made it perfectly clear that I was to be single, because in the days to come they would be like the times of Jeremiah. The Lord invaded my life some 43 yrs ago, and I have never been married, no children, (thank the Lord). He has granted me the grace to stay single for His purposes in my life, it has been a long and lonely road of course, I've had some interests in 2 so-called Christian women when I was much younger, but the Lord brought those interests to end. And many years later, I came to know they did NOT know the Lord, they were "religious"........I've learned their history......very sad.

The more we are closer to the Lord HE, takes the place of everything we "THINK" we need, when we only Need HIM! For He alone is worthy, and the only true Lover of our souls.

I've had many bouts of "loneliness" through the years, some were just to lonely to coup with at times, even despaired, however HE has brought me through it all. Now I have peace like a River, and His Love for me replaces anything any human can give me.
We also need to look at the times in which we live.....do you want to bring children into this world, where they (government) may take them away from you because you will NOT live in their "fakedemic" lies and jabs? Do you realize what that would/could cost you?
Paul taught it is better to stay single, for both men and women, but He never forbid it, it is truly a gift to be called to be single. However men should seek the Lord to see "IF" it be proper wisdom to do so during this great time of suffering and sorrows. And if you truly are born-again from above, He will let you know, He promised to do so.

So thank you for bringing up this important question, because it is necessary to face during this crucial time!
Lord bless you all!
In His Love....

I strongly disagree, if the Lord has called a man to be single, that means the LORD will BE ALL he needs. It is a promise, to say otherwise is calling the Lord a liar........I know I've was called and now 43 years later, HE IS ALL I NEED, especially during this time of suffering and sorrow!
Praise the Lord.
Lord bless you......

Fellowship with God and his people > companionship. One can sustain you without the other, while the other is useless without the first.
It could be nice to have a wife, but at the end of the day it could also be more trouble than it's worth- Peter and his fellow disciples recognized that immediately when Jesus explained that you can't just be divorcing willy-nilly any time you want for any reason you want. You have to be smart and make sure the person you marry isn't a total maniac- because once you commit, you are stuck to that person. For better or for worse. Imagine people going into marriage understanding the "or for worse" part. I don't really think most people see that coming until it hits them right in the face.
Now, I understand that there definitely is a "For better" scenario, and that lots of people enjoy that blessing in their life, and that is great! (almost as great as being single!;)) And especially the children of those people have a blessing when they have married parents in the Lord- that is how it was meant to be from the beginning. I know there are people doing it right, and they are blessed!

But there is no cause to covet or envy- whether you're single OR married. I have had married people lash out in their jealousy "oh, it must be nice not to have to (insert thing that married people "have to do" for their family, who they supposedly love). It's stupid. We just need to find out how to find godly content (I'm not talking about complacency) in the situation we are in.

Being single is a different kind of stress. But despite the cost emotionally and the stress, coming home to a place where others await you, to share food and conversation....that's so heartwarming on a long cold day. Relationships are tough atm. A partnership can be broken so easily. Are u scared of the married life?
