The Trinity doctrine can never be understood with our approach towards the subject matter. We are far from understanding the Trinity if the only thing we could find suitable enough to liken God's image is an egg or the forms of water.
Genesis 1: 26
And God said, let us make man in our own image, after our LIKENESS.
The only thing our God can be likened with is man. How is the man created? Spirit, Soul and body. These three make up the Adam you know.
God also has a Soul in the person of the Holy Spirit ( Job 23:13 and Hebrews 10:38 ) and a Spiritual body in the person of Christ Jesus. ( Colossians 2:9 ).
If Adam's Soirit, Soul, and body make him one Adam then God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one God.
Is the trinity preached in the Bible? No, it's No because our God is one God. From the old testament to the new, nowhere it was written otherwise.
Genesis5:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 45:5, 1 Corinthians 8:4, Mark 12:26, 1 Timothy 2:5 All testifies to our God being one God. James 2: 19 said even the devil believes in the oneness of God
Jesus in John 14:7, and John 10:30, Jesus made a direct statement to that also.
When you decide to believe what to want to believe then the Holy Spirit will do little. No one here knows better than the Bible. If we don't believe what was written with scriptural evidence then I will say I regret starting this topic
