I don't understand what you are saying. ALL THOSE VERSES TAKE place AS THE LORDS DAY BEGINS,

and the Lords Day begins with the kingdoms of this world all becoming His, at the return, the day of vengeance, to rule and reign on the earth, with a rod of Iron. Heaven coming to earth. The Lord and all the angels.
When would you say the Lord's day begins? Revelation 1:10? Revelation 11:15? Revelation 20:5? Multiple points in Revelation?

Where in scripture does it say that the day of the Lord starts with the kingdom?

Jesus isn't limited to sitting at the Right Hand of God. Didn't Jesus promise His early church that He would be with them until the end of time? "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28
We must NOT CHANGE what doesn't fit with what WE THINK but we must RE THINK what we are being told until we understand what is written. IF WE CHANGE anything it better be because IT IS WRITTEN to be changed.

So YES, Jesus did promise and Jesus did fulfill that promise when Jesus SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SO IS ALWAYS WITH US.

EVERYTHING REMAINS TRUE AND TRUTH AS IT IS WRITTEN. That is THE ONLY WAY, EVER, for us to STAY ON THE NARROW PATH. One foot off and all that follows is corrupt.

FIRST LESSON we are taught and are to learn is BELIEVE WHAT IS WRITTEN and be very very careful when someone changes 'the words' or says 'what He really meant' or 'HATH GOD SAID'.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

It so ALMOST seems the same doesn't it? Makes you even think 'Hmm, that works'. BUT IT isnt the same and it DOESN'T work. It may not seem like such a big deal NOW, but when getting on down the road, TO change it a little means TO CHANGE IT COMPLETELY. And we don't 'see' it until it's too late. That is how Satan works. It's deception. It's the division.

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

WE ALSO CAN'T 'ADD' ANY WORDS OF OUR OWN, BECAUSE WHEN WE DO, SATAN WILL TELL US

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die

BUT THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE WE WILL

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And all of a sudden ALL THIS EXTRA STUFF IS READ INTO IT, AND SATAN ADDS SOME THOUGHTS MOSTLY TRUE (got to make it believable) BUT THE 'NOT' PART IS A KILLER OF THE SOUL and soon it is THE DOCTRINE THAT DEMANDS THE CHANGING OF THIS AND THAT AND THE ADDING OF THIS AND THE NEGATING OF THAT AND IN THE END YOU HAVE nothing of TRUTH, just lies that SOUND GOOD and you like how they make you feel.

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

At least that is how I read and see it.

When would you say the Lord's day begins? Revelation 1:10? Revelation 11:15? Revelation 20:5? Multiple points in Revelation?

Where in scripture does it say that the day of the Lord starts with the kingdom?
2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
13 And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He hath on his vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

2Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Isaiah 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.

Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:
32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations:
and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

2 Thess. 2:2-3 - When the Man of Sin is revealed! Paul made it very clear - UNTIL ... FIRST. That sets a hard condition. The closest analogue is the arrest of Jesus in the garden, that's when Judas, the son of perdition was revealed. His disciples all ran away, only John walked the Via Dolarosa with the Master to the corss. Paul used the exact same title to describe the Antichrist - Son of Perdition!

The rebellion and the man of lawlessness is stated as a prerequisite ("until") but not necessarily as a starting point ("when").

I too find it more compelling to look at the Day of the Lord as a duration of time rather than a 24 hour period.

If you are stating that the Day of the Lord starts with the physical coming of Christ, at what point in Revelation can we attribute that to? Is it the seventh angel trump in Rev 11? Or in the physical coming of Christ in relation to the first resurrection per 1 Thes 4:16? If we follow 1 Thes 4:16, that places the Day of the Lord starting at Rev 20:5. Which means that the seventh angel trump cannot be the last trump.

I've seen a few users do that, but I think in some cases it's more to the tune of the parable of the Wedding Feast and the king calling the one guest "friend" before having him tied up and tossed out of the Banquet (Mat 22:11).

As much as "friend" in that sense can be snarky, I kind of appreciate it on some level as a clever reference to something that wouldn't necessarily come up in a day to day conversation with a nonChristian. If it is meant that way I usually see it as welcomed playful banter rather than a genuine attempt to aggravate or ruffle feathers. It can almost be seen as a strong expression that says, "I stand by my doctrine!"

I don't believe God is in any kind of a rush, He is looking to have all who will, come to repentance. Takes time and something you really want to give a good chance. It is after all life and death. And what good would be being priests and teaching for a 24 hour day? How much would be accomplished? What kind of a chance is that. I personally think it takes 1000 years to really get a handle on how GODS words fit perfectly together.

I do not understand what you are saying about the 7th trump and the 'physical' coming not being at the same time. Could you explain why you don't believe they are the same.

If that were truth, then you could tell us who were the two witnesses? Where were they killed? What did it look like when they were taken to heaven in the sight of all? What did Gods voice sound like? What happened when the dead rose and all the alive and remaining were changed? Where exactly is the 'abyss' Satan was placed, once bound? Where we we? What was God and Magog like? What about the LOF? How did that go? Why don't I have personal knowledge of these things? Where is my Dad now? I have about a billion questions for you that IF THE SON OF PERDITION WAS REVEALED then timing wise, this is the new heaven and earth and all evil was done away with in the lake of fire a thousand years ago. See the problems? Can't claim one event has taken place when it is tied to all the other events that haven't.

AS for Judas being revealed as the son of perdition DOESN'T fit as Judas wasn't anywhere near performing lying signs and wonders, was he? Nor deceiving the world.

Have ye not read?

Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

Acts 1:17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity;
and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

One thing I am very very grateful for of God, is that he KNOWS all of us.

I see you're from Canada, a New Year's baby.

We are from sooo many diverse place with different dialects and understanding in that dialect. Yet God knows what each receives from him and how we walk that path according to OUR understanding of his word.

If we just stayed in that word w/ o man's interpretations, how pleasant would our unity be.

If you understand what he said to me after i initially called him friend, you would see his animosity towards me.
That is why he alone struggles when someone calls him friend.

That has never been a problem i am aware of, or know of, until he bucked up at me.

Have a good evening friend.

The background of Paul's letter to the church of Thessalonica was the widespread conspiracy theories like these, somebody had even wrote them a letter in Paul's name telling them that the Day of the Lord had already happened, and y'all just missed it. That's basically telling them that Jesus had already returned and "raptured" His church, and y'all were all "left behind"! Paul wrote that letter to clear out these misinfomation, that was his purpose. 2 Thess. 2:2-3 sets the signal and condition of the second coming, that the Antichrist must be revealed first, everything else in your questions happens after that, none of them had taken place already. In the end, "immediately after the tribulation", Christ will return, and it won't be in secrecy, all the world will see Him. Have ye not read that there's no Christ in the desert or in any secret closet? Jesus specifically warned about these false prophets.

As for Judas, go read John 12. He's the first socialist who expressed a fake outrage over Mary Bethany's disposal of her own property, and in other gospels, other disciples echoed his concern. That's the deception, the social gospel which has been widespread in most churches, they're focusing on social issues instead of preaching the gospel and saving lost souls. If you think the world's not deceived by that, then you're deceived.

Mat 24
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Luke 17
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32 Remember Lot's wife.

33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left

Pretrib rapture.
Fanciful nonsense!
