Jesus taught Paul secret things that no other Apostle was taught

Paul said this, under inspiration of God, presumably taught by Jesus

Galatians 5
17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

We see here what the fruit of the spirit is not

Galatians 5
19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

We see here what is the fruit of the spirit

Galatians 5:22
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

Jesus taught us this

Matthew
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.

So, that brings us to this passage

John 2
13 It was nearly time for the Jewish Passover celebration, so Jesus went to Jerusalem. 14 In the Temple area he saw merchants selling cattle, sheep, and doves for sacrifices; he also saw dealers at tables exchanging foreign money.15 Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He drove out the sheep and cattle, scattered the money changers’ coins over the floor, and turned over their tables. 16 Then, going over to the people who sold doves, he told them, “Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father’s house into a marketplace!”

I posit that this is not the behavior of a Spirit filled person, has on Jesus own teachings of loving one another, especially your enemy

Doing something sinful just because you are God doesn't make it ok. In fact, it is contradictory to all of scripture

Waiting for the ill informed to tell me how Christlike these actions were

There is a Starbucks at my church, is it ok to be an imitator of Christ and tear that thing up
.

Here is what the Father gave to Isaiah to teach on this subject., heear Him through His prophet.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I posit that this is not the behavior of a Spirit filled person

John 3:34 . . God's Spirit is upon him without measure or limit.

John 4:34 . . My food, said Jesus, is to do the will of him who sent me

John 6:38 . . I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but
the will of Him who sent me

John 8:28 . . I do nothing on my own initiative

John 8:29 . . He that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me
alone; for I do always those things that please Him.

John 10:30 . . I and my Father are unified.

Matthew 7
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

1 John 4:8
... for God is love.

1 Corinthians 13
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Matthew 22
36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

Yes, Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek..... and since He didnt stone the woman in adultery, then He was showing favortism; God isnt supposed to to that.

There is a serious problem with the narrative !!!!!!

I know you tried to present this in a logical and conclusive manner, but it does not fly

it does not fly as your little dialogue attempts to persuade from your own conclusion, the purpose of which is...do clue us in because your explanation creates questions that you would most likely prefer to ignore

it seems you are angry against your church

I wonder what sort of influence you wield there when taking people aside to complain

smh

The folks who were about to stone the woman were the same crowd who were extorting money for offerings. Nothing God does is wrong.

Nice deflection
We are discussing the inerrant, inspired, and non contradicting passages I quoted above....

You do believe in inspiration and inerrancy, don't you ?

Jesus was without sin, he was God, He convicted the money changes; its not about the others in the crowd, its about Jesus actions

That's what we are discussing

It seems quite appropriate that the One who created all that is would protect and defend those who love Him. After all, He is Love, and is the first to be worthy of being l9oved.

Those folks you mention were leading Israelites astry. He, being the Good Shepherd should never condone suche abuse of the Sabbath, nor allow others to teach against the Seventh Day.

If Jesus had done anything "wrong" or "sinful" at ANY point during His time on earth, then He couldn't have been the "perfect" sacrifice for sin.

The Apostle James said "for whoever shall keep the whole law, yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all". So if Jesus had indeed sinned by cleansing the temple, then He would have been guilty of breaking the whole law.

Elijah is another good example. After the contest between God and Ba'al at Mt. Carmel, he slaughtered the prophets of Ba'al. Of course, Elijah was not God, but he definitely had God's permission to do what He did. And I would dare say that killing a bunch of people, even though they were false prophets, is much more severe than driving people out of the temple.

TL;DR: Jesus expressed righteous indignation when He cleansed the temple. Which is not contrary to the Spirit, because the latter is also God.

To me, saying that Jesus sinned is a great sin...antichrist, actually.

As men, we are told not to judge others, lest be judged; Jesus put aside His divinity and became fully man. So if God 'tells' someone to blow up a clinic or church, its ok ? Because God told them to do it ...

My point in all of this, none of you, or me or that matter, know of which we speak; we guess based on our reading of the word, particularly leaning on others telling us what it means. But when one TRULY EXAMNINES word vs. deed, there is is clear evidence we don't have noy of it figured out

Jesus did what He told us not to
He is God, so I guess that is ok, but it is still contrary to our plain understanding of the moral law

Good thing you aren't God; I am pointing out passages and asking questions

I am asking, based on text and the law of non contradiction, if Jesus sinned

I guess God is going to judge you now for judging me

I suggest that you get to know God, because if you knew Him, you wouldn't call Him a sinner.
